Cleaning up a Mess Detention

Gaging Lily turned to watch the professor leave and walk down the steep stair case. Lily most definitely didnt want to clean this Disgusting mess up, but she had no other option but to cooperate with the punishment she had been given. Twirling around to examine the horrible mess she were to clean up, she found it to be littered with strand pieces of paper and drops of excess black ink. Crouching under one of the tables she found more gum then someone could ever imagine, they were all different types of colors, orange,purple,blue,white,and some even had rainbow designs. Lifting herself up from the bottom of the desk,she looked to Jane for somthing to say but Lily was suddenly a loss of words. Taking a deep breath before starting on the discussing room that could even pass for an Owlery.
“What are you going to start on Jay?” Lily asked her friend, not bothering to turn around to look at them. Lily could already guess that Jay was probably not enjoying this anymore than Lily was. Continuing with her work, Lily started quickly picking up stray pieces of papers that students had cast aside. Most of the papers had nothing on them but she had found three or four with beginning’s on them that had been crossed out. She had even found one letter from Russia, she had never really been there but she brother Andy had, and he had always told her stories about his trips, including the ones to Russia. Actually Lily had never even been out of Brazil, she hadnt even left the maner her family owned. Turning around to make sure nobody was watching she grabbed the letter from Russia and folded it into the pocket of her robe. Leaving her long trail of thoughts behind she continued to clean the disgusting owlery.

Jay couldn’t stand it, last time they went to the owlery it only smelled of cold and emptiness. There were very few owls and that day... they got terrible news from their guardian. Jay then quickly then started to think of something else as the proffesor finally left.

Clean this stuff the muggle way? Ugh, anyways they weren’t taught any spells for cleaning so far in the year. Jay sighed as they looked around the room, there was black ink spilled all over the desk and it was all simply just a mess. Do students here really act like animals? They turned to Gray, “I honestly don’t know, everything is disgusting,” they said, but the quicker they both cleaned the quicker they could get out. This was their fault. It was their idea in the first place to go to the forest, but it was Lily Gray who wanted to continue when they stopped. Getting eaten by some monsters in the forest was definetly much better than detention. Although they would very much rather be lost in the forest than cleaning this.

“I guess I’ll start with the walls...” Jay said then taking a rag and cleaning the scat off the walls near the window. 

After cleaning the desk up lily turned to grab the none magical broom and started sweeping the floor. The floor was covered in dust, and somehow there was sand up here too. Pushing everything into a pile Lily swept it into a tray and carried it over to the bin to throw away. Setting the broom down Lily grabbed a rag and started helping Jay with the skat covered walls.
“How gross!” Lily gagged, someone had carved their names into the frozen bricks along with their lovers, how disgusting. Running her fingers over the names she laughed at how stupid someone could be, love was dangerous and these long forgotten students had belived in it...arrogant. Rolling her eyes, she carried on helping Jay with the walls. Moving further up the wall toward the window she started to scrub. Lily could see students outside, they were laughing and talking with their friends...and I was cleaning a dirty skat wall with my friend.
“ What do we have left to do Jane?” Lily stared at Jay waiting for their response to her question, lily and Jane had already cleaned everything, they just had to finish the last wall, and then they would be done.

There was only the owl cubbies that were left. “Ugh... Back at my manor there would be some stupid muggle kids that would always sneak into my garden and carve their names into the apple tree,” Jay said as the memory entered their mind. Jay had just been eight and they were looking out of their bedroom window when they saw a couple jump over the bush-fence. Whenever the couples were there they would always carve their names into the poor apple tree, once their guardian caught two guys making out and he  scared the gayness out of them... jay was actually entertained by what he did though...

“Wow, I guess we are desperate to finish this detention. So um... I guess we just have to clean the empty cubbies,” Jay said as they realized that Grey and them cleaned most of the owlery quite fast. There were a few owls in some of the cubbies and Jay didn’t want to bother them which is why Jay just wanted to clean the empty ones... Anyways it would reduce their work. Jay suddenly gasped as they saw a black note on the floor. They had dropped it that day! Without trying to look suspicious Jay grabbed the note and acted like it was a bubble gum wrap and shoved it into their pocket. They could then feel a certain wanting to tear up but jay stopped themself. The note was not important at the moment, if Sir Victoria was on the run he would be fine. He was smart and resourceful. He was a amazing dark wizard. He’s fine... 

Jay then started to scrub the cubbies with strength.
