Letters to the Unknown
Experiments. She loved experiments. Experiments were an essential part of any research. And she also loved talking to an interesting person.Participants:

Late Morning
The experiment was called "Letters to the Unknown". It was like a blind pick — you don't know who the person is, or how the person looks, or how the person sounds. That was a thing about the Internet — muggles' invention, which was global. Her father and herself spent quite a lot of time researching the Muggle Internet and it was pretty fascinating. You never know who was on the other side. So that would be her own personal Internet.
She wanted to start it all simple. If the other person would never write back, she'd send another letter until she'd find another one. She folded her letter neatly and put it in a special envelope. Actually, nothing special, but it just had no name on it.
She stood on the last steps right in front of the Owlery entrance. If she'd have her own owl, then it would be much easier, but she didn't have one yet. She'd prefer a cat, to be completely honest.
The pretty owl was sitting right next to the entrance as she stepped in. That was a sign and she loved it from the first second. As if the owl was already waiting for her. She smiled to the owl and scratched its back between the wings.
"I have a very important task for you, though quite an unconventional one," she kindly said to the owl and made the eye-contact, making sure the owl will understand, "I need you to deliver this letter to a completely random student out there. Completely. Random," the owl screeched and turned its head to the side as if asking whether Meenauh was insane or just not feeling well that day.
She put the letter in front of her and showed the owl there was no name on it, just two words: "To You".
The owl looked at the letter. And then at her. Right into her eyes. And then on the letter again, and her next action seemed like pushing it away, though it could be just a coincidence.
"Oi! Aren't you supposed... Oh, okay, so you indeed need some destination. I mean, like a person. Okay, fine then," she took the envelope, came closer to a glassless arch in the tower and pretended she was going to throw the letter away, "If you're going to play like this, I'm going to just throw it away. No bluffing."
The owl looked at the letter, hanging outside and held just by two fingers. Owls turned out to be a bit resistant to blackmailing, so the owl just turned her back to Meenauh. Just at the same very moment, the wind kicked out the envelope from Meenauh's hands and it calmly floated in the air, slowly making its way down. Meenauh gasped and leaned from the arch window to see where it was going, but it flew over the roof and was gone.
"Happy?" she addressed it to the owl, but actually to herself, "Seems now it will be actually random."
Meenauh threw her bag over the shoulder and retreated from the Owlery to make it to the next lesson in time.
