Out of all the things Millie had wanted for the school year, making a group of her own friends was the most important. Sure, she had spread out friends like Meenauh and Lallie, and she had the big group of her, Maggie, and a few others, but it felt like someone else's group.

Today, her and Honey, her giant cat, were sat in the library, not really studying, but leaning back and enjoying what little time they had before class. Not that Honey really ever left Millie alone, it was just nice for her to always have a fluffy compatible friend with her at all times. Even if Honey did seem to judge her every move.

She was fiddling with her long black hair, when she realized she wasn't sitting alone at her table. Honey seemed more eager to get the girl to pay attention- not that she ever did- to what was going on around her. She moved her purple eyes up from her book, and onto the person who had just sat down.

At first, she wasn't going to say anything and hope the person introduced themselves first- but that wasn't how Euphrasia Millie was born to work. She was wired to always have a loud and outgoing personality. Even if it showed up in the weirdest times.

"Hey there!" She whispered. "I'm Millie."

Lovely day, wasn't it? Min-seo Kim was skipping down the hall with her cat Rose right at her heels. Today was a good day! She only had a bit of work to do, sure, but her classes were fun. She decided to go into the library. She stopped in front of the door and smiled. "This looks promising, doesn't it Rose?"she said with a little giggle to her cat. Rose meowed in response. She giggled and opened the door, hugging her books to her chest. Her little heels clicked on the floor as she tried to to skip and disturb anyone. Rose followed her, weaving between her legs. Min giggled quietly and sat down at a table. She placed the book on the table and began to read. She giggled as Rose sat on top of her book. She pet her and moved the book so Rose couldn't sit on it and continued to read. The book was interesting. Alice in Wonderland. It was a muggle book, and Min-seo was fascinated. Who would've thought of having tea parties with a hare and a mad person? Certainly not her, but it would be interesting. She heard someone and she looked over her book up at her. "Hello Millie!" she said with a slight giggle. She'd met the girl before, and their relationship was confusing, but she considered her a friend.

Rosalyn had been in the library for a few hours by now, and she was walking around carrying a stack of books that went above her head. She would have to lean her head against her shoulder to see around the giant stack and hoped that there was nothing on the ground for her to trip over.

Rosalyn's being in the library wasn't much to find entertainment, as she had already read a good portion of the books before. She wanted to read up on everything relating to Herbology because she had gotten an E on her homework assignment. She would walk down each aisle of shelves grabbing as many books as she could even carry.

The library was vast, and Rosalyn eventually got lost. It didn't help that she could barely see around the tower of books she was carrying. It was not until she heard someone shout "Hi Millie!" somewhere ahead of her. Rosalyn would make her way towards the sound, and she would find two girls sitting at a table together. Rosalyn would walk, but it was more like a waddle, towards the table and set the massive column of books down. She wasn't sure which girl was the one who yelled, but she knew it was against the rules to be loud in the library. Rosalyn would just awkwardly hold a finger up to her mouth and then sit.

Hi guys, I just thought you should know I spent 4 days trying to make this post but I kept accidently clicking a button on the page and deleting it. Sorry for the late response!

Millie was shocked to find that the girl who she had bestowed upon... was one of her good friends, Min-seo! And her cat! Oh what a lovely day! She instantly reached out her hand to pet the small cat. She smiled brightly, her purple eyes flinging to life. She loved kitties, they were the most precious beings alive- and not to mention, they were adorable!

She continued petting the cat for a full minute before speaking to Min. "Heya! What's up?" She asked, looking up to her friend. Honey nudged Millie with her other hand, and she began petting both kitties. She was in a cat utopia, a heaven for just her, and two sweet lil kitties.

However, she ended up hearing someone walk by. She looked over, and saw a girl, younger than her, sit down at their table, with a stack of books. The girl, most likely a first year, raised her finger to her lips, as a way of telling the two to be quiet. Millie smiled brightly at the girl, she just always tried to be nice.

"Hey there!" She chirped. "Wanna pet the cats? They're fluffy!" She assured, smiling brightly. She had a way of either being the nicest, most sincere person alive, or being a deadbeat disgusting monster.

Nowadays, after discovering multiple secrets about herself, and the others around her, she tried to be the nicest she could. Even if it only costed one smile.

Min-seo giggled as Millie pet Rose, covering her mouth with her hand slightly. She loved cats, but goodness Millie seemed very excited. She let Millie pet Rose, who was nudging against her hand, loving the affection. Rose was a very affectionate cat, also meaning she would sit on the book you were reading so you could pet her. Such a lovely and lively kitten. She giggled again as Millie finally said something. "Nothing much, you? she said with a little whisper, laying her arms on top of her book, smiling brightly. She actually hadn't seen Euphrasia Millie in a bit, so it was nice to see her again and maybe catch up a bit. They actually met in the library, and it wasn't a very good meeting at all, mostly due to talking out loud and a big misunderstanding. They made up though, thank god, so now they could appreciate each other's good qualities instead of hating the bad ones. She turned her attention to the new girl who just sat down and gave her a friendly wave. She looked kinda shy, and Min couldn't blame her really. Min was shy as well, but she'd been working on trying to get out of her comfort zone and talk to people.

Rosalyn looked at the two cats that were on top of the table. She had never actually seen a cat up close before and was a little nervous. She would look up to the girl who asked if she wanted to pet the cat and nodded. Rosalyn would slowly creep her hand out toward the cat, but she would close her eyes and look away while doing so. The moment her hand touched one of the cats, she immediately brought her hand back towards herself. The texture felt weird to her, it was soft and fuzzy, unlike the hair of humans.

The cats would begin walking toward Rosalyn, and she would begin to panic a little. She would reach her hand out again with her eyes closed to get them to stop, but this time she let her hand rest on the cat. After a few seconds and hearing them purr, Rosalyn opened her eyes. Her nervousness went away for a bit after seeing how gentle the cats seemed. She would run her hands down the cats' back and be fascinated at the sound it made. She looked back up to both of the girls and asked "What are their names?"

Millie grinned brightly as the new girl began to pet the two cats. Honey always enjoyed attention, especially if it was from someone new. The cat never really had a fear of getting stolen because it was a cat- and she was too big for anyone to grab and not drop from scratches.

Out of all of her favorite possessions, Honey was the best. A giant cat was better than a giant owl, in her eyes. Especially when said cat would willingly yeet themselves at the owl to protect their owner. Millie loved Honey to the moon and back, four-thousand times over and over.

"This is Honey, she's about two or three years old, and she's a Silver Siberian Cat. Or-" She picked up Honey, who was at least the size of Millie's arm. "As I like to call her- Giant."

Millie smiled over to Min-seo and put down Honey. The cat didn't seem remotely phased by Millie, and continued waddling towards the new girl with rather loud meows. In the girls opinion, Honey sounded more like a motor than a cat. Not that she'd ever say it to the poor kitties face!

"And I'm Euphrasia, but you can call me Millie!" She smiled, knowing that absolutely nobody had been able to pronounce her name correctly, with the exception of Meenauh. And Meenauh was the only exception allowed.

Rosalyn didn't mind the cat rubbing against her anymore, it felt rather relaxing. However, she would begin to shoo the cat away slightly after its hair got all over her uniform. "Why do you call the cat giant?" Rosalyn asked. She never seen a cat before, so she wasn't aware of how big or small they were supposed to be. She only knew that they were small relative to humans and the majority of dogs. Rosalyn did take notice that Honey was bigger than the other girl's cat.

Rosalyn would remember the girl's name forever, as she remembered everything. She would pet the cat just a little longer and would look back at Millie "Rosalyn Mairead. First-year Ravenclaw." her voice had no tone to it as if it were bland. Rosalyn didn't know what else to say, so she took one of the books from the top of her stack and began to skim through it. The book dealt with the history of dragons. She was somewhat fascinated by dragons, and she needed to learn more about the history of magic anyways. She didn't have to read through the book carefully either, she would memorize the pages by just skimming through the words.
