Wandering The Halls Finished

By this time Dianna was already lost so she just gave up. Not many students were out and she understand why, it was lunch time! When she went looking for the Great Hall ended up in another corridor. Not recognizing the place she was going to turn back to where she came from but thought why not explore? With a shrug of her shoulders she continued walking.

Now here she was fussing at a random knight. "Ugh this is all your fault that I am lost!" she huffed. Even though she knew the knight had nothing to with her being where she was. She needed someone to blame and the knight was right next to her. Not wanting to get lost any further she decided to stay put hoping that anyone would walk by.

"aww but who would walk down here during lunch? So that mean I have to miss it until someone finds me?" She whine. She looked around for anybody but sadly saw no one. Kicking the knight she huffed. She sat down on the flower glaring at the knight while flowers seemed to grow around her with her noticing her powers running on her emotions.

"WILL ANYONE COME AROUND THE CORNER!" She yelled and the circle of flowers grew around her without her acknowledgement.

Renae was walking down a hall in the corridor and heard talking and a bit of yelling at the end of the hall.  When she got to the corner she noticed flowers were slowly creeping around it. Renae looked around the corner and saw a girl yelling at a knight because she was lost. She almost found this amusing. Renae slowly walked around the corner, trying her best not to step on the beautiful plants and half way to the duo she stopped and looked down at the flowers slowly flowing over her feet and around her ankles.

Renae bent down and picked a yellow rose, felt the petals and put it the inner pocket of her robes. She stood up and approached them but they were too busy arguing to notice her presence. "I can help you" Renae said in a friendly tone. The girl was still yelling at the knight. Renae was impressed with all of the flowers surrounding them she was in awe, yet she was very confused.  To what seemed 10 minutes (but was actually 2) they finally stopped. Renae smiled slightly and trying to contain her excitement about how the girl got all the flowers every where.

"I can help you." Dianna turned to the sound of the voice. Finally someone had decided to come around to help and she was relieved. "Thank you so much. You don't understand how long I was here." She was being dramatic a tad bit since she have only been there for 20 minutes. She took a step towards the girl but stop short once she saw all the flowers.

Seeing the flowers over her feet she blushed in embarrassment. "Sorry about that." She scratched her arm the flowers being in her interest. "It just seem to have mind of it's own." She smiled looking at her. Mother have always said I need to learn to control. she thought. True her mother have but she played it no mind but didn't now it could get out of hand. With a sigh she closed her eyes claiming down all the jumbled up emotions that was going through her mind, causing the flowers to disappear.

"Well you may think I'm weird now..." She trailed off. "Um..Well my..uh.." She stopped remembering her mother's words. As a pure-blood you must be formal when it comes to greeting. That if you want to be respected.
She cleared her throat. "Sorry Dianna Michi at your service." She bowed with a smile. Her arms wide open while looking at the strawberry blonde hair girl.

Renae looked confused at Dianna's formality. Everyone she knew was very casual and she was as well.. To think about it being casual is very easy, comfortable and welcoming but formality is polite and respectful. She thought to herself How can someone be so formal..?  And it suddenly dawned on her.

Dianna is Pure-blooed   Renae almost panicked. Actually, she did panic. "Oh I'm so sorry I-I didn't know." Renae stammered apologizing to the girl and she bowed to her  "I almost had no clue." Renae realized she had to be calm and she softly smiled. Renae had all respect for Dianna especially for how nice she was but for a Slytherin she was oddly surprised, impressed, and pleased. She had nothing against Slytherins but she really trusted Dianna.

"I'll be glad to assist you." Renae calmly said as she looked at the dark haired girl and realized she also forgot something and gasped "My name is Renae Everett! It's nice to meet you!" She couldn't believe she forgotten her introduction but she continued to smile. Renae was relieved to meet Dianna she was almost excited about it. She needed to make some friends and she finally has an opportunity.

Dianna smiled at Renae. She seems nice... She thought to herself. "No need to apologize, of course you didn't know. I don't like going through the halls yelling I'm pure-blooded and such." She walked up to her with her hand out for a handshake. From the way Renae panicked she knew she wasn't a pure-blood but it didn't bother her to much for someone have finally decided to help her.

Any other time she would have thought they could friends with a snap of her finger but she has to stay aware to people she meet. Her wall was up high. She continued to smile but not to wide. She picked that up from her mother. "Thank you so much." I don't know if I could trust her. Than again she is helping get to lunch. But what if she tries to drag me to this unknown place and feed me to squirrels? she shuddered at that last thought before shaking her head. I'm just over reacting. She wouldn't do such a thing ... right?

She started to feel uneasy about this. Though she always does when she is talking to someone other than her mother. Sighing mentally she stood up straight noticing her slouch posture. "You can lead the way." She grinned but it didn't meet her eyes as she hoped.

Clarke had left lunch early, not feeling too hungry that day. He had tried to eat but soon go too antsy and had to leave to go for a walk. Hogwarts was such a big castle and he wasn't used to having so much freedom to go where he wanted. Back home his mother wouldn't let him go for walks even around the neighborhood without asking first and when he got back home she'd demand to know where he had been. He didn't know why she didn't trust him, maybe it's because he so resembled his father.

But here at Hogwarts, with the school as big as it was and as active as it was, he was really rejoicing in his ability to go wandering around the halls. He wasn't paying attention to where he was going as he walked, staring at the paintings he passed by. He heard voices up ahead but wasn't too bothered by them just kept wandering, liking the way Hogwarts could still feel so lived in and full even when it was so big.

Clarke rounded the corner ahead of him to see two girls standing there talking to each other. Right as he caught sight of them he felt something crush under his foot. he lifted his shoe slowly and peered at the flowers under his feet. He looked back up at the girls curiously. A slytherin and a gryffindor? He hoped there was nothing going on.

"Do you guys need help?" He asked as he approached them, trying to step gingerly.

Wow the crowd just kept getting bigger. Who knew yelling at a statue knight would get peoples attention. She thought to herself. She pouted at the two Gryffindors. "I'm hungry and lost." She stated. The flowers started to grow all over the wall as she began walking towards to boy Gryffindor. Bowing down "Dianna Michi at your service". her arms out wide with a frown on her face other than her signature smile.

She put her hand out for a hand shake this time smiling. We were about to make our way to lunch since I don't know where it is and been here for hours." though only ten minutes. "umm..Well would you like to come with us?" she asked. Again the uneasiness settled in her stomach. Her smile left of face but came right back as soon as it left.

Scratching the back of her head she looked to the side finally noticing she was talking to a whole other gender. It's one thing talking to girls. She live with her mother. But when it comes to the opposite gender she doesn't know what to do. Blushing madly she took a step back or two and the flowers continued to grow along the wall. This time she noticed. "OH goodness please don't travel to far." Her eye widen as she watched them (flower trail) turn around the corner.

"Oh, I'm Clarke Laredo" He said and reached out to shake her hand back. His mom always taught him to keep your handshake firm, because it made people respect you. He knew how Slytherins usually were, both of his parents had been in Slytherin and him ending up in Gryffindor surely had come to a surprise to everyone. He was quite pleased with it, although he had nothing against Slytherins in the first place.

"I just came from the great hall" he told them, "I wasn't feeling too hungry, but I'd be glad to escort you two back there if you need me too. Unless" he peered at the flowers and smiled a little amused, "You need to take care of that."

He had never seen magic like that before and wasn't sure if the flowers growing out of control was a sign of a larger problem. The way she had reacted to it led him to believe something more serious was going on and he wanted to help if he could. He still couldn't help but find it a little amusing though, the idea of flowers growing along the cold stone of the schools walls.

"I'd be happy to help with that too," he said, "I have nothing better to do right now."

She looked at the wall than back to Clarke. "You have any water on you at the moment right?" She asked nervously. If anyone else see this she knew she will in a world of trouble from her mother. Trying to make it stop wasn't going to be easy. On the outside she had a calm demeanor but on the inside all her emotions and thoughts were running wild. She cocked her head to the side in a thinking motion. Oh mom I should have listened She knew dueling was prohibited in school halls but will plain out magic be trouble?

Felt her wand but didn't know any spells for water so that was out it. Her panicking out loud won't solve anything but make it worst. She really need to calm down maybe.... She started pacing back and fourth just like her mother did when she wanted to calm down. "Well this isn't working."
She grumbled. It was making her miss her mother. She frowned not pacing anymore. She have revered showed her true true emotions to anyone but her mother and right now she needed her. She did like being away not one but. Yes she knew she was thinking like a baby but she haven't left her mother's side till Hogwarts.

She shook her head looking at Clarke again. "If you do have water." She chuckled to herself. "Pour it on my head." Even though she was full out serious she couldn't help but laugh.

Rename looked puzzled at Dianna but she was dead serious. She turned to Clarke. Another Gryffindor..   Renae was rather comfortable with the boy but remembered that Dianna was blushing at the boy.

A Syltherin and Gryffindor.. She'd never think about it but.. there's possibilities. Renae calmly sighed and smiled but she's never seen Clarke but she was happy to meet him. She was especially happy to meet Dianna it was almost releaving at the thought of the three of them would be friends.

Renae looked at Clarke "Nice to meet you Clarke, I'm Renae Everett." She softy smiled and felt her stomach growl. Aww lunch..I almost forgot She frowned at her thought. Renae looked around and the hall became very scarce, up and down the hall was empty with no other sound.

She looked down and every flower was wilting at a slow yet steady pace. Are those flowers physically apart of her? Renae wondered if it was painful for her and pulled her water bottle out of her robe pocket and handed it to Dianna remembering that she needed it. "Here Dianna. I really hope it helps." Renae really wanted to learn more about Clarke and Dianna.
