Dear mom and dad,
How are you? I'm really sorry that lately I haven't been sending as many owls as before, but school and homework had started to be quite intense, and I've been spending most of my time studying for my classes. Aaron is fine, thanks for asking! How are Alli's archery classes going, did she kill anyone yet?
I'm kidding! But I still can't believe you're really letting her have a bow and arrows, but I guess at least she's learning how to properly handle them.
I have to admit that I have another reason to write this letter to you now.
Since, as I said, school has been particularly hard lately, I have decided to spend my Easter holidays here, at Hogwarts.
I know! I know! I will miss the big Easter lunch and Grandma's birthday, but I don't want to risk failing any class for a lunch with all of the extended family.
I hope both you and Grandma will understand.
Please, give a super mega big hug and kiss to Alli, and to Grandma as well, and please, know that I'm really sorry that I won't be able to come home.
I'm so so so so sorry mom, and dad as well.
I love you guys so much!!!!!

Love,
Lydia.

Drea miláčik,

when your mother told me that you were not coming home for the Holidays I have to admit, my heart broke a little. I thought that in these years your parents and I had taught you that family is the most important thing in the world, and that traditions are the basis of our lives. I hope you are not mistaking my words; I am incredibly proud of how studious and intelligent you are, I can only imagine how difficult it must be for you to keep your good grades.

But.

I am disappointed.

Easter is a really important holiday for us, miláčik; we have always celebrated it, together, no matter what. The other members of the family, that travelled from all around England and even France were so excited to see you again, but you decided not to come.

Now, I know that your mom will need some time to be convinced, and I know I've always been the "cool" Grandma, but the time has come for me to put my foot down, and become the "evil" guy here. I believe that integrity and promises are what make a person's reputation, and you, sweet darling, broke your promise.
This is why, and again, I don't like being the bad guy, this summer, once you will be done with Hogwarts, you will spend a couple of weeks at home, before spending the rest of the summer with me in London.

Hopefully this time will give us the opportunity to bond some more, and for you to understand how much family means to us.

I hope you'll have a delightful Easter, miláčik.
Grandma loves you.

With a lot of love,
Grandma Marie.

Dear Babka1,
How are you?
I'm sorry I have missed Easter and the rest of the family and... I'm sorry for everything else.
I understand why you want me to spend some time with you this summer, and I think it will do me good to be around you for a little bit.

I wanted to thank you, for persuading Mom into letting me join the Summer Camp (Yes, I know it was you that made her change her mind about it). I know I do not deserve it, but I'm still extremely grateful for this, Grandma.

So yeah, Ďakujem2!

If I'm being completely honest though... there's also another reason for why I'm sending you this letter. In a couple of weeks it will be the birthday of a frie Ra one of my closest friends, and I wanted to get him something for the occasion, but of course because of the Summer Camp, I won't be able to do that.

Do you remember that little café on Heath Street, right next to the Church? I know that they sell "personalised" coffee blends, and I wanted to get one for this friend Rafael (the friend I was talking about). I already know how the blend should be, and all you would have to do Grandma, is to go there, tell them how I'd like the mix of coffee beans, and then send it back to me before I leave for camp. (Of course I would give you back every pound you will spend for it, I promise!)

I know this is really short notice, but I just got the time, between packing and the exams, to sit down and write to you.

Sooo, the coffee mix should be:
• definitely strong (as intensity and taste)
• something that would work well with milk, but it's not necessary
• not sweet
• more of a nut taste, rather than chocolate or fruit
• something bold, and unique
Also, I know that they usually close the bags with a little wooden pendant, that one can eventually wear as a necklace. Since I can't be there to chose it, could you ask for the lion one?

Thank you so much Babka1,
it means a lot to me!

I can't wait to see you again!
Lots of love and hugs,
Lydia.
