Marco Jackson is fed up with his cabin, it's loud, wet, and hot. He can't even read a simple book without being disturbed. Everyone is so noisy, and it's always gross and humid in there. Let's not forget Thurston. Marco is almost 70% certain that if Thurston gets annoyed enough, he's going to drown one of the kids. He's already looking down on them like they're the bane of his existence. He wouldn't be surprised if someone else ends up leaving because they can't handle him. But unfortunately for Marco, he doesn't exactly have anywhere else to go. So he has to suck it up and deal with it for now. It's only a couple months, right? He can handle it. Hopefully.
Either way, Marco needs a little break from everything that had been happening so far. So with the hour of daylight he had left, he set out to find somewhere peaceful to read. He doesn't know where, but it's sure as hell won't be anywhere near his cabin. At the moment, he's currently traversing around some trees, keeping quiet if not for the occasional ruffle or crack from a branch or brush, with a book in hand. By now he's walking behind the Unicorn Cabin, stopping to glance at it momentarily. He should have picked this cabin, it probably wouldn't be so humid and wet. But whatever, he can't exactly change now, all of the other cabins are full. He gave a gentle sigh, continuing on.

"There's nowhere to read..." Midas struggled to find somewhere to read. There seemed to be people everywhere! Nowhere that was silent, and relatively secluded existed. As Midas looked around, he realized there really was only one area left - the Forbidden Forest.
Midas began walking into the forest. "I've got to find somewhere to read...". The campgrounds were just too loud, and there were people everywhere. He continued walking into the forest. The trees were getting closer and closer, and the path was getting thinner and thinner. Soon, he lost track of the path. The trees seem to loom over him, and seemed to laugh at him for getting lost. He began to try walking in the direction he believed which he came from, and took out his wand just in case something was here.
The sky, or at least what Midas could see of it, seemed to be getting much darker. He said "Lumos...", and used the light to look around. Shadows seemed to dance around the trees, and Midas was getting rather desperate for an exit.
As he was walking through the trees, he thought he saw movement to the left of him. "W-what was that?" He stopped and stepped closer. The more he looked, the more he had the feeling something was there. He walked another step closer, and suddenly something popped out. Midas yelped out "INCENDIO!" while jumping backward and falling to the ground.

It seems Midas and Marco were in the same boat, as it seems he's gotten himself helplessly lost at this point, just barely using the trees as a guide at this point. The wood was too dense, blocking out most of what was left of the sun as it set. It made Marco nervous, soon becoming blinded by his fear as he recklessly started zig-zagging through the trees. Though, close he could see a light, which caused his heart to flutter a bit as he moved towards it--
Just as he heard the word 'Incendio' reach his ears. He gasped, holding his book up to block his face as the flame barreled towards him, setting his book ablaze and burning his hands. He yelped in pain, dropping his book to the ground and cradling his hands to his chest. The photo of his sister is inside that book. The thought only barely ran through his head as he ducked down and began to put the fire out, desperately stomping on the book until the flame ceased, in which he bent down and pulled what remained of the photo out of the book. At the sight of the hole burned in the center, his eyes welled up in tears, looking at the culprit of the crime with a rage that burned as hot as the other's spell. "Идиот! Посмотрите, что вы сделали!" (Idiot! Look at what (you've/you have) done!) He shouted, choking back a sob.

"Oh my god! You scared me! I'm so sorry!" Midas kept on stuttering, trying to come up with reasons for shooting off a spell at the boy. The book had a huge gaping hole in it, and what seemed to be the remains of a picture of a girl was there, burning into pieces like the rest of the book. He didn't even know what the boy had just said, but he didn't look happy. This was bad. It hadn't even been a week since the start of the summer, and it looked like he had already made an enemy.
"Maybe I can fix the book!" Midas began pointing his wand again at the book, but with the look the other boy gave him, he quickly stowed it back into his robes. "I shouldn't do anything else... I'll probably make an even bigger mess." he thought. "I-I..." He tried again to make excuses for his actions, but no words came out. "Y-you s-cared me..." he said quickly while moving backward. Maybe he should run... No. He had to do something for what happened. He was going to fix the book and the picture!
Midas began fumbling to take his wand out again, this time to cast Reparo to fix the book. However, as he was trying to take out his wand, he tripped over a tree's roots and accidentally fired off a Dancing feet spell towards the boy.

The woods were dark and terrifying, large trees looming out of banks of mist. It was in mist like this that the ravenclaw prefect had been raised and it was in the mist that he felt safest. The forbidden forest was a place he rarely visited, and it was only the outskirts. But when he did it filled him with a sense of familiar tension. It was a life or death situation, but one that he knew, one that he could overcome using skills he already had at his disposal.
But ahead of him in the woods he saw two other students, clearly in violation of the rules. It was called the forbidden forest for a reason, after all. If he had been made aware of this situation while he was studying in his room it would not have bothered the young ravenclaw. Their stupidity would cost them their lives, not his. But the amount of sound they were making disturbed him. Were they not afraid of the gytrash? Not worried of the innumerable creatures that lurked the woods?
You survived by being quiet, by understanding how the woods worked. You understood the rhythm of nature and then moved along with it. Things didn’t notice you, didn’t hear you. You became part of the landscape. Not like those beacons of insanity and stupidity, trying to summon all manner of predator to their side. And by extension, summoning those predators to Kaegen’s general vicinity.
He was just about to leave as fast as he dared, but a promise he had made stopped him. He had promised to meet or exceed the expectations of prefect-hood. That meant doing something. He turned to face the noise, his grey scarf blending in and whipping behind him, matching the patternless swirls of mist.
His face, pale as death, seemed to blend into the mist, grey scarf concealing his chin. Sharp eyes gleamed from behind heavy lids and dark shadows, seeming to radiate disgust and contempt. The top of the boy’s head was covered in unkempt black hair, and there was a little bit of dried blood on his left cheek.
He had appeared, seemingly out of nowhere, directly in between the two students. One moment the mist had been swirling around them. The next, there was a boy. It didn’t help that they had both been completely distracted.
”Idiots.”
The voice was neutral, quiet. It sounded like a whisper, or the rustling of leaves. It certainly seemed to fit the terrifying boy, as the dark eyes started to drill metaphorical holes through the eyes of the two deviants before him. If he was going to die it would not be because of those two. His demise would come at a time of his own choosing, and not a second before then.
”Go back to Hogwarts.”
The voice was as quiet, haunting and sincere as it always was. There was no way he was going to be killed by roaming creatures, attracted by the antics of two morons. If it came down to a life or death situation he would make sure that he was the only one walking out of the forest alive.
”Detention. and a recommendation for a house point reduction, assuming you make it back.”
And then the haunting figure of the ravenclaw prefect faded back into the mist. He moved a decent ways away and quietly climbed a tree, out of their sight and out of the range of the roaming floor bound beasts that called the forest home. He would make sure they left before he headed back himself. After all, he had promised.

You can both post one more time if you want, but then I'm going to close the thread. Expect OWLs with further instructions at a later date.
