What's a Tent without... PV Closed

Opeila could beat herself for wha she was doing there. What sort of destructive idea was this even, inviting Vladimir Athanatos into her tent? She had talked about it with one of her other tentmembers, but that was just a bad idea, no matter from what way she looked at it.
If the tent would end up filled with spiders...

At least she didn't have to worry about what Professor Jensen would think- Her head of house disapproved her anyway. And didn't Professor Browne ask her to be his spy? And didn't that annoying D'Spacito guy ruin her opportunity to interrogate him at the ball? Alright, maybe it would be hard as well with a full tent at hand, but... she had more time, right? And there was the chance to have an eye on Vladimir. If he was planning something, that meant.

The ball had changed her view on him a little. Yes, it was possible that he let the spiders in, a theory she still had no prove for. Yes, he had said things to scare her, and she was sure that he had done it deliberately. But it had been Rafa, who attacked him. And Willow. And Selim, although he had just used an opportunity, so it didn't really count. So if anything, her view on Rafael and Willow had changed negatively. Vladimir had not done anything bad that evening except attacking Willow, something- as much as Opeila liked her- the little Hufflepuff had basically asked for.

She would just send this letter and wait. He still had to say yes, right?
The Slytherin had spent some time over this note, not sure how to word it, after their last meeting, that she still refused to call a date.
Dear V
Hello

Vladimir,

I haven't heard from you since the ball went down in literal flames. I hope you are alright. After our last meeting didn't go so well, I hoped there would be another opportunity to talk to you and with summer camp approaching, it looks like there is.
I share a tent with a few others and I hoped you might want to join us, although I would totally understand if that is not the case, given the way some of my friends (yes, and me too, although I had no hand in stealing the bag from you) behaved towards you. I could add a whole lot of worthless apology here, but that might be a waste of space, not to mention probably end up with a hundred more scratched and corrected lines. You knew from the beginning that I only wanted to meet you to ask you questions, understood in a second that I had both of us watched. But if there is one thing that I saw, it is that it was the others, who attacked and not you. To be completely honest with you, I still don't trust you. I can't, at least not as long as I know one thing. But I am not gonna set you up like that again, so here is it: Did anything happen on the day we met? Something that was not meant for my eyes? Victor mentioned you when I asked him about the spiders. He said that it was you, who ratted them out to the rest of their house. Why?
I have no right really to ask anything from you and if this questions get you into trouble, you will surely not answer them in your answer, if you decide to answer even, but I have been honest with you in this letter. I want the lies and possibly untrue suspicions to end.
See it as a peace offer, if you like and feel free to turn it down. Still I would be happy, if

Best wishe
See you s

She was not happy with the note. Too many scratched words, but she knew that every attempt of a letter would end similar, she had no idea how to actually talk to the boy now.
Opeila tied the letter to the leg of one of the school owls and watched it leaving the tower until it was out of sight.

@Vladimir Athanatos
