I don't know how you think about all this, but I am growing tired of this conflict.
As I assume that this is still based on what I said in the bathroom, I am going to explain you my point of view in that situation,
You saw the note in the common room and I was the first, who arrived in the bathroom, soon followed by two of the boys, who threatened Victor. That was likely the reason he hid in there. So it was me and Burnett who stood between the two others and Victor. I talked to him, asked him a few questions and I felt like I was getting through to him, he told me things. And then you walked in and demanded everyone's attention, reminding us of your position.
Correct me if I am wrong- but your task as a prefect is to keep us from breaking rules or punish us if we do and basically be the Slytherin spokesperson next to the head of house, right? But you are no professor. You are still a student and I don't see, why the basic rules of civilized conversation shouldn't apply to you as well.
That was followed by you commanding Dan Palmer and me to search the school for a possibly dangerous student, which is as well beyond the privileges your position gives you, right? This was the only reason, why I called you out on your reaction to- I guess that someone was bleeding. That was admittedly a childish reaction from my side, I was very frustrated and irritated.
But I don't hold grudges very often and if I do, I don't show them openly.
As you might have noticed at the party after curfew, it is not my intention to get you in trouble. My anger is gone, but it seems that yours is not. I don't want you as an enemy, especially not in times like those, where our all survival might depend on all of us working together. So let's talk it out.
To come back to your demand back in the bathroom, that we told you what was going on, yes, I believe that I know some things. And yes, I am totally willing to share them with you, but with you. Not the prefect I met in the bathroom.
An advice from my side in general, take your time to ask kindly and respect if people need time. Making demands while pointing at your badge will not get you informed, but it will only get you enemies.
