"Or yet in wise old Ravenclaw,
If you've a ready mind,
Where those of wit and learning,
Will always find their kind."

The newly sorted have been picked, and are piling towards their assigned tables. The older members of the houses have already been sat down. Older members and new members alike should find themselves welcomed to the table of gold and blue. Food will be arriving shortly, but for now, why not conversate with the other members of ravenclaw? We're ecstatic to have you, and surely you have something to talk about, whether it was how your summer was, or what you expect out of your years at Hogwarts.

Be sure to try some of the food! We've heard that it's extremely tasty, and the Sorting Ceremony is one of the most fun nights of the year, and one of the best feasts.

Sally made it to her house table and found an empty seat. The sorting ceremony was still going on as people who were to be her classmates found their right fit, but Sally's glance was now only for the various dishes placed all across the table.

There were small chocolate cakes shaped like different animals, a chocolate fountain, all sorts of meats and veggies, a lot of ice creams and pies, and some dishes that resembled nothing she ever saw. She wanted to know what these were and made a mental note to look them up later in the library.

For now, she picked up a cake shaped like an eagle - the symbol of her house. It would make for a good beginning, she thought. She also helped herself to some fries.

As she nibbled at her food, Sally thought of all that she could do at Hogwarts. She had been restricting herself before, but now the more she thought, the more it seemed like being a witch could be her destiny. She could do a lot of good things if she knew magic. She could help people, it would be wonderful.

Sally found herself lost in another one of her daydreams, imaging herself as a great witch, knowing all there is to know, and helping everyone with her knowledge. Now she was certain she had made the right choice by coming to Hogwarts.

Willie always had a terrible sense of direction. When he finally found the correct table he blushed and mumbled an apology for his tardiness. Willie quickly sat down at the table without another word in fear of embarrassing himself further. His bright eyes combed over the room with a water-like ease. Every face, every single piece of food, every once of magical activity. He soaked up every ounce of it all and attempted to sear the image into his mind.

Willie unconsciously reached across the table and grabbed a random pastry in front of him. A cookie. He bit into it and let the sweet flavor coat his tongue causing his body to relax. He observed the many robed people who were around him and unconsciously began to eat faster and faster. When a few fellow wizards looked at him weirdly when he began to stare a bit too hard he went into a small giggling fit before he stopped himself. If this was a table of ravens, he was a hawk. However, unlike the hawk, instead of flesh and bone, he feasted on information and knowledge.

What an interesting place. With such interesting people.

As the entrance door opened, she stared at the greatness of the room in awe. She has never imagined it to look this majestic and magical, although she read more than enough books about this room. Hundred of eyes seemed to stare at the group of newcomers - most of them seemed welcoming and warm. She was not nervous, she knew this place means home. As the group of her future classmates started to slowly move through the alley, she took a deep breath and joined them.

She started to feel excited as she noticed a sorting hat in the hands of professor. Fay always felt confused about which house she could belong into. It seemed as all her friends already knew who they are, but she did not know. Suddenly, the teacher started to call their names and she started to watch a sorting ceremony. She enjoyed the silence and excitement mixed with nervousness on the faces of new students. And she also felt growing enthusiasm to be sorted as all the wise words of the hat were followed by the loud clapping of the house they have been sorted into. Suddenly she heard it: "Nyxe, Fay!". She calmly looked to the stool, walked to it and sat down. Then she just felt a hat sitting on her long hair, the silence followed. She started to feel conscious about the long silence...was the hat unsure as she was?

"Ravenclaw!", with a loud voice announced the sorting hat. Fay felt happiness raising into her face. She quickly run to a table that was clapping the loudest and exchanged words of hi with her new house. She felt proud, she felt happy to finally find out where she always belonged to.

Lucille got up and found herself at the Ravenclaw table, a table she did not expect herself to be in. Her family mainly had Gryffindors and Hufflepuffs, something about how under all those scowls and harsh words, lie a bold heart with a strong kindness and loyalty to friends and comrades. Lucilla was sure she ended up on the Gryffindor table when she first entered for the sorting ceremony. Now she is considered the only Stoatland to ever take a seat of those who are of wits and not of brawn.

However this eases her heart. The Sorting Hat, as her grandparents would say, is never truly wrong. This meant she is truly meant to be part of Ravenclaw. This meant to feast, and as the food appears, Lucille happily would dig into the food made and ready by whoever. All she knows a good meal is a good meal.

Vee walks toward the Ravenclaw table, which she assumed was the table filled with people wearing robes lined with blue with blue banners above it. She read that Ravenclaw’s house colors are blue. She slides to an empty space on the bench, careful not to hit anyone as she does. Everyone waited patiently for the sorting to finish - others cheered when they received a new member or if the person is part of a known wizarding family.

She wanted to give a good first impression, she would see this group of people the most in the next seven years and hoped to gain at least one friend. She was well enough to be able to smile and give small nods to those who greeted her as she seated but the doubts and thoughts flood her again. She was fixated on the number of people around her and kept anxiously observing them even as the food appeared in from of them.

Everyone was seated on long benches, too close for comfort. Surprisingly, there was enough room for everyone. It was not until everyone have food on their plates that she reaches out for her share. There was a lot of food, and the way it magically appeared would have left her in awe if she wasn’t too nervous to be there.

All that stops you is fear. Do not allow it.

To say that Ms. Wynne felt very lucky to not yet be at the table of Ravenclaw was the least you could possibly say. She gasped in horror to see such a spell turn into effect. Who would've done such a thing, she thought to herself. It didn't occur to her very mind that she, unfortunately, was hit with the spell as well due to its spreading.

She moved one of her hands to her hair when she felt her hair feeling suspiciously lose on her scalp, accidentally brush long strands of her black hair onto the floor of the Great Hall. Her face turned pale from the shock and horrifying realization that she, indeed, wasn't as lucky as she thought. She bit her bottom lip and felt her face glowing a deep shade of red, rushing away pass the Ravenclaw table, embarrassed and ashamed of the hair-loss spell forcefully placed onto her. It only came to mind as she rushed away from the table that it appeared that the Slytherin table was left untouched and had a regressing feeling that it may have been someone from the table who would've done something as cruel as this.

For this reason alone, made Ms. Wynne despise the Slytherin more than she did now as she rushed away out of the Great Hall, immediately crying to herself as she held whatever was left of her hair on her head and rushed off to who-knows-where.

It could only be concluded from that point on, that Ms. Wynne will find a deep repose of hatred for those in the Slytherin house, and the Slytherin house itself as Ms. Wynne rushed out with loud, wailing sounds of crying. And for Ms. Wynne's first day in Hogwarts, it is simply ruined by someone's own play of mischief.

(Slytherin Table to Hufflepuff table)

Marcus looked up from his food at the middle of the Slytherin Table, glaring at the one who yelled at his table "Why do you assume it was anyone of us, I mean we are all here enjoying a fine meal, sure we still have our hair but obviously we could of been framed and the actual person who did something is amongst your three tables, plus if we actually wanted to prank everyone it wouldn't be hair-loss spells..bah pathetic" He shouted back to the girl with a cold tone "Also a simple hair-loss jinx took half of every table down, so...what does that say to The Gryffs, Claws and Puffs defensive abilities, I only saw one shield spell and that was at the Gryffs table, Great looking shield by the way Arya!, if I could award points you would receive somewhere around 40-50 for your house, anyway back to my current argument" He shouted once more then pause to catch his breath "Of course you can all assume we did it because of the past history of our house, but how mature does that make you, true we are eleven years old for the first years that still doesn't mean you can't make a mature decision, now if you all will excuse me I will get back to eating my food!"

As he made his way to the Ravenclaw table Kaiser could see the effects of the spell casted on the hall, though it didn't seem to affect him or the others waiting to be sorted, probably because they were in front of the tables, but he could still see how most people got their hair fall on the floor or simply dissappear, one girl even started crying and ran away. The boy only chuckled at the sight of everyone hairless but made sure to not make fun of anyone, he wouldn't want to start with a left foot his year in Hogwarts.

As he sat on the table and took a piece of what seemed to be roasted meat, he smiled to others and begun chatting with whomever he could, thinking that if he would've lost his hair he'd have to cope with that as he didn't know any spells to regrow hair, but he would make sure to retaliate the culprit somehow, though hopefully the spell would dissipate or get fixed by a teacher soon, that way there would be no more conflict as right now, he wanted to focus on his food and whatever would come after the sorting ceremony.
