The Ravenclaw Table 2019 -2020
This whole time Shauna has been in a strange walking comatose state; you know the lights are on but no body is home sort of deal it's been like that since she walked through A WALL to get to the train. She felt like she was in a dream & just thought she was going to wake up. Her sense's finally returned to her when; somewhat; when she was sorted....honestly she didn't even hear which house she was placed in however the eruption of cheers told her where she belongs.
She moved swiftly an end of the table where no one was currently sitting; mostly for the fact that this is what she was used to....she was used to being alone. The plate in front of her filled up with meatloaf, mashed potatoes & gravy; after her visit to Diagon Alley the first book she opened to read was Hogwarts: A History she didn't want to be completely in the dark.
However even with all the reading she has done she couldn't figure out the crazy looking money; when she was buying her school supplies all the store people where nice enough to count out the money they needed & give her change if necessary. As she ate she fished out the leather pouch that contained her wizard money she took out one of each "Okay I have some of these silver things & some of these gold things...what are these things called again? This is so confusing...." She propped the book up on the table to see what she could find out about the wizard money she now possessed. Why does her new world have to be so complicated?
After what seemed like an eternity of reading & rereading the same passage three times leaving her food lay forgotten she slammed her book closed, tossed her coins into her pocket then left the Great Hall. She figured she'd make her way to the common rooms & maybe to the dorms for an early night sleep.

The Ravenclaw Table 2019 -2020
David was sitting at the Ravenclaw table. He was looking around at the Great Hall. He felt that he would be at the table of his house. This was going to be a great experience for him. He was listening to conversations from other students in his house. He was a bit shy. He didn't know how to start the conversation in which he was willing to talk. It was at the point that he was listening to other students talking and having conversations. He didn't mind it.
As the time is flying by, he was having a time where he wanted to talk to other students in his house. However, he was not sure how he was going to start the conversation. So he decided to stay quiet for the time being. He thought to himself. "I say, Ravenclaw would be my style of house that I would want to be a part of." He said to himself. He figured that this house would do wonders for him.
There was food on the table for him to eat. He was getting hungry. He decided to pick up some Bertie Boot's Every Flavour Beans and started to eat. He even grabbed some food, such as chicken and some mashed potatoes from for him to eat. He was enjoying his hang out time with other Ravenclaw students there.

The Ravenclaw Table 2019 -2020
Only four days into the school year and already Shauna felt more at home here than she ever has at the place she grew up; she entered the Great Hall for lunch after leaving the library where she was attempting to do some personal research and failing miserably. She sat down with her fellow Ravenclaws; though she was still pretty shy so she stayed to herself for the most part.
Shauna's bag made its way under her seat so she could eat freely; she filled her plate with fresh green salad topped with some chicken and dressing. Her drink of choice was simply water; while she ate she thought about her time in the library...was there something they missed? Maybe something they over looked? All these thoughts and more started to make her head throb as she finished her salad; the table produced a clean plate making her smile a bit.
She made herself an appetizer plate with a bit of everything; it was then that Keesy's words seemed to actually filter into her mind "Perhaps misses last name does not yet exist within the Wizarding community." For some reason this rang out in her mind like a bell though she didn't know why.

Shauna was having a hard time enjoying her lunch because Keesy's words rang through her mind like a bell that wouldn't stop chiming. After only finishing a small portion of her appetizer plate she grabbed her book bag and made her way back to the library.WC: 204

The Ravenclaw Table 2019 -2020
After sitting upon the tall barstool, Cairo felt a large floppy hat rest on his smaller skull which weighed more than Cairo expected. Hearing a loud, booming voice echo throughout the silenced Great Hall, Cairo could only figure that it was the voice of the hat which moved on top of him. Avoiding the judging glances from all of the students who were present in the dimly lighted room, Cairo fiddled with his thumbs nervously as he waited for the Sorting Hat to plan out the fate of Cairo’s next seven years... Not scary at all- right?
Cairo heard a voice say inside of his head which he concluded that was his good conscience or like the angel on his shoulder. Then another voice inside of his head proclaimed,
Sighing with relief, Cairo heard the Ravenclaw students from his new House cheer and shout in jubilation for Cairo’s sorting as if they were actually proud to have another birdling in their midst. Beaming with pride which was something Cairo usually never did, Cairo jumped off the stool and walked carefully over to the Ravenclaw table where people began to welcome and congratulate the young man for his achievement. In that first moment, Cairo felt like the Ravenclaws were the people that he actually would fit in and belong with which excited Cairo much more.
After Cairo spent around his first week at Hogwarts, he felt like it was time to start meeting some of the other Claws over lunch. Heading back to the first monumental place that he visited for the first time, Cairo made his way to the Great Hall for he was famished from a lack of food. Seeing some other Claws sit down at the table, he politely nodded to the students before sitting down with his tray of food.
Deciding to be bold, Cairo turned to the nearest Raven by him and waved shyly with a timid smile for he was quite nervous around people. “Hiii... there! How are you?” Cairo asked nervously to the nearest person by him, hoping that he could make friends even despite of his shy, reserved. behavior.
”It’s just the Sorting. There’s nothing to be worried about!”
Cairo heard a voice say inside of his head which he concluded that was his good conscience or like the angel on his shoulder. Then another voice inside of his head proclaimed,
Cairo concludes that this nervous voice could be from the dark side of his conscience as if it was the devil on his other shoulder. Rolling his eyes and trying to get their opinions out of his head, Cairo decided to focus primarily on the booming voice that was speaking to him.“Oh shut it already! This decision is between the moments of life or death for goodness’ sake.”
Shivering at the thought of the Sorting Hat knowing more about himself then Cairo did, Cairo decided to continue to listen to the magical Sorting Hat, being anxious with his results.Well, well, well! What do we have here? A Hawthorne eh? Hmm... I haven't had one of you Hawthlings around for quite some time. Hmm... You have your family be spread across many Houses so you may be a hard one to select. Hmm...."
"Hmm... now for you Cairo, you are a tricky case for me. There is no doubt that you do not belong in Gryffindor for your strength and valor is quite small. You would be a wonderful member in the Houses of Hufflepuff, Slytherin, and Ravenclaw though for I sense that you are a loyal, kind, honest, seeker of ambition, seeker of wisdom, and a seeker of knowledge. Out of all of these Houses, I believe that you would belong the most to is......
RAVENCLAW!"

The Ravenclaw Table 2019 -2020
Clarissa was anything but pleased. She had just been sorted into Ravenclaw. Ravenclaw. The house of book nerds and study lovers. Sure, she thought of herself as intelligent, but she was worth more than her brain! How could she ever make friends with those boring weirdos?
It didn't mean much, but at least she hadn't gotten Slytherin, like both her parents. She didn't want to be like them. Something inside of her was kind of relieved. They would probably be confused and disappointed that their only child wouldn't continue their Slytherin lineage, and it made her feel like she accomplished something.
With a straight face, Clarissa left the famous barstool and strolled to the Ravenclaw table. Out of the corner of her eyes, she saw the daring Gryffindor table, wearing their red robes with pride and clapping enthusiastically for every new house member. Clarissa hadn't even paid attention to her own house mates yet. She couldn't care less, in fact. The saying that 'your house would become your family' wasn't something Clarissa looked forward to.
During the first weeks, she had scanned the table, analyzing her fellow Ravenclaws, desperately trying to guess who was the least likely to talk to her. Unfortunately for her, everyone seemed to be equally excited about the new school year and she decided that all Ravenclaws were, for now, equally annoying.
She finally took place next to a boy, a first year like her, she wasn't sure, who looked a bit shy and, Clarissa thought, wasn't likely to start conversation soon.
But she was wrong. Clarissa had just settled down when the boy greeted her with a smile and asked about her mood. Couldn't he see she wasn't feeling it today?
She blankly looked at him for a moment, sighed, and replied: “At the moment, hungry. How about you?” At least she wasn't lying. She felt it was better to stay calm and not make unnecessary drama. If there was anything she hated, it was unnecessary things. Such as unnecessary conversations!

The Ravenclaw Table 2019 -2020
Releasing the unsuspecting victim, Pericles swung a long leg over the bench and folded himself into a sit. He smiled all the while, silvery gaze glowing, an irregular flush making his greyish freckles pop. The freshly dubbed Ravenclaw peered 'round at the persons sitting closest, radiating an air of innocent joy while he heralded his fellows. "We've made it!" the boy declared delightedly. Though he did not shout, his tempered tone rang with a gentle elation. Peri's chest rose and fell as he heaved a contented sigh. His wide eyes tried to drink it all in, mild voice managing to carry over the din as he airily observed to any who might listen: "Can you imagine? I wonder if this handsome blue was Rowena Ravenclaw's favorite color. Isn't it odd that the house is called Ravenclaw after her, but the bird on the crest is actually an eagle? D'you suppose she liked eagles? But then, I guess the Gryffindors aren't griffons, and there's nothing very puffy about badgers, either...."The Sorting Ceremony"RAVENCLAW!"
The trip to the regal blue-bedecked table was only a blur in the boy's memory. Those watching would see him walk in a dazed sort of trance, grinning from ear to ear, eyes shining with elation. One of the students reached to offer him a high-five, only for their hand to be suddenly seized and given an overly enthusiastic shake.
The scholarly lad's strange stare continued to wander, settling on no one in particular, seemingly searching. "Has anyone seen The Grey Lady, our House ghost? She was Rowena's daughter, making her the only House ghost directly related to one of Hogwart's founders. Did you know that she was murdered by The Bloody Baron?" This was not necessarily stated as something good, nor bad, but deeply fascinating. "He's the Slytherin House ghost! They were lovers, or, he loved her, I think. He's covered in chains the books say, as a sort of 'penitence' for what he did. Isn't it brilliantly tragic?"
Finally, for the first time since he'd begun his observational ramble, Pericles looked about to acknowledge the other students sitting near him.

The Ravenclaw Table 2019 -2020
Finnian was deep in his thoughts as he sat at the Ravenclaw table, his head feeling heavy as did his best to sort through his rushing thoughts. Ravenclaw? He couldn't help but repeat over in his head, surely there must have been a mistake. Must be another Finnian Loud and their names were mixed up, that's all. But as more students continued to settle in around him, he was forced to let it all sink in, that he was, in fact, a Ravenclaw, whether he liked it or not. It wasn't that he didn't like the idea of belonging to the Ravenclaw house. It was that he knew had no business being in the house that was known to hold the more clever and wise of the students. He groaned, scrubbing his hands along his face before letting them drop into his lap, staring down at the plate of mashed potatoes in front of him. Finn had never felt dumb in his life, but that quickly changed the moment he sat down at the Ravenclaw table, quickly surrounded with chatter he was having a hard time keeping up with. He was slowly pulled from his thoughts, his eyebrows creasing together in confusion as he managed to catch the tail end of the rambling boy beside him. “..Ghosts?” he found himself speaking before he could stop himself, his eyes widening, nobody had told him about ghosts, or maybe they did and he just wasn't paying attention. He couldn’t help the grin that started to pull to the corner of his mouth. “How do you know so much already?” he breathed out through a laugh, meaning no ill will towards the boy, if anything, growing off his excitement.

The Ravenclaw Table 2019 -2020
Pericles' prattling had come to a close just in time to hear that dread-filled groan. His eyebrows leapt while he watched the young wizard besides him scrub his face. Concern and confusion struck him in equal measure, for what did they have to be disappointed about? Trying to apply deduction, the white-haired lad watched the brown-haired boy, seeing the way his crestfallen gaze fell down upon the mashed potatoes. Did he not like mashed potatoes...? "There's butter," he offered abruptly, seemingly plucking the line out of nowhere, and he reached to pass the butter dish as if truly believing it might help.
Peri paused when the word was repeated- Ghosts? "Yes!" he answered enthusiastically, the question coaxing out anther tidbit. "Only us magical folk can become ghosts, or at least, that's what I've read. We're the only ones who can see ghosts clearly, too. If a muggle claims they've seen a ghost, they're probably pretending, or they might be magical without knowing it!" Even had harm been meant by the next question to come, it seemed Peri was too taken with the ceremony to register any negativity at all. He smiled toothily, vaguely flattered, and dropped the volume of his voice as if he were about to confess to breaking some rule or other. "My parents like to collect books. They already had half of the titles from our required school list, so I started reading them as soon as my letter arrived." He hesitated, frowned worriedly, and added at a mumble, "I hope that's allowed. The letter didn't say we needed to wait...."
The studious young wizard perked, quickly coming back from his worry. A rather bony hand was offered out with the casual declaration, "I'm Pericles, by the way. I do hope you like butter, and ghosts, and being in Ravenclaw. This is going to be grand."

The Ravenclaw Table 2019 -2020
After begin sorted in the Ravenclaw house he decided to sat on a spot that was well placed in the middle,as he saw the students serve themself he did the same, choosing not so hot plates and a cup with water because he had no idea what were those other liquids and didn't wanted to risk any chance of getting injured by some purpule, thick drink..
Eating carefully and slowly, time to time he and their fellow Ravenclaw's had to cheer up and clap at the students that were selected in it's house, giving what he recived,a charm and great welcome to the house,it was so exciting!..
Then he started to observe the place he was in, so many food,so many people,so many space yet to be filled with new students and, ghosts?
Actually he was looking at them, one of those waved at him, which, he responsed with a small smile and waved back, however Gabriel started wondering for himself regarding after-life.
After swallowing the food and drinking a glass of water, hoping to recive an answer he started speaking lowly that "if ghosts exists then what am I seeing is their soul?,so does that verifys the existance of some kind of after-life place?,and as a plus this would be their "limbo"?
He started eating what it was left on its plate, but his mind was like
"Gabriel what have you done!"

The Ravenclaw Table 2019 -2020
Rue sat down at the table and looked at her housemates. These kids are probably so much smarter than me... Why did I even get sorted into this house She blinked away the small tears in her eyes and went to serve herself food. She served herself almost everything but a thick, purple drink. She didn't want to get hurt, after all. She grabbed herself some water.
She pulled out her notebook. She looked around for inspiration and caught herself admiring the wood table. She looked at all the crevasses and bumps, wondering who made the table. She started tapping her fingernails on the table. She started drawing the table when a young man, who's name she didn't know, caught her eye. He probably won't want to talk to me... I'm weird. She thought. Even so, she saw an empty space next to him and decided to sit down. She decided not to talk to him, and wait for him to talk to her.
Making sure not to stare, she started to sketch the black-haired boy. She would occasionally glance at him awkwardly for a moment or two, and looked back down. She started to tap her feet on the floor, or take a break to eat and whatnot. She added him to her drawing of the table. Hopefully, he would talk to her soon.
