A mysterious book Finished

It was a fine Sunday afternoon. But not outside - outside it was freezing, which was quite peculiar as it was already April. So, a specific Russian Ravenclaw decided to head to the library, where she truly belonged, and spend the freezing cold inside. She made her way to the first free table, which was right near the front, and opened up her book. Before she got any actual reading done, she opened up her Potions textbook and started to read what she hadn't yet. Natasha liked to get ahead.

As she was reading, she realized that there was a reference to a different book, written by a Potions Master, in her textbook. Natasha stood up and hoped that they had the book. She went to the shelf which contained the Potion Master's last name and looked through all the books, trying to find it. A light cerulean blue book with golden engravings caught her eye. She pulled it out and noticed that the cover was dusty all over. She blew the dust off, and saw that the book was written by Patricia Spoire. Patricia Spoire was a well known defense against the dark arts witch. Natasha was looking at the golden book in astonishment that she didn't hear another student come in.

A mysterious book Finished
Lucy scanned the room for an empty table, lugging several schoolbooks. On top of the tower of books, she balanced an ink well and quill precariously with parchment sticking haphazardly out of several books, as if she were attempting to work on several assignments at once. Most tables were occupied, as it was rather cold outside and students were feeling the pressure to perform at the end of the school year. Lucy felt especially tense, seeing as Hufflepuff was last at the last House update. She figured her best contribution would be with her homework.

She found a desk with just a few objects on it, but the owner was not currently seated at the desk. She plopped her stuff down, relieved to have made it all the way up two flights of stairs without dumping everything. She wasn't especially coordinated, but she could carry through when it counted. She slapped open her book for Defence Against the Dark Arts, The Dark Forces: A Guide to Self-Protection. This homework on ghouls was especially trying after the last lesson about imps, so she could do with some help. She huffed, leaning back in her chair and cracking her back. She wasn't quite ready to delve into her work yet.

Lucy glanced around, curious as to whose table she might now be intruding on. Most students were whispering quietly, working on homework or reading. There were a few browsing the stacks, and there were two boys holding books and a girl holding a beautiful blue book nearby. She bit her lip, evaluating each of them. She couldn't decide which one it may be, so she decided to wait until whomever was already seated here came back for her to introduce herself and beg their pardon. After all, all the other tables were full. They couldn't be too annoyed, could they?

After working for some time, Lucy sighed, closing her book. She really should be getting to bed. Gathering up her materials, she left the library as haphazardly as she came in.
