The Completed Errand

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT:
All preparation threads have been locked for the time-being. These will all be reviewed + checked in the coming days. We will send out rewards to everyone who has completed the tasks.

This is just so we can accurately give out the rewards to people. 

Once we've done so, we will unlock the threads and you'll be able to edit the work or add more. 

If you have not submitted a link to your preparation thread in this thread, please do so in the next 48 HOURS so we can check it.

ANNOUNCEMENT
It is now November, which means we want you to write write write. 50K is a lot of words but it's definitely doable, if you do a little (around 1667) each day. The goal is to write 50K towards the story. If you do finish it, we'd love for you to "publish" it on HiO. 

Our aim is simple: We want to encourage you all to write the novels that you've always wanted to and to get it published here, even if it doesn't go any further. 

We will be writing together on discord. If you're interested in joining the writing sprints, please do! If you have any ideas to help people write (i.e. writing challenges), please feel free to owl or DM me on discord. 

Publishing Your Novel:
Create a thread in the Shelves section of the library. Each post in a single thread can serve as a chapter and the thread as your book. These books will be available for people to read it in character. The author of the books are you - the player - not your characters.

As an extra incentive to help you reach your goals, we have five milestones:

5000 words: 1 HP
15000 words: 1 galleon
25000 words: 1 HP
35000 words: 1 galleon; 1 HP
50000 words: 5 galleons; 1 HP; if the book is finished it will also be posted as a "published" in universe book.

The rewards will be given out in December. Only the words you've submitted by 30th November will count towards the challenge. You may write more afterwards, if you wish.
