Owls Are Still Scary Solo Closed

Willow had only seen owls from down below while they existed up in the treetops, and she could count how many she's seen on one hand. To go up to a whole room of them is terrifying, but she missed her parents dearly and wanted them to know she was doing ok.
Dear Mom and Dad,

These first few days at Hogwarts have been quite overwhelming so far. I had to take a boat to even get to the school! We were sorted into these things called houses, and I got into Hufflepuff! Their mascot is a badger, and everyone in the house so far is so kind in helping all the 1st years adjust.

I'm going to be taking classes at this school that I never would've dreamed of taking they're completely different than the classes at home like arithmetic, and english and stuff. Defense Against the Dark Arts, Herbology, Astronomy, all kinds of fun stuff!

I really do miss you both already, and I hope you two are getting on without me well. I think about you two often and how amazing you would think this castle and the people in it are. I'm so grateful that you are letting me experience this, even though it means being away for years. So far, I wouldn't trade this experience for anything (even though its only been three days).
