It’s nice to hear from you, thank you for keeping in contact where I have failed. It seems my hectic schedule has made it difficult to keep in contact with people who I don’t already see in my classes. I hope you’ll forgive this misstep in social conduct.

With that aside, it brings me joy to hear that you’ve made it on to the Quidditch team. It almost sounds as though it was something you were coerced into, are you sure this is what you want to be doing? If so, I will certainly cheer for you from the stands. There are already a great number of Gryffindor Quidditch players that I admire, so I worry I may be even more excited for a Gryffindor win than a Slytherin one. Please be kind enough not to tell anyone that. ♡

As for me, there is really nothing to tell. I am still on the waitlist for Quidditch myself, and may be there for the rest of my school career. It may be for the best, since I’ve been kept busy trying to help put together the fall ball. There are others doing so as well, but with all the major schools visiting it’s been a lot to account for. Still, I think it will go off without a hitch. I hope you’ll end up enjoying yourself there as well. I can promise that it won’t be anything like the Blossom Ball, it’s school sanctioned and perfectly safe. I’d be grateful if you also reassure others of that as well, balls have such a bad reputation these days.

I look forward to seeing the game in October! Whether you get the chance to play or not, I hope you’ll enjoy yourself. If you have any reason to not want to play, don’t let yourself feel pressured. I’ll be wishing you luck either way.

Dear Flash,

you wrote back fast! Don't worry about this please, we have both been fairly busy and as you said having different schedules and after school activities tends to make arranging something fairly impossible. Especially with having even more subjects. However it should be easier now that we are back at the school, at least a little bit. I hope we get to hang out after class occasionally.

Also don't worry, I think it will be really fun. I like flying and so far I also enjoyed the bit of practice we had. The only thing that worries me is falling off the broom by getting hit by a bludger, it just sounds really painful. They are balls of metal after all. I will just have to make sure that I am faster than their aim! Your secret is safe with me! I am happy you will be there to cheer for me that calms me down greatly.

I will make sure to spread the word about the ball! It is amazing that you get to be part of the organization committee. I hope this is more fun than it sounds, as it sounds quite complicated. Then again it kind of fits to you and sounds like something you would enjoy doing. I will be there, don't worry! I have yet to find a perfect outfit, but I already have a couple of ideas for that. Thank you for your gracious kindness, I'm glad you hear that you're looking forward to it. It will make it all the more fun to watch the game. After you told me about it, I went and asked around. The teams have all been changing a lot since the Dueling Club started recruiting for members. I intend to spectate the duels as well, I like any good competition. Perhaps you would like to join a time or two to watch that as well? You are always pleasant company.

That said, all of the Quidditch teams are quite different now because of that. Willow is no longer playing, as well as a few of my other friends. I wonder what the teams all look like now, whether they are all prepared to play? I think there will be a lot to absorb by watching as many games as I can, though I doubt I'll be able to make every single thing. With Quidditch, Dueling, and Broom Racing, one has to draw the line somewhere.

As for the ball, I don't know if it fits me or not, but my mother puts quite a lot of them, so I at least know what to expect for the most part. I also have a lot of help, the teachers and staff are involved as well. I hope when you come you'll be enjoying yourself. Are you planning to go to the masquerade or the costume party? If you want fun, I would suggest the latter, but if you're interested in dancing, the former. We wanted to make it accessible to different kinds of celebrations. I'll be at the masquerade myself, because of my experience. I almost forgot the part where I had to present myself as well as represent the school. I have a good idea for who I would like to invite, so wish me luck, I shall write that letter next. Do you plan on inviting anyone with you? Going as a group?
