Lately, Callista had been thinking about her past. More accurately, her Muggle past, which probably wasn't something she should have been thinking about, but she found herself thinking about some of her Muggle friends from when she was younger. And by some, she meant one. The most prominent thing she remembered was the red hair. It's been a long time. They separated a few years before Callista got into Hogwarts. J... J something... She could remember the other girl's face perfectly - dyed red hair, brown eyes, relatively tall, Asian features... but she couldn't recall the name.

Back then, she had been even shyer than she was now, and she wasn't one to approach others. Usually, she was known as "that nerdy girl with her nose in the books", so she hadn't had many friends at all... except for that girl. Her excitement was a pleasurable contrast to Callista's quietness, and although she could sometimes be shy, Callista was always there. Apart from Aurora, who would always be her best friend, the girl was her closest friend.

Of course, after she found out she could do magic, she started to drift apart from the Muggle world, and now that she was at Hogwarts, Callista didn't expect to see any of her Muggle friends. But that's okay. She'll just make new ones. After all, what were the chances of her childhood friend being a Hogwarts student... right?
