Some wish to make a spectacle of everything. Song and dance, the beat of a war drum, the vigorous display of ego or testosterone. While others simply enter with some semblance of dignity and some consideration for their comfort as well as the schedule of others. They left in the early morning hours, after breakfast, the carriage packed the night before. The single carriage could have held more staff and students than this but was merely occupied by those who would attend this visit. It left a great deal of extra room. Space for travellers to preen or rest, to lounge and discuss matters of the day or their impending adventure.

A dozen of Abraxan would draw the richly ornamented carriage. When arriving at Hogwarts castle, the carriage would land in the Courtyard. Some students might already be there, not that they were expecting the courtyard to become an impromptu landing site but there was no risk or danger even if some might experience or express fear. These massive winged horses were well-trained and would cleanly avoid the scattered groupings of students. Ilvermorny and Durmstrang had arrived hours earlier, making Beauxbatons the final school to arrive.

The carriage that housed the students appeared spacious and comfortable, as it was. The exterior, richly ornamented, painted a striking cyan with white and gold fixtures and trim. The carriage would glide to a halt in the court yard. No trumpet would sound. No fanfare. No dramatic display of masculinity. Simply class, sophistication and comfort.

The students were reminded before they took flight that they were not only representatives of their fine institution but also they were to be teachers. The students most familiar with broom racing, they were to share their experience with the other schools gathered here.

Current Song: See You Again
Kit hadn't meant for this song to pop into her head while they were traveling, but it seemed almost inevitable as her thoughts continued back to Helen and Belle.

She was lounging in the carriage, finger twirling itself around the cord of her earbuds. One earbud was in while the other dangled down, no music playing from either. They would likely just emit static if she tried- and the redhead had tried countless times before. Thoughts would travel between quidditch and her sister and school, blue-green eyes glancing around at those around her. There was a faint smile at her lips, only growing wider as the carriage slowed to a stop.

"Déjà? Already? The Abraxans certainly deserve a treat, then." There was a new burst of energy in the girl, happy that she could at least see some of the other schools during her first year. Hogwarts had been her second picked for schools (first being Ilvermorny), but Beauxbatons wasn't too bad. She got to see Belle often enough.

The girl was quick to tuck the earbuds away, storing them safely in one of her pockets. Only then did Kit leave the carriage, shuffling out of the way to allow others to exit as well. Her gaze would quickly shift from whatever scattering of Hogwarts students were there to the castle, taking it all in. The castle certainly seemed older than the Beauxbatons one, despite both seeming to go for a vintage or old look. Were there even modern looking schools of magic? It didn't matter, though, since both of the schools looked excellent in Kit's book.

"Ah bien, qu'est-ce que vous pensez de ce château?" Oh good, what do you think of this castle? The question would be directed towards whomever was close, eyes flicking between the castle itself and the person she had tried to talk to.

Cassie Heather's journey across the Channel hadn't been particularly good, but neither had it been particularly bad. Mostly, the girl was just tired and fed up - several times on the crossing she had waved her phone in the air, hoping for a lost, lone ray of signal, but had been disappointed. The strange looks from the pureblood kids hadn't made anything better. Cassie was one of the first students to get out of the carriage, abondoning the student(s) she had been sitting with if we've talked about a friendship between the two, feel free to have Cassie sit with your character to bound down the steps with a huge grin on her face. Make a good impression, Cassie! she thought to herself, and suddenly something hit her. This was the first time Cassie Heather McGregor-Martin had been back in the UK since she had left it a little under three years ago. In fact, she was pretty sure that the anniversary of her leaving Godric's Hollow would fall while she was at the Scottish castle - how blatantly ironic was that?!
She drew to the side to let the other people out, and nearly bumped into another girl a little taller than her (though that was nothing unusual) and dressed in the same floaty blue traveling outfit that Cassie herself wore. To be completely honest, the muggleborn wished she'd been allowed to wear her own clothes - the Scottish autumn was far colder than the South of France.
The girl said something in French, and Cassie replied, assuming the question had been addressed to her. "It looks like an old ruin," Cassie replied, "But... It's not a ruin. If that even makes sense."
The French witch couldn't help thinking that it looked quite like a place she might have gone to on a school trip, if she had attended a Muggle secondary school. She remembered seeing them on the brochures.
"Beauxbatons is better though," Cassie Heather added as an afterthought - always loyal to the French school for which she raced.

Erin was not in the courtyard when Beauxbatons arrived. She was in the castle watching the comings and goings of the students far below. It was fascinating, watching who spent their time with who. Telling really, how the prefects often congregated together. Most of them death witches or sympathizers. She wanted to know how close these Durmstrang students were with known death witches. If they had an alliance formed with the part giants or midget giants.

She would see the prissy entrance from above. A carriage driven by a team of massive flying horses would land in the court yard. They were impossible to miss and their sudden, unannounced arrival disrupted the collective peace of the scene. It was almost as interesting to see where people ran when there was no more peace. With whom did they seek comfort? Often it defied logic.

Ugh... the French...

She mouthed as she parted from her view of the courtyard. She would make her way to the outdoor space, she did not run but she made haste all the same. She was more interested in the Durmstrang models than the Beauxbatons models, there were more men (and hopefully brawn) in Durmstrang from what little she had observed.

There to greet.

Just a trick of the lighting they said...

Delphine stepped out of the carriage, her head held high. The tall girl always looked like a beanpole in the midst of the crowd of blue, but she couldn't say that it bothered her much. She liked the attention, and she knew that she looked good. This trip to Hogwarts felt like another opportunity for Delphine to dazzle the other schools with her devilish charm and impeccable fashion sense. Not only that, it was like a free vacation. She wouldn't want it any other way.

Delphine stepped out onto Scottish soil, looking up at the large castle that was going to be her home for the next month. She couldn't say that she'd seen anything like it before. Up until very recently, she'd only been accustomed to rolling French hillsides and quaint country villages. Hogwarts was truly magnifique, (although, she knew that her school had to be the best.)

A girl who was on her racing team expressed the same sentiment about Beauxbatons. Delphine hadn't really talked to her before because of how plain she looked, but she figured that striking up a conversation seemed pretty inoffensive. She turned to the girl with a coy smile.

"I don't think they're ready for us." Delphine mused, slinging her purse over her shoulder. She skimmed over the girl with her eyes. She had nice hair and was very short compared to her. But, alas, she couldn't see anything that stood out to her as particularly beautiful. "What's your name? Isn't it Chloe or something?" She asked curtly. While she waited for the girl to respond, she absentmindedly picked the lint from the front of her outfit with her manicured nails. Even if blue was her color, being forced to wear the school robes would be surely be the death of her.

She tugged on the sleeves of her shirt, so they came out nice and even from under her uniform. Hair carefully braided and her items safely stored away, Cassanora hadn't read a single book in the past twenty-four hours. For a multitude of reasons that had not escaped her, she felt nervous about this visit. For two years in a row now, her father had forced her to attend the Beauxbatons Academy in favour of having her close with him over here, in Hogwarts. A place far closer to their home in Ireland and where they at least all spoke English. While she didn't really mind the French and other mix of tongues back in France, it was easy to feel isolated because of it.

"Do you think he will be waiting for me?" She asked her friend, Maddie, quietly. She shot a worried look in her direction before quickly correcting her posture. It was clear the girl was trying to appear perfect, but she felt less than that. Tucking a loose hair behind her ear, her eyes looked down to the floor. She wondered if he would be different here. He was so often away for his job. Perhaps he was an entirely different man here. Seeing her father with a stern face, wasn't something 'nora would forget. Her father was practically carrying the sun on his back most of the time. On the few occasions he was required to put on an angry face, she made sure to remember not to do those things twice. But it would have been very sad to see him as something he's not in this place. Somehow, she hoped this had been a prison for him. That he was looking to come out. A part of her knew this was just the way he did things. Have a stable job, stick to it and provide.

Cassanora clenched her fists. But where did she fit in his life? She pursed her lips as she started sorting all her theories back in their little boxes. A sigh escaped her breath. In the end, she would just be happy to see him. With a composed look on her face she turned back to her friend as they felt the carriage take a halt. "Ready, Maddie?" She smiled as she locked her arm with the other girl as soon as they set foot outside the carriage.

"Hahaa! Look out boys and girls! We're about to land." The Headmaster's tired eyes flared up with excitement as he sported a devilish grin on his wrinkled face. "Mais bien sûr, Mademoiselle Felix. But of course, Miss Felix. They deserve all the love and care in the world." He recalled the recipe very well, single malt whiskey is what Maxime would have given them. While it had been some time since Eugene had travelled by carriage, the years had clearly not subdued his enthusiasm. Though his body wasn't as willing to cooperate after his lengthy lifespan.

The carriage rocked to a halt and Headmaster Monserrac got on his feet. Making sure he was the first one out was important. He and his students were meant to strike as organised, intelligent and graceful. Any less, and they would be nothing else but second to the other three schools present. "Remember children. Teachers. You are teachers to the others." He wiggled a finger in the air as to show the sincerity behind his message. Eugene Monserrac had not lived this long to see his school descend into disgrace. The last thing he would witness is to be branded a hoard of witless, dishonourable and lazy troublemakers. Luckily for him, he seemed to have the idea that his students were none of that. Most of them had their hearts in the right place and weren't afraid to open their minds to the important things in life.

With the flick of his wand and a mutter under his breath, the door swung open as he made his way out. The evening sun would caress his skin as a faint breeze faintly brushed his hair. Closing his eyes before sighing, the Headmaster stood up straight as his two feet found the solid stonework that was Hogwarts. As his gaze opened to take in the view, his mouth was left slightly agape. "Magnifique." He'd whisper to himself. In all the years he had lived, this was a first. What a true pleasure it was for the old man to be allowed to witness such a beautiful sight.

The Headmaster took a few steps forward so the others could step out and most likely take off into the sunset. His cane tapping on the stone tiles, his gaze would meet the eyes of some British students. Giving them a friendly nod, he supposed it was best to wait for one of the hosts to arrive before doing anything else.

𝓢ylvie stepped off of the carriage with a long sigh. Standing in the Scottish highlands was the last place she imagined herself at the beginning of the school, but alas here she was. Travel was good, she reminded herself. Perhaps she could establish more connections while she was here. After all, like her professors had just lectured her about, Beauxbatons students were acting as the teachers here. They were here for a broom racing competition, something Sylvie had been practicing since she began her schooling. At this point, she considered herself to be quite the expert on the subject, though she wasn't actually competing in this broom racing competition. She was simply here...well if she was being completely honest, she didn't know exactly why she was here. But, there was not enough time to dwell on the why's. Sylvie was here now and she had to make the most of her time here.

Sylvie grabbed her trunk and carefully stepped onto the mushy grass of the Courtyard, surveying the area around her. From what it seemed, all of the other schools had arrived, making Beauxbatons the last. This was fine with Sylvie; fashionably late appearances made for the best entrances. Everyone was there and it made it easy to grab the attention of the crowd. Smoothing down her hair, she confidently took a step forward. Sylvie was not aware of what the living situation would be for the next few weeks as there were multiple schools coming to the event. She decided this is what she would try to figure out first. They had been traveling all day and Sylvie was ready to settle in and refresh herself a little bit. Of course, the carriage ride had been quite comfortable, but Sylvie was ready to put her trunk down and unpack. Looking around at the students that were gathered in the Courtyard, a mixture of her fellow classmates and random students she assumed were from Hogwarts, Sylvie searched the crowd for a familiar face. Namely, she was looking for her twin brother Amaury.

The only thing that seemed to make this trip bearable so far was the fact that she was traveling with her best friend and twin brother. Somehow they had not ended up with each other in the carriage so Sylvie searched around, trying to spot his familiar face but to no avail. Where was he? "Amaury!" the French girl called out. "Où es-tu?" Once she found her brother they could settle in and figure out what the hell they were going to do for the next few weeks at this foreign school.

Other: Walk up to André and talk to him. Strike up a conversation or anything, really. I don't mind.
It was surprising. That André hadn't ended up being a misfit at Beauxbatons. He seemed to have quite a different train of thought then most at his school. If anyone were to know what the boy thought they'd realize just how much a troubled kid he is. It was strange no one had been able to connect the dots. Of just how odd André was compared to the other kids. He was a terrible troublemaker compared to the other kids. With his coming late to class.. Or the way he acted around other students. Although to be fair. He got great grades even with being late to class. The professors seemed to care either way, of course. But André didn't have time for this specifically. He shouldn't have bothered. He was now missing out on valuable study time. And for what? He didn't care much about the broom races..

What they were thinking when trusting him to learn magic was beyond André. They should've guessed. The quiet ones were the ones to watch out for. They knew the most. And they knew when to close their trap. Of course, even the quiet ones had to put up an act sometimes. The more you smiled idiotically and said things that only the lesser of this world's population would say. The less they questioned things about you. The less they wanted to know. The easier you'd get by.
. .
. . .
. . . . .
André had taken a bit longer than others to get out of the carriage. Needless to say while his train of thought went on, so did his mouth. Talking to a few of his friends about the broom races. And how there was no chance Hogwarts was going to win. It seemed to hype his friends up slightly who were sitting next to him in the carriage, enough. Cosidering this a job well done, for some reason. He got off the carriage with a head start, leaving his friends to chat as he got an overview of the place. He couldn't help but rolls his eyes at the conversation in the carriage upon hearing it before he walked out. André's eyes instinctively caught the people around him after this. Knowing he wouldn't feel even the slightest bit at ease till he got a feel for the place, and people around him. At least ranking them on the small threat scale he had. Couldn't categorize any of these kids from this school or any of the others yet. Because he barely knew them. No one was to be trusted. But this didn't mean he couldn't deem the lesser of society a lesser threat.

His eyes carefully surveyed the area as he kept to himself. Till he heard a girl speak. "Ah bien, qu'est-ce que vous pensez de ce château?" André decided to speak up as well since he'd only been speaking ill of this[Hogwarts] school minutes before, quietly to hi friends. It was surprising he hadn't got caught, or gotten into trouble for doing such yet. He might as well compliment the design to make up for it. He had to keep up this character as well, didn't he? Even if he didn't feel like talking. "La conception du lieu est tout à fait remarquable." The design of the place is quite remarkable. He commented.

Just then he heard another girl speak up. She was right in the way she described it. Interesting as well. He'd have to strike up a conversation with her. She'd be an interesting one to talk to once they got back to Beauxbatons. He gave a small nod on her, saying Beauxbatons was better. I'd be a lie to say he actually cared at all. He wasn't loyal to anybody. Let alone a school. He didn't take to being a yes man to anything or anyone very kindly. As he wasn't since he had his opinions. He didn't have to speak them to not be a yes man. Now did he? Besides, he was only nodding because he had others watching him. He gave a small sigh. What a day this was going to be.. And whether it was going to be a good or a bad day was to be determined.

Upon the arrival of the third school, Lana had already been over the excitement. Granted, there was little to begin with, though had there been a shed of anticipation, it had since long gone by now.

She was now found to be waiting carefully in the Courtyard, awaiting the moment that the imperious French students would arrive. Despite her certain distaste for the previous Durmstrang and Ilvermorny students, she couldn't help but think she'd enjoy this school more than the others. Perhaps it was because they were the most natural to her, people whom she could actually socialize with and not have the feeling that she was annoyed or confused by their culture. Now that she thought about it- if her parents hadn't of moved to disgusting London in the first place, she would be arriving with the Beauxbaton students as one of their own.

Lana disregarded this thought as she waited patiently, her hands clasped behind her back. There was really no purpose in being here, especially considering the fact that they'd soon hate her immediately after meeting. Though still, something told her it was necessary. She felt as if they had the right to know who she was, and that'd she be around at all times.

So with that, she stared at the sky, ever waiting for the moment their elegant carriages would fly down.
