Summer Vibes
Meenauh had said goodbyes to her friends the day before. The ones, who didn't want to stay for the summer camp, or didn't have an opportunity to do that. She missed her parents, but they allowed her to stay as they had unfinished business for another three weeks or so. So there she was with packed trunk, slowly stepping down from the castle to find a cabin to stay at for the summer camp.Participants (post order):

The 1st of July, 2019
Morning
The year was quite fulfilling for Meenauh. She met lots of interesting wizards and wizarding kids, experienced several nice and not that nice events, discovered a hidden personality in herself and almost accepted the Hat's sorting decision, though feeling quite uneasy at times. And Marla. She cared about Marla the most out of all. Probably, because of her ability to get into troubles. She kept smiling as she was recapitulating her year on her way to the cabins.
Once she reached the lake, she saw an anchored boat, which was supposed to hold all the students who wished to stay for another month. Bigger on the inside. She quite got used to the concept of Extension Charm's effect, though she had struggled at explaining it to herself at the age of eight when she had gone travelling with her parents. Well, her own pouch was charmed, but that was not that spectacular.
Inside the boat, she saw corridors with multiple rooms on both sides. The first room's door was already open, so she entered as she thought there was already someone. The room was very cosy, with two bunk beds on the sides of it. And the room was empty, despite the open door.
She moved to the bunk bed on the left side of the room, placed her trunk on the bottom bed and sat beside it to rest for a while.

Raine walked down toward the lake where the note she had received earlier told her to go. She sighed as she saw the boat docked on the water as well as some of the other kids who were staying around for the summer camp. She had really wanted to go home and see her baby brother, but her parents had owled her a week before school was over that they were going to visit her paternal grandparents for the first two weeks of July for a family gathering. Upon hearing that, Raine wrote back begging them to let her stay. She loved her grandparents dearly, but having to deal with cousins and the neighbors who normally just came over to eat her grandmother's cooking were annoying as hell.
And that was Raine being nice.
Thankfully, her mother and father conceded and allowed her to stay for the first two weeks while they were away but she would have to come home the moment the two weeks were up. A compromise Raine agreed to readily. Plus she had planned on hanging out with Arc some more since he was going to be here far longer than she was planning to be.
Walking up the wooden plank to the boat, Raine entered the spacious boat and looked around in awe. The outside of the boat was small but the inside seemed as if it could hold a damned mansion!
"I love magic," the Gryffindor said breathlessly as she looked around at the different rooms and the decorations of the boat. Pictures of various summer activities were hung all over the walls, a sign-up sheet was tacked up near the entrance to the boat, and the door to the various rooms that would hold the students who chose to stay were for the summer were either closed or opened wide enough to let other ppl see inside.
Walking up to a door with her assigned room on it, Raine saw another girl, a fellow Gryffindor, sitting on the bottom bunk on the left side of the room. With a smile, Raine walked over and tossed her bag on the top bunk.
"Hey. I've seen you around all year. Don't think we got the chance to talk though. Name's Raine. Raine Sage."

The rest felt much better once she opened her pouch and retrieved a chocolate bar from it. She noticed she had a thing about those chocolate bars, so she would better stop eating them on every exhausting occasion.
Once she finished it, she sat for a while in silence, staring through the window. The weather outside just not only smelled summer but screamed summer. That was indeed the first ever July she greeted alone all by herself. No friends, no family, no anyone actually as she was still alone in the room.
As if by magic, at the same right moment she heard footsteps in the corridor and a sweet little face stopped by the room entrance. The girl smiled, confidently entered the room and came closer to the bed Meenauh was sitting on, threw her bag on to the top bunk without saying a word.
A sweet little Gryffindor she remembered seeing a lot throughout the year, but for some reason, the world kept them away from each other. She didn't even remember whether they actually ever talked. And no name was popping up in Meenauh's head. And only then the girl introduced herself.
Raine Sage, okay. That didn't ring a bell, which kind of freaked Meenauh out as she could usually remember a name even hearing it once.
She made a deep breath and responded:
"Indeed, I remember you, but I don't remember any interaction between us. It's weird, right? When you see a person a lot during the whole year and never have a chance to talk. I'm Meenauh, like 'me' and 'now'," she smiled but then frowned a bit, "Why were you so confident when you entered as if you knew that you were going to stay in this room?"

Emma really didn't have the opportunity to say goodbye to most of her friends, some were boarding the Hogwarts Express with a one-way ticket straight out of here, and the others were simply staying to hang out with their other friends. Of course, she was amongst the group, though the reflection of last year's summer camp continued to creep in the back of her mind. This was going to be amusing. Would they play another game of werewolf? Even though the last one hadn't been long for herself, it was still pretty fun to test out a new spell.
Entering a random cabin with her bag on her shoulders and her trunk in her grasp, she took the time to look around, unconditionally bewildered by the amount of space. Needless to say, she overpacked just a little, but she did need her books, clothing, and goggles. Plural.
While she wasn't keen on sleeping on a boat (much like the cruise she went on a few years ago), she didn't mind the bunk beds. The top bunk made it easier to breathe, but the bottom bunk made it easy to hang a sheet and isolate herself from her cabinmates while reading. She could already detect sound in the room, but she would have immediately tuned herself out of their conversation if it weren't for a familiar voice. Continuing with her actions, the brunette tossed her trunk in a corner and set her wand on top of it and made her way to the two girls.
"Hey, sorry to interrupt, but do you mind if I stand here?" Emma asked, looking from both of the girls. "I'm Emma, by the way. I'm entering my third year." Wow, it felt great to say that. It seemed like she had been a second year forever and she was just really happy to graduate and learn more spells. Finally, no robes and no uniforms. Instead of navy blue and bronze, she wore a simple orange shirt with a paw print in the middle. Joining the group of two, she began to spoke. Smiling, she acknowledged her dueling partner, "It's great to see you again, Meenauh."

Convincing her family that staying at Hogwarts for a few weeks into summer hadn’t been easy, but she had won over in the end. Her choices had been the campgrounds or a chateau near Kutna Hora baby sat by a ghost, and some staff, and somehow she chose the former. Honestly, she hadn’t made all that many friends during the year, and she wanted to change that so she could at least pretend to have mates come second year.
After having packed her things in the castle and made her way across the grounds, she found the boat that was to house the students. It reminded her of a botel she'd see on the Vlatva river while feeding swans on its shores in her childhood. Perhaps she'd find some birds to feed here too. Dressed in jean shorts and a simple white tank, Angellica made her way through the halls and found a room to call her own. Granted it had that Gryffindor she had an academic rivalry with, but it also had her Quidditch captain Emma, and her friend Meenauh.
Being rather petite and frail looking, it was a sight to watch her drag her trunk into the room she had inadvertently chosen. "Hey Emma, Meenauh," she nodded to them as she dropped her trunk down heavily at the foot of one of the bunks that seemed to be where she and the Ravenclaw would bunk. "Raine," she added with a neutral tone. She had yet to truly have an interaction with her that wasn't school related. This was summer after all, perhaps they'd find some common ground, who knew.
"Emma, you want top or bottom bunk?" she asked, figuring it was only fair to make the offer being the last in the room herself. Hair half up, she didn't have to tuck any stray strands of blonde locks as she wiped her brow from the effort to make it all the way there without much assistance. She was trying to gain muscle though, so she couldn't complain.

Neutral? NEUTRAL? This...skinny little Ravenclaw had the nerve to treat her as a neutral party?!
Well...there's no helping it. She didn't exactly know the Ravenclaw outside of classes, so she responded with a neutral tone of her own. "Angellica." It was true that she and Rowley had a bit of an in-class "who can get the most Os" competition going on, but it wasn't anything truly serious. Besides, the little swot beat her in Os during their first year on her own merit. Raine had gotten quite lazy with her homework after the blossom ball as she was still a bit traumatized by the things she saw and her own helplessness. So maybe for these two weeks, the two rivals could get along properly and then go back to being neutral parties come September.
'Or maybe they could become friends. Only time would tell.' she thought to herself as she watched the two Ravenclaws decide who was getting which bunk. Looking around the room, it seemed as if people preferred to stick to their own houses unconsciously. Granted, it wasn't as if she gave anyone the chance to take the bunk above Meenauh's. She had tossed her crap up there immediately after seeing a familiar face. 'Oh well.'
Clapping her hands together, Raine stood up from her seat on Meenauh's bed. "Alright, if we're all settled and have sleeping arrangements settled, why don't we figure out something exciting to do? We have the next few days to have ourselves a party. Shall we get a group of other kids together and go swim? Or...shall we show our mischievous sides and start a prank war? You know, like they normally do at those Muggle Summer Camps. I'm sure it'll be fun."

Before Raine could answer the question, two more girls showed up one after another. Both familiar to Meenauh, one even more since they got much closer since their second meeting in December, especially because of the Research Club.
Emma entered first and greeted them, directing an expanded hello to Meenauh. Meenauh waved back:
"Hey, Emma! It's interesting to hear 'third-year' when I still feel like a first-year," she smiled widely. She was really glad to have an older student around to learn from her.
Angellica entered almost in the next minute to the great pleasure of Meenauh, as she really enjoyed her being around through the second half of the year. She smiled and waved back at Angellica, greeting her but still not understanding why everyone was so confident to have that exact room as theirs. Meenauh stood up and went through the doorway. On the left, there was a pinned parchment with their names on it:
She entered the room back as Raine was suggesting activities. She sat back on her bed with the parchment in her hands, woken up by the word "muggle":
"What is a prank war? I just realised that I know unbelievably little about muggle summer camps. And I'm in a very bad relationship with wars," she asked Raine as she clearly didn't have a single idea about what she meant by prank wars.

In the same order, they arrived at their room. That was confusing. Meenauh thought the students were supposed to choose the rooms themselves. And she didn't remember any parchment when she was entering the room. This sounded like some kind of mystery or a quest. She quickly looked at other cabin doors and no parchment was on any of them. Greeting Angellica with a smile, Emma waved casually and shifted her attention to the feisty Gryffindor, snickering softly. Eagles on one side, and Lions on the other. While she didn't have a problem with the arrangement, it just seemed stereotypical. As long as she remained on the bottom bunk, it was an insignificant opinion she didn't worry too much about.
"I'll take the bottom, thanks!" She responded. As soon as she opened her trunk, a winter breeze smacked her in the face, but she didn't complain one bit. From the top of her trunk, loads of items had been packed inside of her trunk and that was on the top layer out of the three layers the trunk provided. Extracting a royal blue fuzzy blanket, she tossed it on the bed to claim her bunk.
The brunette rose an eyebrow as Meenauh stood and walked to the doorway and left the room briefly without a single word. Shaking off the thought, she turned to Raine who began to talk, ideas already sparking a flame in her mind. Honestly, she hadn't pulled a prank in a very long time. It had been a while since she last set off a dungbomb or pelted someone with enchanted snowballs. She was looking forward to starting a war as ferocious as it sounded. Sitting on the bottom bunk, she set her elbows on her knees and placed her head in her palms with an animated look.
Now that Meenauh was back, she took her wand. "If that's the case-" Emma pointed her aspen wand at the door, "Colloportus." Although one couldn't be seen, a latch clicked into place almost like a bank vault. Lying back down, she tossed her wand on the bottom bunk and made eye contact with the parchment in Meenauh's hands. Was it really being nosy to ask?OOC Note: The door is now locked, if you want to prank us, unlock the door first![]()

The neutral tone was met with the same, and though Angellica didn’t overthink it in the heat of the moment, she would surely hope that this might be a chance for a new chapter in her life. Of course, she had won in the competition of Os, which made it easy to let bygones be bygones. Even when her team captain offered to take the bottom, the blonde wasn’t very miffed. After grabbing a few items from her trunk she made her way up the ladder to her bed where she sat perched. She did like to be on top, and for the time being, this included heights. Lower bunks would probably be first to be pranked, they were easier accessed for one.
Not knowing things was definitely something she didn't enjoy, and though she knew of pranks, she couldn't say she'd actually been the recipient of one before, or even the instigator. It was an experience she was interested in, even if there was talk of muggle manners, something her parents would have frowned upon quite heavily.
From where she perched Angellica listened. If there were going to be pranks done to them, they would have to remember to lock the door, a thought she had as she watched Emma lock their dorm. From where she sat she had a great vantage point of the room. "You jinxing us?" she asked lightly, obviously playing around as she asked Meenauh about the parchment with their names on it. Of course the parchment would have had to have been jinxed and then they would have had to sign their own names on it, or so she'd read.
"I have a couple dungbombs, exploding candies, and cheeky curlers we can use to prank the other students," Angellica said with a small guilty looking smile. She might have purchased a few products from Weasley's Wizard Wheezes, mainly to spite her parents in a secret bout of rebellion, and half to ensure she had retaliation in case she ever found herself on the receiving end of something that required a response.

The dialogues mixed up and she didn't hear clearly at that moment, but she heard Angellica inquiring about the parchment, which resulted in Meenauh answering as Emma locked their doors to Meenauh's surprise:
"Jinxing? Why? My wand is... ah, that," she looked at the parchment, folded it and put into her pouch, "that is probably someone's bad joke."
She didn't feel like sharing at the moment as they raised a different topic she knew so little about — pranks.
"Okay, so, Emma, you locked the door because of what? Why did you do that? And," now speaking to Angellica, "why have you listed those items? Why do that to others?"
She clearly was not following. The other girls seemed to have a clear understanding of how that worked and what were the reasons of people to do that to others. Did even Ravenclaws do that? Did Meenauh miss some fun with other kids and that was an essential part of growing up? Was it a healthy behaviour? Why didn't she read anything about that?
More and more questions were flooding her brain and she almost heard her other voice clearly laughing out loud in her head. She was sitting there with her eyes blinking at the girls and expecting someone to make a brief presentation for her.
