Not Too Bright   PV Belle Celestin    Abandoned

Pushing the heavy wooden door open with a slight struggle, Errol quickly scurried into the library before she was crushed, the door closing with a thud behind her that drew in the attention of a few of the students who stood at the bookshelves closest to the entrance. The bookshelves, mighty works of art that pulled the breath from Errol as she stared at them in awe, never in her life had she seen so many books, and how the shelves reached for the ceiling like the metal buildings she had seen on her travels to the school brought wonder to the First year. She began to wonder why she had not visited this small corner of Hogwarts until now.

Daring to enter further, Errol brushed back a loose amber curl that had strayed from the rare ponytail her thick hair was pulled back into- rare due to normal hair ties being too weak against her thick hair, luckily a new friend of hers had charmed one of these normal ties so that it wouldn't break no matter what. With one problem solved, she discovered a new one, her curls seemed to have a mind of their own as they made their way out of the tie and into her face in a spiteful attempt at revenge that caused her hands to constantly be raking back the curls. Stalking towards one of the large wooden tables that speckled the room, if that's what the mighty hall could be called, Errol pulled out a chair and sat down, withdrawing from the depths of her black robe a quilt and a bundle of yellowing parchment paper to take notes with.

She had dared to trespass into the Library in search of extra information for her classes and the Library seemed like an obvious starting point and only proved to be so with its labyrinth of books that seemed to contain all of the answers in the world. Errol was never one of the brightest kids in the world, her Maimeó would sit her down at home for hours on end as her siblings were allowed to roam outside freely while she went over simple equations that didn't seem to stick in her mind as well as it did with Oisín and Eveleen.
