10/10 Would Bully Again PV Kyle DeRooke

Some days you just need to punch someone in the face. Everyone knows that feeling. Right? They had to. From the moment Kyle woke up he just felt...off. Almost like he had a stomach ache in his head. His mind just felt sour and it put him in a mood. He wanted nothing more than to go out and take his frustrations out on someone. But who? The snake he normally fought with backed out of their arrangement after chipping a tooth, the hufflepuffs he normally harassed had gotten better at evading him and he hadn’t reconciled with his only partner in crime and he wasn’t about to try and cause chaos alone. That’s a lot of heat for one guy and having no one to serve detention with blew. So what was a guy to do?

He put on his uniform pants and button up, though it wasn’t fully buttoned and his tie was loose to say the least. The final touch to his “Rebel without a cause” look was the chain that was becoming more and more part of his every day look. It was time to resort to an old classic. Finding trouble instead of planning it.

Almost as if the gods of mischief were presenting him with a gift, while wandering the hall he saw a blond Gryffindor boy. He was singing to himself and doing some stupid dance or something as he walked down the hall. Kyle smirked to himself and slipped his hands into his pockets. He made sure to keep quiet then as he passed the other boy he stuck his foot out to try and trip the blond.

Usually, Lamik would have attempted to jump over a stuck out a leg or at least move out of the way first. Unfortunately, the boy was a bit distracted at the time so instead, he fell onto the floor with a surprised yelp. Luckily he hadn't been hurt too bad, though the boy was sure that his elbows were going to be sore for the next few hours. Rolling onto his back and pushing himself up to a sitting position, Lamik looked up at the person who had tripped him. "Don't worry, I'm fine." He assumed that it was an accident- after all he hadn't really paid attention to where he was going and the person he was speaking to probably hadn't either.

Suddenly realizing who had tripped him, Lamik audibly gasped. It was the boy that he had met in the abandoned bathrooms once. Met wasn't the right word, exactly. It was more of a short run in with a disgruntled classmate. Either way, it had happened, and it wasn't pleasant. "Kyle?" Lamik thought that he had heard Marla call him that, so he assumed that it was his name. Kyle looked far better then he had when they had first met: Color had returned to his skin, and he didn't seem like he was on the verge of a mental break down. Not that he seemed happy, of course, but he didn't look as bad. "Hi! We may have gotten off on the wrong foot earlier."

Kyle couldn’t help but laugh as the boy hit his foot and tripped just like Kyle planned. The surprising part was Lamik didn’t seem to understand that Kyle had done it on purpose, and that idea just made Kyle scoff and shake his head. What kind of world did he live in that people obviously tripping you was something happened on accident? Weird ”Nah I’m sure we got off on the right foot. I was trying to knock you into your face. You were dancing like a dork, making the rest of us lions look bad”

Kyle slipped his hands into his pockets and wore his usual cocky smirk as he watched Lamik. If he was lucky he’d actually get a reaction and he could liven up his day at the expense of this other boy. It had been awhile since he got into a fight and while Lamik looked pretty scrawny that didn’t necessarily mean he wasn’t scrappy ”save us both some trouble and just stay on the ground yeah? Or don’t. Could be fun to put you back down there a few times” Kyle wasn’t sure why exactly he wanted to ruin this guys day but something told him it was the thing to do

Lamik looked up at kyle for a few moments, going over his words silently. Oh- Lamik thought -so he's one of THOSE people. Lamik had had a little bit of expirience with bullies when he was younger, though it didn't last long. He had developed a method of keeping the ones at home away, amd hoped pretty desperately that it would still work. The most imoortant part? Act oblivious. "Do I really not look good? Its the hair, isn't it? I knew i should have combed it. Also, ot really isn't my fault I was dancing. Across the universe is a great song, and I just couldn't help it."

Though Kyles first comment too Lamik a bit by suprise, he was ready for the second one. The boy knew what he was goimg to respomd with immedietly, and it most definetly didn't involve giving Kyle what he wanted. "Honestly? Its nice down here." Lamik patted the floor and gave Kyle a cheerful smile. "You should sit down too. The floor is nice and cool. We could get to know eachother better." As he rearanged his sitting position to a more comfortable one, Lamik hoped that the response he would get was a confused one.

Kyle sort of frowned at the other boy as they sat on the ground in front of him. There was something about the way he talked that just made him want to hit the kid really hard. he didn't know why. Kyle was willing to bet that this was how this kid got out of most confrontations or spots of trouble. Be overly friendly and polite, act air headed and like you don't understand whats really happening, invite the source of trouble into doing an activity with you. This probably either made people feel bad or just uncomfortable enough to leave the weirdo alone. Unfortunately for Lamik, it just annoyed Kyle more and made him more sure of what he was going to do.

Kyle shakes his head and steps forward and he reaches down to grab the other boy by his collar and starts to pull him up "Nah I insist, lets get you to your feet. yeah?" then once Lamik was halfway to his feet Kyle would pull back his right hand and throw a quick punch to catch Lamik in the face and knock him back to the floor.

**If Successful** "BOOM! hows that feel?" Kyle lets out a laugh and steps back a step and shakes his hand a few times

Luckily, Lamik managed to step back just in time, thanks to the dice hating kyle his somewhat completely average reflexes. "Wha-" He started, immediately taking a few steps back and pulling out his wand. He truly hadn't expected Kyle to go that far. Sure, the boy was probably a bully, but what had Lamik done to him? There was no time to think, however, and as soon as Lamik got to grips with his situation he racked his brain for the right spell to use. The first thing that came to his mind was Fumos- that way he might be able to get away. With his wand raised and aimed, Lamik began to move his hand in the shape of a snail's shell and utter the incantation.

IF SUCCESSFUL

Smoke shot out of the tip of Lamiks wand, filling the corridor in a thick haze. Though it was annoying to breathe in, the Gryffindor had an advantage over Kyle- he didn't need his eyes. Though he couldn't actually see his attacker, Lamik knew exactly where he was. He sensed it. It was an ability that he had learned at some point, though when exactly wasn't clear. At that moment though it didn't really matter.

The boy moved himself backwards away from Kyle's punch and he then pointed his wand and let loose the smoke screen spell. Kyle began to cough and he back away and waved his hand infront of his face a few times. Who just randomly throws smoke around indoors? over alittle physical altercation? "Seriously man! The shit? Kyle didn't really have time for this, and he didn't really even have that strong of a desire to mess with Lamik in the first place. This random fun detour was quickly becoming more trouble than it was worth and Kyle really wasn't about to get into a spell duel with some random person in the halls.

While continuing the wave his hand infront of his face to fan smoke away he just backed up away from Lamik, and kept going until he finally cleared the smoke and returned to regular, happy to not have to blink through smoke or breath it in any longer. "Go back to singing your lame songs, and doing your dumb dances. I got better things to do then play in the smoke with you. Christ" Kyle shook his head and turned his back on the smoke and began to walk away.
