Entering the Library, Marcus lets out a low whistle, just low enough so the Librarian wouldn't hear "The Stories of the Hogwarts Library seem to be even truer than I thought" He chuckled making his way toward the many book cases, selecting several books on Battle Magic, Dueling, Charms in Battle and Transfiguration, after grabbing what he needs he heads to an empty table and proceeds to start reading, occasionally eavesdropping on the other tables, scoffing lightly hearing the conversations going around, he shakes his head "It's like they didn't bother to read about the school and it's library" he mumbled picking up the charms book and skims through it slowly.
"Huh..never really thought to use the water charm with the ice charm like that, honestly very impressive" He noted then checked the Battle Magic book for something interesting "Cutting Curse...Bone-Breaking Curse, Shield-breaker, Knockback Jinx..hmm quite a few of these spells would do well in my arsenal" he mumbled continuing to skim through the book "No way am I going to use the Brittle Bone curse in dueling but if it's for a fight to the death, well..it makes sense."

Ava ran after the boy. 'HEY!' She called him, catching up to him. 'Tff... If you're inviting me somewhere, at least wait for me!' SHe rolled her eyes and chuckled. She swung the books right out of his hands and sat on the floor a few meters away. 'Cutting curse, Bone-breaking curse, Shield-breaking... Do you seriously need that many?' She stood up and gave him his dueling books back. 'Oooh... You have something bout transfiguration?' She opened the book. 'Hmm... Seems interesting.' Ava ran to a chair and sat down to read the book she just swung out of the boys' hands. She sat down on one of the chairs the library had and started reading. It was a pretty nice book, she could understand what it said and the spells seemed pretty easy too. At least, the first year and some of the two year ones. She got more and more into the book as she read it. Ava closed the book and looked at the title. Worth remembering. She opened it again and continued reading. She tried to remember some of the spells, as she knew they will probably be useful, either in classes or just generally she should remember them. Marking the page she was on she read the description. Nothing interesting, unfortunately for her. Some stuff about transfiguration she already knew from the books she had for school.

With everything that's happened, from the entering Hogwarts for the first time to the sorting ceremony Willie needed a bit of a break. His small body can only contain so much excitement after all. So, after everything was said and done he decided to head straight to the library, his home away from home. It's unfortunate that he couldn't bring any food with him here like he usually did back in New York but that was an easy price to pay...for now at least.
Despite being in his element, however, Willie was honestly getting a little bored. Not of the wizarding world gods forbid that, but of the lack of the more juicy content. Perhaps he will find more enjoyment in the application of the spells rather than the theory? It was certainly a fair guess but he wasn't going to blow himself up so soon until he had a better understanding of how spells worked. He loved his mother with all of his being but she was terrible when it came to teaching him anything related to magic, bless her heart.
Just as Willie was about to leave the library and perhaps sleep until classes started he paused. In front of him was a small rope that seemed to block off another section of the library. The area seemingly called to him and the thought of learning something others don't was just oh, so tantalizing.
"Maybe just a peek."
He looked around and made sure that no one was watching him until he slowly crawled underneath the rope to the other side.

Marcus notices Willie near the Restricted Section "I don't think that's a good idea, friend..wouldn't want one of the staff to see you in there, you'd probably get stunned." He said then frowned at Ava when she takes his book "Hey! I was reading that!" He stated to her then shook his head and instead continues to read the book on Battle Magic and Charms "The Stunning Spell would work wonders with you, Ava...since you like stealing people's books" He teased her with a grin without looking at her as he continues reading the book "No chance in hell am I ever going to use Fiendfyre.." He mumbles "Incideo is my best bet for a fire spell" He added in his mumbles then got up and went to grab a book on elemental spells upon returning to his table, he opened it up to the Wind Element and began reading slowly as he skims through the various spells "I wouldn't mind testing some of these spells" He stated to himself matter of factly, putting his feet on the nearby chair and continues reading with a curious gaze.

Sally enters with a determined look, pausing just a moment to admire the beautiful room in front of her and to take in the scent of books, new and old. She struts to the shelves and on her way, stumbles and is about to fall on someone when she catches herself. Mumbling a quick apology, she continues on to the shelves.
Sally had already read the first few pages of Magical Theory and now she wanted to research more on an interesting topic on the functioning of magic. In the meanwhile, it wouldn't hurt to look through a book that explained some common magical items. She didn't spend a lot of time with her wizard father so her knowledge could use a refresher. Now if only she knew where to find these books.
Navigating through the huge collection wasn't easy but libraries had been Sally's second home back in her world so she quickly got the hang of it. In addition to the books she needed, she also picked up some others that she found interesting.
Wizard astronomy was incredibly advanced. She wasn't well versed in astronomy but she knew when she saw the books that this was much more advanced knowledge than the muggles possessed. Maybe she would get the opportunity to learn all of it, perhaps in later years.
Now to decide where to sit. She would definitely feel more comfortable sitting alone, but perhaps its time she interacted with someone here. Looking at the groups of students mingling together, she however was deathly afraid to intrude, so she stood hesitantly on the side while she made up her mind.

'First of all: don't you dare test them on me. I'm sure you already have a bunch of girls who would love to be your test subject.' She said, as something rhetorical and partially sarcastic, not really caring about what the boy had to say about it. 'And second of all:' Ava rolled her eyes and gave him back the transfiguration books. 'Then get me something similar and I'll stop.' She grinned and ran off to find different books. Maybe something about charms or potions, as she knew the title of one transfiguration book worth reading, though she wouldn't mind finding another one, maybe something else than what she already knew about transfiguration from the books she had for school. She stopped and picked out some of the books that seemed interesting to her. Charms, potions... exactly what she wanted. *Now something about transfiguration...* Ava thought and wandered to a different section of the library. She suddenly hit another guy who appeared to be first-year Ravenclaw . 'Hey!' She tripped over him, losing all of the books she gathered so far and hitting her chin on the floor. 'Auch!' She laid down on the floor, confused out of pain. 'Well, that certainly hurt' She said, without really caring what it would mean to the boy. *Great.* she thought and sighed.

Just as Willie was about to grab a book from the lowest shelf of the restricted area he heard a boy speak. It wasn't anyone he knew but then again who did he know at this place? He was about to tell the guy to mind his own business until he heard him talk about being stunned.
"Stunned? You mean that there is a spell for that? What does it do!? Does it hurt? Does it not hurt? What are the forms of applicati-" Willie was just about to finish his fevered questions to the boy until he felt something slam into him. Hard. As the wind left his body from the impact he fell onto his back and wheezed. That was the last thing he was expecting to happen today. It was both welcome because of the light show going off around his head and unwelcome from the soreness around his torso.
"T-that certainly wasn't fun.", he croaked.
Willie stood up and rubbed the sore spot on his ribs before looking down at the girl who ran him over with a deadpan expression. "That was quite rude, ya know? Someone could've gotten hurt." He carefully reached a hand out towards the fallen witch and spoke.
"Willie Williams, Ravenclaw at your services."

Marcus watched the scene unfold with amusement in his eyes as he covers his mouth to keep from laughing out loud but you would still be able to hear snickering coming from Marcus "Oh that was great, if I could award points I would give you atleast five points" He teased then shook his head witha chuckle "As for your question, The Stunning Spell Stupify is pretty much a go-to in dueling league since, it doesn't hurt anyone unless they try to resist it but if it hits you'll just be knocked out for awhile until you wake up or someone revives you" he said
"It's probably one of the more simpler battle spells out there" He adds then looks at Ava "Clumsy much?" He teased with a grin then went back to reading his book after a few seconds he speaks "I would advise you to get permission first though since you were after all about to enter the restricted section." he then glanced toward Willy with an amused smile "Good luck with that though since we just started our schooling I doubt they would let us look in the restricted section this early in our schooling but eh magic is magic the impossible can be made possible" He shrugs after his comment then goes back to reading once more.

'Tfff. You weren't the only person who gut hurt' Ava rolled her eyes while getting up. 'Ava Silver, Slytherin at your services' she grinned at him while mimicking the guy. 'What are you doing here? Shouldn't you be down in the Great Hall? You know, with other Ravenclaws?' She asked him, not realizing how stupid her question was, as she wasn't in the Great Hall either. 'AND, I didn't mean to hurt you or anything. I just fell over.' She rolled her eyes again with a small grin on her face. 'Marcus,' Ava turned to the boy. 'Don't. You. Daare.'

Willie grinned at the mimicry before explaining himself. His mother was thorough in beating into him the meaning of politeness and courtesy. Very thorough. He still remembers the image of being locked in his room. Now normally that wouldn't be so bad as he could just climb out the nearby window but his mother was a true sadist and wouldn't be happy with just that. She locked him in his room...without dinner. Absolutely barbaric on her part. So much so it makes him shudder to remember the torture.
"Is it so weird to find a Ravenclaw in pursuit of knowledge? Though I never thought of myself as a raven per say. I prefer a hawk. There is always something to learn from someone else, even those of my fellow house."
Willie knew he sounded creepy when he said that but he didn't mind all that much. That was simply how he felt and he didn't feel like trying to explain for hours his motivations and philosophy, however childish they may be.
"But enough about me what about your two guys? Why are you here? Not that I don't enjoy the company mind you."
He actually kinda liked these two. They seemed to balance one another out pretty well and they were researching spells like he was. Perfect test subje-friends.
