Anonymous Letter Left:Owlery Edition

Her first letter was left in the library. She chose the location because it was one that she, an outcast, a loner, often found herself frequenting. Another place she spent a lot of time was the Owlery. It wasn't that she loved the owls or the ambience of the place but that she spent a lot of time writing letters that never got sent, letters to her father where she wanted to explain things and demand that he still love her, beg that he still be proud of her, hope that he still acknowledge her, and dreaded that he'd disown her.
It was here in the Owlery that she had many meltdowns and could use a kind word. Professor Caradoc Browne had once said she wasn't alone in her feelings, so if others were out there, maybe a letter could help even just to brighten a dark day.
Her notecard was already written earlier in her dormitory that day, so all she had to do was leave it there. She tucked it under one of the ink wells so that a gust of wind wouldn't carry it away or drop it to the floor.
Dear Finder:
Hello to you and thank you for coming across this note. It is intended for you. Yes, YOU! It doesn't matter who you are at this school or in this world, we could all use a bit more kindness in our lives. Please continue reading. If this is of some value to you, keep it and write another to put in it's place. If it's not of any value to you, I ask that you kindly set it down and be on your way. Trust me, not everyone is lucky enough to have thoughtful words thrown their way on a daily basis.
If you're anything like me, you've stopped here many times to try and collect your thoughts, perhaps writing to family with words you fear they'll dread hearing. Maybe you're afraid to tell them about a received mark in a certain class, went against them in a life decision and imagine their disapproval. No matter what it is, you're not alone. Families can be difficult and family problems can be very painful. I cannot give much more on the subject and if I could, I'd have solved my biggest life dilemma. But remember, you are not alone, and you've been given time to figure everything out. Maybe the answer won't come today, or tomorrow, but we learn and we grow and someday there will be light to the darkness.

OOC Note: [Alina doesn't realize that she actually possess quite a bit of Hufflepuff qualities and eventually will be called out on it. It's through things like this that others will really start to see it. I have her using the same type of notecard and the same first paragraph for this reason too. In her mind, she just thinks of it as 'her mark on it.' However, the second paragraph of all her notes of kindness go on to different aspects. Her one in the Library talks about how the reader matters, the one in the Owlery is to help with family issues that one might have when writing home, and the one in The Great Hall is to help with a lack of friends and loneliness. Below, I've included the word count with the first paragraph removed, and this message excluded as well.
Word Count without the repeated section: 328
Let your confidence shine, pretty girl.
