Stella exhaled as she faced the library from the door frame. It was so big! One one end, you had the book worms who were silently reading, along with a few working on homework alone. On the other end, you had groups of people quietly chatting and socializing, a few study groups, and what appeared to be a book club discussing chapter five of whatever book.

Biting her lip, Stella headed over to the former, sitting herself at a table and pulling out her sketchbook. She'd come alone, and wasn't expecting anyone, so might as well sit on the quiet end of the library, right? If she ended up socializing with someone else, they could move to the other end.(Though she doubted this would happen. People tended to keep to themselves here, she'd noticed.) Pulling out a quill, Stella frowned a little and debated using what the muggles referred to as a 'pencil' instead. She found that she made far too many mistakes when she drew with a quill, and also that pencils were quite useful when it came to this-- you could always erase and try again! And, she currently didn't know the spell for erasing mistakes in ink, but she'd heard of white-out(again, another muggle term, but she also heard that it was quite helpful!)

Alas, she didn't have any pencils or white-out on her(muggle items weren't permitted on Hogwarts grounds), so Stella opened to a new page, set out her jar of ink, and began intricately drawing on the page, soon filling it with swirls and quick, easy doodles. Sure, she could be in the Hufflepuff common room right now, but she liked the scene of the library better. It felt familiar, in a way.

Wren loved the library. All the books, shelf to shelf, the full room. Granted, there were only wizard books, but she didn't mind them as long as she could read. As reading was one of her favorite pastimes, she thrived in the library.

The book worm side of her completely contradicted the talkative side of her. Extroverted-Introvert as the muggles would say. She would talk a lot around people but she always needed time to regenerate, away from people. When she was home it had been reading in her room, after going to the local library. She would sometimes let her mom on in what she was reading, but most of the times the books she read were books that she knew her mom would frown on.

She kept a lot of secrets from her parents. Even a big part of her life. The fact that she was bisexual. Her parents had always taught her against being that, but she knew from the time she was old enough to understand what that meant, that defined her. The first person she have ever had a crush on, was a girl. After that it had been a boy and then another girl.

She was in the library to check out a book as well as work on her potions homework. As she walked over to the tables where she would sit down and do her homework, she noticed a girl with red hair. Now, her experience with red-haired people had been that they have a temper. This girl looked different though, she looked peaceful. Wren could see she was drawing and she looked pretty good at it. Wren decided she would ask this girl if she could sit by her, as she wanted to see some of her sketch's.

"Hey! I'm Wren, could I sit here, and maybe see a few of your sketch's?"

Stella jumped at the sudden sound of someone's voice-- she'd been so concentrated on sketching that she hadn't heard the sound of approaching footsteps. Looking up to meet the other girl's gaze, Stella immediately noticed how pretty the girl was. Her hair fell in beautiful, dirty blonde waves on one side and her brown eyes fixed on Stella with kindness. It took a moment for Stella to register what the girl had said.
"Hey! I'm Wren, could I sit here, and maybe see a few of your sketch's?"
Blinking, Stella smiled softly at her and nodded. "Of course you can sit here. And.." She thought of the sketches part, biting her lip in thought and mulling it over for a moment. Admittedly, she saw no harm in obliging. It wasn't like she had anything to be embarrassed about in her sketch book. Mostly it was her original characters and a few pieces of Dear Evan Hansen fan art.

"I don't see why not." She said finally, shrugging and closing her sketch book before sliding it across the table over to the empty chair which she presumed Wren would sit. "I'm Stella, by the way." She added, her accent thick and prominent as she smiled at the girl. Stella had a good feeling about her-- as she did with mostly everyone.. She'd been told she was too trusting. And maybe that was true, but Stella's instincts told her she'd be getting to know Wren quite well.

The girl hesitated, probably, like most artists, wondering if It was a good idea for someone to see her sketches. After pondering it for a while, she decided that Wren could see them.

"Wow! These are really good! Could you maybe give me some lessons sometime? I am a terrible drawer, honestly it would probably be impossible to teach me anything about it"

Wren laughed.

"I'm Stella, by the way."

The girl, Stella, introduced herself with a thick accent, though Wren didn't know where she was from.

"Where are you from originally? England I assume, correct me if I'm wrong. I'm originally from Ausin, Texas, America. I'm not really familiar with the magic world either.

Wren blushed thinking, Why am i rambling on and on to this girl. I do this to other people but why, oh, why do I have to do it to this girl of all people?

"I'm really sorry if I tend to ramble. It's normal, but sadly I can't control my talking. I guess in some ways it means I have a lot to say about things. I mean, I do but..."

Wren stopped suddenly at a loss for words. She had lost her train of thought so suddenly it was like it had never existed.

"Sorry" Wren mumbled "I lost my train of thought"
