The Great Detention
The first of the meals for the weekend finished at ten am on Saturday morning. Anton, who wanted nothing more than to retreat off as he had business he had elsewhere that was outside of the castle, was still there. His eyes roamed as the rest of the children in Hogwarts left, save for the two Gryffindor students previously met. Jane Victoria, and Alexander Claaseen, had been fighting in the same location, involving a physical alteration and the inability to stop, even after the Professors stepped in. Anton was far from amused with them, if he was honest. He knew that both he and Ms. Jensen had other things to do, that didn't involve babysitting. This is a detention thread for Jane Victoria and Alexander Claassen. This thread will be modded by myself, as well as Hjørdis Jensen. As guidelines, please obey the following:Please remember that you are not in trouble out of character; this is only in character.1. Your posts need to abide by the 200 word minimum.
2. You do not have to wait for a professor to reply, but do not godmod them.
3. You need a minimum of 3 posts before you're allowed to start new threads.
4. Until #3 is fulfilled, you are not allowed to start any threads, although you're welcome to reply to started ones, or any out of character ones.
"Right, as I said the other day, you'll be washing and sanitizing the tables in the Great Hall by hand," he stepped off the Professor's raised ledge and flicked his wand. Two sets of buckets, gloves, and wash clothes appeared on two separate tables, "I expect all five of the tables to be clean and spotless before the lunch hour, which gives you three hours. Because you cannot be civil, there'd be no fighting between you two. You're only allowed to use pleasant words. Do you have any questions?" He hoped the answer was no. He really wasn't in the mood to deal with first year questions, anyways. Or second year questions. He didn't really care which year they were in at this point.

The Great Detention
(Got bugged out)
Alex didn't speak, but he nodded to show he understood. He took a pair of gloves, a bucket, and a wash cloth, and moved to the Gryffindor table. He donned the gloves and grabbed a washcloth, dampening it, he started washing the table, he turned to Jane/Jay "You..." He remembered what the Professor said, and grinned. "You are a nice person and people respect you!" He said in a hostile tone, but he was still grinning. "I Hope you have a nice day, and your parents are great people and they love you very much!" He pointed at them, and chuckled, before turning back to the table
That was fun. Alex thought as he started wiping up the... what is that? Never-mind... He kept wiping it, lost in thought as he scrubbed down the wooden table. Well, at least i'm not dead... Yet... Alex thought grimly, before looking down to see how much he had left to go. He was about 1/18th done and he'd been here for five minutes, He sighed. "This is sooo much fun..." Alex said sarcastically, continuously wiping down the table. A sudden thought struck him, "The faster i do this, the quicker i can leave!" Alex realized. He quickened his pace, furiously scrubbing down the table, until only half of it was left, yet the soapy water had turned into a dark brown muck. He turned to the professor.
"Uhm.. Where do i clean this out?" he asked.

Jay listened to the Professor and tried not to think of any bloodthirsty things to do at Alex. That wouldn’t definitely help their case of anger issues. Then Professor Nagal asked them if they had any questions so Jay just replied with a small and simple, “No.” This was going to be a looong boring three hours of scrubbing tables. Great. Just great.
Then, Alex started to talk to them in such a... In such a way that made them want to vomit. Jay rolled their eyes at him. “You’re a idiotic person and people hate you!” They said in a mimicking tone, “I hope that your have a terrible day and your parents are—“ Jay stopped there. They realized that their parents parents might be dead. They realized that their parents might actually be terrible... They realized that their parents might... Might of abandoned them! Jay shook off the thought and quickly continued, “And your parents hate you!” Jay finished off.
Jay then started to scrub the Hufflepuff table with speed and strength. The ugly thought hit them again. But then... I do live with Grindelwald followers and Azakan prisoner escapers... So it would be no surprise if my parents were bad like that...

Well, that went well...
Alex flinched, and turned back to them, "Seriously?" Alex said, looking at Jane/Jay "Do you really wanna..." He took a breath, "First of all, i'm already having a terrible day." He said looking at them. "And second, i wouldn't know if my parents hate me, as i left without saying goodbye, due to being rushed off, but thank you for telling me." Alex was starting to shake. "and finally." He coughed, his voice was starting to crack. "And finally, i already know people hate me, and if all Gryffindors are like you, and all of the heads are like Hjordis, then maybe I truly am worth hating, since there has to be a point where it's not just terrible people, it's me who's the terrible person."
Alex was starting to cry, "Go ahead, call me what you will, I've heard it all, and maybe what's buried deep inside me is who i truly am, and i'm just a facade to hide something, a worn out mask to be discarded when it's no longer of use." Alex turned back to the table, "If what I've heard is true, then i'm a crybaby, a monster, an idiot, a... a... dirty mu-" Alex choked up, he shook his head and started to clean up the rest of the Gryffindor table. Afterwords he turned to the Ravenclaw table and starting wiping.
"Just please...Jane... Don't Remind Me."

The Great Detention
I'm Done, I just want to leave.
Alex soon finished Ravenclaw as well, and was now working on the professors table. He was silently wiping off the table, ignoring both the Professor and Jane. His arms were burning, begging him to stop, but he kept going. The pain kept him going, determination filled him fueling him to go faster, igniting the personas that beforehand had been frosted by the pill. He welcomed them, and together, they swiftly cleaned the table.
Few hate you, Alex. WE ARE STILL HERE You have traits that many prize, but if you let that... Person... Eliminate these qualities, then we will have to take over, and you remember the last time this happened HONESTY, INTEGRITY, HONOR, SINCERITY, BRAVERY, DETERMINATION. Alex was soon finished with even the Slytherin Table, the strange words from his mind conforted him, kept him from crawling into a ball and begging Jane to forgive him. He held himself together as he finished the last table, gazing at Jane, "Goodbye."

The Great Detention
Jay couldn’t help to smirk to themself. Sensitive boy... Aww he’s crying? Too bad! Jay thought, Oh geez... What is wrong with me nowadays? Jay felt like they were becoming more and more cruel as each day passed. Jay hurried up as they scrubbed the proffesors table, it was definetly much more cleaner than the other tables. This guy was honestly not one of the worst people from what they had met before. Once they met a girl who was a crybaby about everything and she would throw things at people. And she was only ten at that time! Ten. At that age people should be civilized and not go crazy. Once Jay got into a fight with that girl, and of course Jay won since they knew jiu jitsu.
They moved on to the second half of the Professors table, scrubbing it with even more force and determination. Jay wondered how it must of felt to be a teacher and grieve students detention and watch them suffer. Jay then looked back up at Alex.
And of course. Jay just had to say something, “I’m not sure about dirty but I do agree on you being a monster for nearly ripping my arm off!” They said. Gosh. I really must be a jack-arse.

The Great Detention
Persona's are very dangerous things to have.
Alex turned to Jane, he walked over to them, pure hatred in his eyes, he pulled his hand back...
------Pat Pat Pat! Alex patted their head, laughing. "If you think that a mere broken bone qualifies a monster, yet someone like ahh... what was his name, Grindelwald is a hero?" Alex asked, wiping down a random area on the table. The tables were spotless. Alex didn't want to admit it, but only two hours had passed and the Great hall looked spectacular, they made a good team. "Maybe a hero to you is someone like... this?" Alex took out a small photo, on it was He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named. "Or This?" Alex asked, taking out a photo of Harry potter.
"I can see you clearly want nothing more than to wipe my existence from the planet, and I won't lie, I've had similar thoughts as well." He laid back, taking in the scene, "Do you want to know the differance between us is?" Alex asked. Surprisingly, it didn't seem like Alex was bothering with his smoke and mirrors trick anymore. "I know I'm broken inside, and I try to fix it." He snickered, "Alright, I Usually try to fix it." He turned to Them "You, however, don't, You keep trying to rip me down, and for what?" Alex asked, tilting his head "What would you want me to do?" He extended his arm. "Snap my arm like i did to you?" He placed his hands on his jaw and head "Snap my neck like you plan to do to me, I believe?"
"Or Maybe..." He got on his knees "Maybe you want me to beg and worship you like some kind of deity." He stood up, looking at Jane. "So then, what do you want, Revenge, satisfaction, or maybe, we could just be friends?" He laughed "Yeah, that's never going to happen is it?" Alex sat down, examining them like some kind of exotic material, like a new toy never before seen. "So what will it be, Death, Revenge, Or Worship?"

The Great Detention
Hjørdis sighed irritably. She had been there the whole time, watching the situation with regretting eyes. Turning to Anton, Hjørdis raised an eyebrow, "Do these kids really think we can't hear them?" She asked him, hypothetically more so than anything else to make a point that both of the Professors could definitely hear everything that was being said in the room. They were actively watching and listening to the children. She had heard Anton telling them both to be civil, she had also heard the insults that then came out of Jane's mouth. "Huh... interesting. I was unaware that we turned invisible..." She continued, sarcastically. They had either ignored her fellow professor's instructions, not heard it or not seen him present. But they were definitely not invisible - she certainly wished she was at this point, however. She would leave him to deal with this nonsense if she could.
She stepped forward, about to have a word with Jane about it. Her wands automatically raised, ready to cast a spell at any moment to silence her, if needed. Watching them, Hjørdis noticed the boy's demeanour changing. He started to look sad, shake. She sighed. Dealing with crying children was not fun. That was when she heard his voice about all of the heads being like 'Hjordis'. The female professor heard a stifled cough from behind her as her eyebrow twitched. Did this child just dare to call a Professor by their first name? More importantly, did he get it so wrong? His pronunciation was completely off. There was a reason no one called her by her first name. Everyone only called her by the nickname, which she introduced herself with or by her surname. She looked back at Anton with a look that clearly showed her exasperation to him, wondering why she had to deal with this nonsense. Hjørdis took a deep breathe, trying to calm herself down and deal with it a little more professionally than she wanted to.
Approaching the students, she glared at them both. Alexander pulled out photos of Harry Potter and Voldemort, casually. The war had ended years ago... Over twenty years ago, in fact. Long before either of these two children were given born. Her eyes focused on the photo for a moment, she frowned a little. It was not illegal for him to have old photos of people. However, it was certainly unusual and she had to wonder why he had them. Harry Potter was now in Azkaban, on trial as a suspected murderer. Voldemort was long gone but the memories of the evil that he had done still lived on. This castle had people in it that had been affected by his war. Some of the Professors themselves had been attending Hogwarts when the war happened. Hjørdis was fairly certain that carrying around photos like this was simply a way of hurting people, forcing them to remember the bad that happened.
"Are you two incapable of listening, as well?" She asked the pair of them. She had already questioned their ability to read when they had fought in the Great Hall, "Professor Nagal clearly asked you both to be civil and use pleasant words." She explained before turning to the one called Jane, "Do you know what 'civil' and 'pleasant' means?" She asked the young child. Hjørdis frowned at Jane, getting fed up with her rudeness, "If you cannot say anything pleasant then don't talk at all." She instructed. The Professor's tone of voice made it clear she was not messing around. If Jane continued to be rude for no reason, Hjørdis would quickly stop the child from talking.
"And you-" She started, turning to Alexander, "Is there a reason you're harping on about Grindelwald and carrying pictures of Voldemort and Potter?" It had been over twenty years since the dark lord's demise. She was unafraid to say his name. Her gaze turned to one with a little more concern, "Snapping arms is a pretty sure way of getting expelled." She continued, not one to tolerate such physical violence in a school. The child was eleven. The truth was, his earlier attempt at snapping Jane's arm did not work as effectively as he had hoped. It probably caused her to hurt a little and bruise but her bones were fine. Hjørdis healed it to ensure there was no damage and remove the bruising if there was any but he did not succeed in snapping her bone like he thought he had. Hjørdis simply decided not to clarify that for him. The fact that he attempted it was enough to warrant a detention. "And it's Professor Jensen." She said sharply, her tone of voice clearly unhappy with being called by a name that was completely wrong.
The boy was no longer crying it seemed. He was in a better mood. "This is literally the first session. Professor Nagal said you have to clean after every meal and this is how you want to start it off?" Angering the two Professors that had to watch them over the course of the weekend was not exactly the smartest idea. The pair had chosen to annoy them in the very first session. "If you two cannot be civil, stay away from each other. The next sessions will be done in utter silence, on other sides of the rooms or you'll get to do the whole thing alone." She continued before looking at their gloves, "And be grateful that Professor Nagal set this up. If you two cannot behave, I'll set up the next one and it won't be as pleasant." She continued. She would not have given them both gloves. Heck, she would have trailed more dirt into the room, just to force them to clean it with their bare hands. They ought to be glad that the Potions Professor was far nicer than she was.

Jay angrily clenched the rag as Alex talked. “You know what? Maybe if Grindelwald had won you wouldn’t be here. Actually now I do wish that he won,” Jay said then throwing the rag inside a clean and empty bucket. Why the hell does this guy even have photos of Lord Voldy and Harry Potter? Jay could feel her head starting to throb from the waiting to do something but stopping themself. Their anger seemed to dissolve as The Head of Slytherin walked towards them. It was replaced by nervousness.
Jay digger their nails into the palms of their hands. “Sorry proffesor, amd Yes I do know what Civil and Pleasant mean. It certainly won’t happen again,” They said. Then just as Professor Jensen asked Alex why he was talking about Grindelwald Jay could of probably fainted of worry, hoping that he wouldn’t menation anything about what they had told him earlier. Jay knew that if he mentioned anything about it they would get into trouble. Big. Trouble. Lady Anguelique would probably kidnapp them in the middle of the night at Hogwarts and make sure they get locked up somewhere dark.
Jay looked at Alex for his response. Please... please... please! I swear if he does...

Sorry, a bit late
Why did I do that, especially for them?
Alex was about to reply, 'Oh it's just that Jane over there worships Grindel-something' But he turned to them, and something about the look in their eyes, like he was deciding something that could change their life... it saddened him and made him pity them. He turned back to the professor. "I just wanted to annoy them Professor ahh... Jensen?, it's my specialty after all!" He winked, "After all, I annoyed you, though I suppose you're always annoyed." He tried to get the professor to forget about the Pictures, and said something really stupid.
"Honestly, i don't think you could make this more unpleasant, since you said the next ones would be complete silence." He decided to antagonize them. "Even if you strapped spikes to the washcloths and whipped us with snakes, it would still be better than having to listen to Jane." He winked towards them. "Honestly, if I wasn't so exhausted, i would beg for anything else than being stuck listening to them." He sat back, "Well then, what say you professor JensOn" He realized he screwed up, and quickly tried to bluff it off, "I mean, Jensen, sorry, please don't hurt me."
