Well this was unexpected. Very.

Cecelia Queen sat near a bed in the Hospital Wing. The bed was occupied by a Griffyndor girl.

Earlier, Cecily had been wandering around the Hogwarts castle wanting something to do. This was a very rare thing for Cecily. Usually, she was busy studying, reading, sketching, or writing. But today was different. Cecelia wanted a break from everything, although she didn't quite know why. It was unlike Cecily to be like this. Usually, she would always take every moment she had to go study or do something productive, which is why Cecily felt very weird today. But her mind was begging her for a break, and her body was tired from sitting down studying or reading all the time. Cecily was going to go outside, but it looked far to cold out for her to go out there. Cecelia usually loved the cold weather, but today felt different. She couldn't figure out what was going on with her, but she had studied a lot lately, and didn't need to do any more homework.

Then while Cecily had been walking, not really going anywhere in particular, she saw a girl on the ground. She seemed to have fainted. When Cecily had seen this sight, she froze, looking around for someone else to deal with the situation. She never liked to handle those kinds of things, but there was no one else where they were, and Cecily couldn't just leave this girl here.

After taking a deep breath, Cecily had lifted the girl on her feet with all her strength and had put her arms around her shoulders. Cecelia was not very strong, so thankfully the Hospital Wing was not very far away.

"She's fainted," Cecily had said as she entered the Hospital Wing. The girl was put on a bed at once and was treated with care.

After thinking about her expirence, Cecily snapped back to reality and turned her attention back to the girl.

"You'll be alright. Don't worry."

I do hope she's alright. It must have been such a horrible expirence to faint. She must have been dehydrated. I can understand that, if she studies a lot. Cecily thought.

Cecily did know how it felt to be a little bit dehydrated. Because Cecily studied so much she never thought about having lots of liquids. Thankfully, Cecily never fainted, but always felt lightheaded and tired.

The Ravenclaw girl smiled at the girl in the bed. Maybe after she recovered a little they could get to know each other. If Cecily was right about her being dehydrated, then that most likely meant this girl studied a lot. Cecily had always dreamed to meet a person who loved studying just like her.

Never in a million years did she expect to be accommodating the Gryffindor student, Aurelia. Sure, she had helped Aurelia destroy her Forgetfulness Potion out of the morality of her heart, but even she had gotten into trouble for doing something beneficial for someone she loathed. To be truthful, she didn't know if she absolutely hated Aurelia, or if she had been restraining her from doing something idiotic like a sister. In a way, she was sort of helping her family out. Perhaps her subsequent owl would go to the hometown of Aurelia.

It was a typical day for Emma until she recognized a Gryffindor student. Of course, she wouldn't have dared to skip classes and receive another load of work provided by the professors, but for this period, she had no classes. She was free to do anything, and of course, that had to be traveling down to the library to receive her next book. Exiting the Charms classroom down to the library, she looked up from the ground only to find another Ravenclaw hoisting the anonymous student on to her shoulders. Somehow the brown hair looked inexplicably familiar as if she had seen it before. Undoubtedly, she decided to stay put and observe them as they migrated to the Hospital Wing. At least, that's what she had assumed, there couldn't have been another murdering child undiscovered inside of Hogwarts, right? She sure hoped so.

Only a few seconds later after the doors had automatically closed themselves, the brunette arrived, bursting through the doors and looking around for the pair she had witnessed moments ago in the passageway.

"Is she alrig -" She asked, stopping abruptly as she distinguished the collapsed student. Of course, to her utter surprise, it was none other than the Gryffindor herself, Aurelia. Heaving a deep sigh, she slid on to the nearest vacant bed and looked down at the Ravenclaw and then to the Gryffindor. The Ravenclaw also looked a tad familiar, from the common rooms, of course studying and reading like half of the students. Her face worried as if it were her own loved one, thankfully it wasn't. This was the exact opposite.

She couldn't leave the room, or else that would make her look disrespectful and despicable, and frankly, that wasn't her. Though she didn't enjoy lying, it was something that she couldn't exactly stop herself from doing. The words just flowed out of her mouth, sometimes without even being fully aware. Unfortunately, this was one of the times she'd be forced to lie her way through their presence. "What on earth happened?" She managed to get out of her mouth, supressing a small frown. These potions were getting way out of hand, but would she be able to stop it with her permission? She didn't think so, but it never hurt to try.

For the second time in the year, she was stuck with another Ravenclaw and the same, old Gryffindor. It hadn't even been fully five minutes, yet Emma could feel her impatient demeanor beginning to get in.

It had began with the pestering grumble in the girl’s stomach but Aurelia had simply ignored it. She was used to feeling hungry. On busy days like these when she was bustling about the corridors, Aurelia crammed her lunch into a measly 5 minutes. However today, something came up and the girl was held back, therefore, she resulted into not have a bite at all.

The twelve year old did not think that was much of an issue given that she had multiple days where she had skipped her meals and was just fine. Aurelia had an interview in about 5 minutes and was making her way to the library where it was arranged to be. But as she was walking down the corridor, there was a strange feeling in her head, much like the floor was tilting to the side then the other side. The young girl hadn’t known what was happening before it became all dark and she collapsed.

Aurelia blinked, there was hushed voices around her. Where was she? Like always, she looked at her hands, nope, there wasn’t an empty vial in it which meant she hadn’t taken a dose of Forgetfulness potion. However, Aurelia could remember why she was lying on a bed. One of the voices around her sounded too familiar, she certainly heard it before. The girl began to move, attempting to plop herself up on the arm, but even as she did, there was the strange feeling of dizziness.

The Hospital Wing was a room Aurelia had visited a few times but not that school year. She must have passed out, for what reason she didn’t know. The girl looked around, upon seeing the familiar face of Emma, a frown formed on her face.

It was you wasn’t it?” The girl asked, her tone rising slightly. Emma must have jinxed her or played a prank on her. Emma was always one fire mischief, especially the time when she attempted to destroy her vial of potion in the potions classroom.

Then the girl suddenly jolted up from the bed to her feet. “What time is it?” she asked. No, she could have possibly missed that interview.

Another girl came in to the scene. It was a Ravenclaw girl whom Cecily recognized from the Ravenclaw Lock-In. Cecelia was a little lost for words as the girl burst in, wanting to know if the Griffyndor girl was alright and what had happened.

Cecily was lost for words because she didn't really know what to tell the Ravenclaw girl. She didn't truly know if the girl in the bed was alright, as the girl hadn't woken up or anything.

"I d-don't know honestly," Cecelia stammered, trying to think of what to say. "I found her just outside. She had fainted. Do you happen to know her?"

Perhaps if this Ravenclaw girl had known her she might know what her schedule was like and if she had rarely gotten anything to eat or drink.

Then, the Griffyndor began to stir. She sat up, and looked around in confusion.

“It was you wasn’t it?” the girl remarked rather boldly.

The girl actually seemed alright. Well, fainting wasn't the worst thing ever, but it still required some recovery time. This girl seemed to be somewhat alert and to know what was going on.

Her words had puzzled Cecelia, however. What did she mean? Was she talking about the other Ravenclaw girl? Did they know each other? They must, if she had accused her of doing something.

What was more is the girl sat bolt upright as if she had woken up late. She was asking what the time was.

The time? Cecelia was not expecting her to ask what the time was. If Cecelia was in the Hospital Wing she would have asked what had happened and how long she would be there. But the time? Did this girl have to be somewhere?

Cecily frowned at the girl and said, "Come to think of it, I actually don't know, but why do you want to know?"

It really was true. Cecelia didn't know what the time was, as she had forgotten all about it while getting this girl to the Hospital Wing. Unsure what else to do,
Cecelia decided to introduce herself. These two girls probably already knew each other, and it would be awkward if she didn't, right?

"It seems that you two know each other. I guess I'll introduce myself. I'm Cecelia. But you can call me Cecily, if you want."

She left it at that, thinking that the two girls probably didn't even care what her name was in this situation.

"I... I..." Emma stammered though she forced a small laugh, looking for an excuse to keep her promise she found herself in just a few months ago. It was so much easier back then, why was now anymore different? Perhaps the status of head writer was one, or even the fright of her next move. She didn't lay a finger on to her, yet she couldn't help but to fork the truth out of her mouth, perhaps even slightly breaking her promise. "I've had a few encounters with her, well, enough to know what may have happened at least."

Sudden movements erupted from the bed, and she felt her pounding heart migrate to her head. Her timing was impeccable, possibly even a bit abnormal for even her age. Throwing a glance behind to look at the door, the few patients, and of course the nurse, she tried her best to distract her wandering mind.

That is, until she was called out.

Pausing briefly, she opened her mouth to speak but nothing came out. She watched as Aurelia had the strength to make it up to her feet and spit another question, though this one didn't seem to be directed towards her. Out of all the things, the time was her most concern. Anything, from 'how did it happen' to 'thank you for being concerned' would have been nice, but of course not. She'd expected nothing less.

Instead of answering the first question, she turned to Cecilia and smiled weakly. If she was being honest, she didn't know if Aurelia was delusional or if she just wanted to do put the blame on her purposely. "It is great to properly meet you, Cecily. Although, I have no idea what she means. You see, we've had our ups and downs in... previous encounters with each other. Emmaline, by the way, but can call me Emma if you'd like to."

She sat, clicking her noisy pearl bracelet distracting the urge to leave, and certain words from leaving her mouth. It was at this point, she didn't exactly know what to do. She didn't know if it was right to confront her, or frankly just to leave without another word. It was always the right thing to do, but it wasn't the most satisfying.

Turning back to Aurelia, she smiled a bit. Though it wasn't hard to detect the deceit look she wore, and she didn't dare hide it. "You should lay down you know. What on earth could be more important than your own health?"

The sudden movement or jerking up caused her head to spin. The floor she was standing on felt like it was moving to the side then to the other. Te twelve year old stumbled a bit but held on to the bars of the cot to support herself. What exactly happened. Surely it must have been a jinx.

I’m not laying down and wasting anymore of my time,” Aurelia said when Emma suggested she did. Emma wasn’t one who would care of her own well-being. The girl was always up to no good.

Do you know how hard it is to get an interview with a sixth year? ” The girl asked her words heaving with annoyance. Older years were always so busy studying for their critical exams months before. Getting one to agree to sit down in order for her to ask a few questions took about a month’s effort. Now that opportunity was gone just because she who-knows-why, ended up in the hospital wing.

Cecily, the name sounded familiar but Aurelia couldn’t quite wrap her head around it, perhaps it’s because she just woke up. Still, she wanted to find out how she got into that situation in the first place and if Emma had anything to do with it. “Why am I here?” she asked, sitting back down. The older year would probably already have left the library so that was that.

Emma's stuttering made Cecelia a little suspicious. Was she hiding something? Perhaps she and the Griffyndor girl were on bad terms with each other. That would explain why the girl accused her of something.

Cecily shook it off, however, as the Ravenclaw politely introduced herself. She simply nodded at Emmaline, with nothing to say.

Emmaline. What a beautiful name, Cecelia thought to herself.

It was an ravishing, charming name. She kept her eyes on the Ravenclaw until the other girl spoke boldly again. Wasting her time? Didn't this girl know what it was like to be sick? Or to have fainted, for that matter? The girl clearly thought she was okay after a few minutes of resting, but she was not. This was probably because she had other things to do. Cecelia opened her mouth to retort, but closed it, not wanting to get into an argument. She looked at the floor instead.

When the Griffyndor spoke again, telling the two she had gotten an interview with a sixth year, Cecelia's head jerked upwards. An interview? So that is where she had to be? But... after she had fainted? Cecelia couldn't imagine having an interview after she had fainted. She probably couldn't even think straight! Cecily cocked her head at the girl as she asked why she was there. She definitely needed to be told what had happened, and why she needed to stay there. This girl had to be firmly told she had to rest, even if there was an interview or not. Clearing her throat, Cecily spoke fearlessly to the girl.

"Look. You fainted. It wasn't Emma's fault at all, alright? So you can stop inculpating her, please. And if you have an interview, then you'll have to miss it. I'm sorry, but Emma is right. Your health matters more, and besides, I'm sure you wouldn't be able to think straight in the interview since you passed out." Cecily stopped speaking there. No other explaining was needed. She had made her point to the girl and could only hope that this girl took her words into account.

Emma kept her eyes on the delusional Gryffindor, her hands fridgeting with her bracelet wildly to busy her wandering mind. It worried her that the was a slight chance she could be explled from the walls of Hogwarts for something she hadn't even commited. Though as corny as it sounded, Hogwarts was practically her home. For practically three-quarters of the year, she went to class, ate lunch, and chatted with her friends. It was a routine she had come accustomed with in her first year at Hogwarts.

At the mention of a sixth year, the brunette shrugged slightly, hiding the concern that hid behind her features. Interviews could always be rescheduled, even if that meant hunting down the student for the better good. "Reschedule, because no, I don't know what it's like to speak to a sixth year." She said, her eyes looking down at her pearl bracelet.

The thoughts in her head continued to change for the worst, and it didn't make it better with the accusations thrown at her by Aurelia. If she wasn't going to change her mind, then the Ravenclaw simply jusy needed to change hers.

Cecily's words were tranquil, stable, and courageous. Hers, undoubtedly, were the exact opposite.

"Look, you're delusional. Tell me, how on earth could I cause you to faint? In the middle of the hallway, more or less? I wasn't there to punch you, or cast any spells -" Mostly because I don't know a proper spell "- And I certainly didn't force you to drink that worthless little potion of yours." She said, her voice trembling as it rose with anger.

She found herself with her hands clapped to prevent herself from balling them up, and possibly even throwing a punch. The chances were slim though. Punching a student was bad enough, but punching a student in the infirmary was twice as bad, it was practically bound to get her expelled from Hogwarts along with her wand taken away from her. Frankly, Emma just wasn't feeling it today.

It was as if the same scenario that happened in the library was repeating again, two ravenclaws standing against her will. Aurelia wanted to leave and rush down to the library, there was a very slim possibility that the older year might still be there. But yet again, she wasn’t in a good shape. Aurelia heaved a sigh, one of frustration and sat back down on the creaking cot.

Aurelia crossed her arms stiffly-mostly because of the cold- as Emma began to give a rather unconvincing explanation. Upon mentioning the usage of the potion, Aurelia shot the Ravenclaw an icy cold glare. If she was in a better condition, one which didn’t involve the floor feeling like it was spinning every time she stood, she would give the girl war. Just because Emma had the upper hand doesn’t mean she could tell everyone in the hospital wing that she was using the potion.

Why else would I have fallen unconscious? The last thing I remembered was me making my way to the library and-” Aurelia had make a quick snap with her fingers, “I was here, there wasn’t a glass vial in my hand and the potion does not make you loss conscious.” Aurelia explained defensively.

Aurelia just wanted peace and quite for the time being. She had just given an older year a bad impression on her for simply not turning up. It would make her day easier if the two ravenclaws were to stop concerning about her own well-being.

The Griffyndor seemed sad and frustrated. At once Cecelia felt a little sorry for her. It would be awfully hard to miss an interview with a sixth year, now that Cecily really thought about it. She hadn't even talked to any sixth years before. Cecelia somewhat regretted what she had said, but remained silent.

She felt a little remorseful when the other Ravenclaw spoke to the Griffyndor with vexation and crossness. But something else caught Cecily's attention. A potion that was supposedly owned by the Griffyndor. There was definitely something going on between the two. Cecelia could mainly tell by the expressions and words of the other Ravenclaw. She wasn't quite sure what had happened between them, but was going to find out.

Before Cecelia could speak, the Griffyndor spoke again, replying to Emma.

A potion that doesn't make you lose conscious. Ugh, there hundreds of those of course. It must be something that does something to your mind if Emma thought it takes away your consciousness. Cecelia thought, very curious what potion they were talking about.

Before anyone else could say anything, Cecily spoke up.

"Look," she said, turning to the Griffyndor. She had seen this girl introduce herself somewhere before, but did not remember it. She hated not knowing what it was, but did not dare to ask. "why don't you believe me? You fainted. End of story. I saw it with my own eyes."

Cecily stopped her sentence abruptly, realizing she was not really telling a full truth. She had never seen the girl faint, but only saw her on the ground. It was only Cecily's hypothesis that she had fainted. It was the most likely, after all, but it was possible Emma could have caused her to faint, and then maybe ran off. As Cecily thought about this, she looked at Emma, wondering if she could have done it. Her face was full of anger and annoyance. Could she be responsible for this incident?

Don't think that, Cecelia. Emma wouldn't just lie. She can't be guilty. Cecily thought. Shaking off that idea, Cecily spoke up again, this time her voice trembling a bit.

"Um, n-not be nosy or anything, but what is this potion you speak of?"
