Taking Corners too Fast
Annie had just finished a Herbology lesson and was kind of reluctant to take the dragon hide gloves off, for they were actually surprisingly warm. After cleaning up her station, and handing the gloves back to the Professor she made her way back up to the castle. The rest of her class had already filed their way up the hill towards the castle and Annie quickly jogged up behind them so she wouldn't be left behind.This is a private thread for myself and @Amy Hayes
As soon as the castle doors had open a sigh of relief crept out of her mouth. Thank goodness for the castle being so warm.. she thought to herself. As soon as her limbs warmed up she began moving with the crowd definitely ready for lunch but then remembered she should probably put her book away.
She fought against the wave of people and went to go grab her stuff back in her dormitory for her next class which was potions. Finally when the mob of people were gone and just a few students scattered around the corridors were left she let out a breath she hadn't realised she had been holding. Her stomach growled at her to quickly hurry up and get back to the dining hall and Annie nodded her head, agreeing with her stomach. She obliviously turned the sharp corner and then WHAM! she had run into something, or someone by the looks of it.

Taking Corners too Fast
Amy had just finished brushing her hair, and was a bit bored. She wondered what her friends were doing, and let out a loud huff before throwing herself back on her bed. Surely they were as bored as she was right? They had to be. And Lycan, no. She shook her head to clear her thoughts of him, seemingly disgusted with herself. I'm only eleven. I can't have a crush she thought as if trying to convince herself, and then sat up. If she was bored, why not go exploring?
Slipping on her shoes, Amy placed a red handkerchief on her head, tying it in the front and creating a bow once again. She exited her dormitory and began walking through the halls. "One step, two step, three step four. How many times will I touch the floor" She giggled as she sang and jumped from stone to stone. She passed a Knight statue, and saluted it with a playful grin saying "You've done a fine job protecting these castles Sir Knight keep it up" Soon enough she was approaching a corner, though she still looked down at the floor and counted her steps. The sound of other footsteps evaded her senses and soon she was sent falling backwards, her hands stopping her fall. "Heyyyyyy"

Annie nearly lost her balance but thankfully recovered. "Ah, sorry I wasn't looking where I was going.." She said this while looking at the ground and spotted a Slytherin.. of course. The girl shook her head trying to clear away thoughts and noticed no smug look on the girl's face which was odd for a Slytherin. "Slytherin aye? I'm Annie Morgan, second year Hufflepuff, chaser on the Quidditch team." She spoke confidently about her house and team.
Annie raised her brow at her before silently holding out her hand so the girl could regain her balance. She realized her posture was stiff and she had a frown on her face. She let out a huff and rolled her eyes. "No offense but our houses don't usually get along, sorry if I'm being all uptight.." Finally getting out of her comfort zone she gave a small laugh, her eyes lighting up a bit.
The Hufflepuff glanced down the now empty corridor and knew she was only halfway to her dormitory, the heavy book reminded her that was her mission in the first place. Then her stomach rumbled loudly and the girl blushed madly at her hunger. "What's your name? Are you on your way to lunch, we could walk together..?" Annie offered shyly, warning up pretty easily, mainly cause the girl wasn't snobbish like most of her house, or at least not that she knew of. She quickly told herself to shut up mentally cause she wouldn't know anything if she kept rambling on bour herself and random things.

Amy kept her head down as she listened to the girls apology, and she glanced at her shoe to make sure it wasn't actually her fault she'd fell. It wasn't. She then listened to the girl's introduction and finally raised her gaze. A second year? Hufflepuff? Quidditch ? Could Amy's luck get any worse? She knew their houses hated each other and figured it would only be a matter of time before more of her house came to notice their interaction. This caused her to quickly look around before returning her gaze back to Annie.
"I'm....Amy. First year. Slytherin, though you know that" She smirked a little bit. Amy was in no way a rude or unkind person, but sarcasm and joking were often a favorite thing of hers to do. She noticed the frown on Annies face, and watched as she huffed and rolled her eyes. Did I do something already? she thought worriedly, but relaxed when Annie stuck her hand out. Amy gladly took it and pulled herself up, dusting off her clothing and fixing her hair.
"No, Our houses do not get along, though..I'm not really sure my house gets along with anybody" She said thoughtfully and titled her head slightly to the side. "Good thing I'm not a follower. It's nice to meet you Annie, and no Wasn't even aware lunch had started but now that you mentioned it, we could definitely walk there together. Wouldn't want to get knocked over again. Some people may not take as kindly as you have to a Slytherin" she laughed and looked around once more.
