Embroidery 101 Errand

Description: At the start of the year, Jensen organised a crafternoon for the Slytherin students to enjoy - a chance to create with cupcakes. It seemed to be rather fun and relaxing for everyone - long before all of the hell started. On that day, she had started working on pillow embroidery pattern with a snake to decorate the common room a little. It was not something every student knew how to do, which was why most ended up picking another task. But it was something she enjoyed and she figured she could, at the very least, introduce them to the act of embroidery if that was something they might enjoy.

The start of the year, children were filled with so much more hope. A hunger to acquire new knowledge and a desire to just enjoy their school life. So much had happened since, of course. It pained her heart that that was the case but it was. Deciding to go back to those times, Jensen figured she would set up some embroidery sessions to give people a chance to learn how to embroidery.

Students will be shown some basic techniques and encouraged to make a little panel that they can give as a gift to send to their family or friends. They could also make something for themselves if they preferred. The completed designs could be turned into something fun, such as a brooch, a keepsake, a wrist cuff or even a lavender sachet depending on the size. Jensen will help students to do this.
