The Last To Leave

This thread is open to up to three more people! Just looking for a way for my character to make some new friends on her way to school
oh, and you don't need to use my writing as a specific guideline, write in whatever style you feel is best
As Harmony Blackwood stepped into one of the train doors for the Hogwarts Express, she looked back at her family, moving a few strands of her dark, curly brown hair out of her face in order to see them better. Her two elder sisters, Hope and Helena, gleefully waved at her, having already gone through their own adventures at Hogwarts and excited for the baby of their family to finally have her own. Her father embraced her mother, who was quite tearful over the fact that her littlest girl was all grown up, while he simply smiled at Harmony, knowing that she would have a great time at the school that he, his wife, and his two elder daughters had spent so much time at. Harmony gave one last grin toward her loved ones, mentally reminded herself to write her mother a letter once she was all settled, then moved forward, allowing the train’s door to close behind her.
Looking down the looming hall that held the train’s various compartments, she stuffed her tiny hand into her left jean pocket, feeling several small, thin circles of metal; her father had left her a few sickles to buy sweets from the trolley witch with. “Just in case you get a we bit nervous, some pumpkin pasties or fizzing whizbees aught’a lift your spirits,” he’d said as he’d slipped her the coins, “Besides, I ‘ave left you enough to buy plenty to share with. Sugar’s the best way to make new friends.” Not that Harmony had ever had much difficulty making friends in the past, but...buying someone something sweet never hurt them, right?
Removing her hand from her pocket, she grabbed the handle of her suitcase and pulled it down the train’s corridor as she searched for a compartment to settle in. Of course, “pulled” was a bit of an overstatement; it was less of a “pull” and more of a “drag” as the heavy luggage proved to be a bit challenging for Harmony to maneuver. The lack of wheels on her suitcase only made the whole ordeal more difficult. Huffing and puffing, Harmony stopped in front of a compartment, deciding that this would be the one she’d make a home in for the next few hours.
Peeking her head in through the sliding doorway, she saw that it was completely empty. How odd, She thought to herself, I thought most of the compartments would be full by now. Slightly disappointed that there was no one at present to talk to (oh, how she wished to gush over Hogwarts with a fellow first-year), she entered the tiny room, somehow managed to push her large suitcase under her seat, then sat herself down, panting. God, I should really exercise more, she thought, I’m not going to be able to survive a day at this school if-- her thoughts were interrupted by a voice coming from the door, asking if they could join her. Harmony beamed, elated that she finally had the chance to make a new friend!

The Last To Leave
Stephanie waved goodbye to her mother and father. The train started to pull away as her little cousins ran after it. "Careful guys! You know you cant catch up!" .Stephanie grinned at them. She walked around, trying to find a place to sit. She bites her lip. Then she spotted A girl. She slides the door open a bit and speaks. " Hello miss, may i join you here ? My name is Stephanie ! Stephanie Jamie, but most people call me Steph . . . you can call me Steph if you like ! Are you excited !! I am so very excited!"
All these words just tumble out of Stephanie's mouth so fast , that it was hard to understand here. She stops and slows her speech down. "Sorry , you probarly could not understand a word i said. I speak fast because my brain works fast. I need to work on speaking slower. My cousin's say that i am a loudmouth ! Anyway. As I was saying before , may i sit here ? This is the only one with space i can find. Oh are you a first year as well ! I am a first year ! My family was so proud when i got my letter ! Were your parents ? Oh silly question! Of course they were ! I say, can we be friends ?" Stephanie bites her lip, whilst waiting for her answer.

The Last To Leave
“One, two, three...okay, eight.” Doris giggled into her scarf, glancing at her brother. Marshall looked massively annoyed, looking at the train every two seconds. He hated these first days, Diana took forever to give the ‘big speech’ too everyone. Usually Delta had her earphones in, Brooke was busy reading the latest pamphlets, and everyone else was trying to look intent on whatever she was saying but wanted to be elsewhere.
“We know you can count,” muttered Delta, but Diana didn't hear her, or didn't want to.
Decorated with a beautiful blue suit and bouncy curls, and gripped her hands in that charming way that Victorian's did. Doris shook her head, but let out another giggle as her brother moaned loudly for the third time.
“The train is going to leave in four seconds—”
CLAP. Everyone went silent as the looked towards my brother. Standing right behind him was the eldest child in the Solmon family, Caol Solmon. His long dark hair was pulled into a tight ponytail. He was dressed in a semi-formal outfit. His face, usually adorned with a warm, yet careful smile was now covered with a dark look.
After making sure his brother received the full deal of that look, additional to the hard smack on the back—Doris noticed Marshall's pained expression—Caol turned towards his sisters, issuing them with a calm gaze.
“My brother and dear sisters,” he began, nodding at Diana that she was ‘dismissed’—she gave him a foul look behind his back. “Yet another year has passed and a new one begun. Nearly all of us—” His gazed rested briefly on the youngest child, Boreal, who stood holding one her sister's hands. “Have went on to Hogwarts, paving a way to be remembered by many. But what's most important is that we remember where we come from.”
“And where is that,” she heard her brother mumble. Hopefully Caol didn't hear that one, or he'd get worse than a smack.
“We come from a line of strong men and women who's loyalty never shook. We are steadfast against the waves, hard against the wary, and—”
CHOOOOOO.
Yes, I didn't really want to hear all of that. All of the Solman's heading to Hogwarts, which was only four of the eighth, hurriedly grabbed their things. Caol watched them all warily, slightly hurt by their ignorance. But he knew better; they'd learn most of their lessons at Hogwarts, which would prepare them well for the real world.
Grinning, Doris kissed her brother on the cheek, then raced towards the train. The bright red express matched her eagerness all the way, and supposedly her siblings, too.
“Goodbye!” She just made out the call of her sister Diana as the train's whistle swallowed all other sounds.
Doris was trying to find a seat. She didn't want to be alone, her first year was all about making friends after all. She skipped over empty compartments. Some people didn't look too friendly, others just didn't feel right. She attempted to sit with someone but they left the conversation feeling weird so she left eventually.
She was walking and saw a compartment with a blond haired girl in the doorway.
Standing behind, Doris peeped into other compartments before focusing on this one. “Hey, uh—can I, come in? Are you accepting entrants, please?” Her Scottish accent was faint but there, enough for someone to be able to tell that she wasn't from England.
