Amelia's Speech: Yellow
Amelia maneuvered her way around the groups of students in the crowded corridor, wanting to get to the library as soon as possible to finish her homework. She tightly gripped the books she was carrying to her chest. She passed by groups of people, some standing close together in whispered gossip. The girl rolled her eyes, she was never really one to gossip about someone - she found it unnecessary and rude. 'If you're going to talk badly about someone, at least say it to their face.' she thought to herself.
The girl was too busy ranting in her mind about 'idiotic rude people', the name she had gave the groups of people who were gossiping, that she didn't even realize she had bumped into someone. She hardly noticed it happened until she was on the floor, her books and parchment sprawled around her, the Hufflepuff groaned from pain, her mind starting to come back to the present and processing the fact that her back hit the floor very harshly and was now starting to hurt quite a bit, "Sorry about that," she said to the person she bumped in to, "I wasn't looking where I was going." Amelia stood up and grabbed her books and parchment, ignoring the lingering pain in her back.

Tripping, Stumbling
Haley was on her way back to the Gryffindor common room when she was bumped from someone roughly. Haley had to smile slightly when she realized what had just happened. Was this a kind of deja vu? she asked herself and still couldn't believe how absurd this situation was.
So much she would have liked that this little Slytherin beast would watch this moment, then maybe she would learn how to deal with other people. Haley felt the anger come back up inside her but before she lost herself in it she smiled at the girl across the her. "Oh, it's not that bad. It's happened to me before" Haley winked at her while she collected her books again.
Haley suddenly noticed a sharp pain in her arm, she must have fallen awkwardly and hurt herself. She pulled her face but tried not to let it show. She didn't want the girl to feel bad about the little accident, after all it was not her intention. She took a short deep breath and shifted her books to her other arm. "Are you okay, did you hurt yourself?" she asked friendly.
From her uniform she recognized that the girl was from Hufflepuff. She remembered Alina, whom she had just met and was curious if she would get along with her as well, maybe this crash would lead to a new friendship and not enmity for once.

Amelia looked at the girl with a confused expression whenever she winked at her, but decided not to ask her about it. "Well, my back hurts a bit," she laughs slightly, trying not to make the girl worry too much, "but don't worry about it, it was my fault, I didn't look where I was going." She shifted her gaze to the concrete floor, shuffling her feet awkwardly. She was feeling quite embarrassed about the fact she had bumped into someone, this definitely was not the ideal way to start a conversation.
She shook her head to rid her mind of the embarrassing thoughts, the girl, who she now knew was from Gryffindor, if she was going by the red color of her robes, was still standing in front of her, she noticed the Gryffindor had winced slightly and shifted her books from one arm to the other, she gasped at the sudden realization that she had probably hurt her. Amelia mentally slapped herself for only caring about her own injury and not the fact that she most likely hurt someone who didn't even do anything to her. "Did I hurt you, though?" she asked the girl, voice laced with concern, "I could bring you to the hospital wing, if you want? I really am sorry for being so careless, I should really look where I'm going more often, especially in such a crowded corridor." Amelia looked around her and to no one's surprise, the corridor was incredibly crowded.

"Don't worry," Haley smiled reassuringly to her, "I just fell on my arm a little awkwardly, I'm sure it won't hurt anymore in a few days." Haley wasn't sure if this was true, but she didn't want to worry her. "But if you want to get your back checked, I'd be happy to accompany you to the hospital wing," Haley offert her quickly.
She had no idea where they had to go, but she was sure that the Hufflepuff girl would know the way. Haley made a short note inside that she urgently needed to sit down to try to find her way around Hogwarts and learn where to find which room.
Haley was surprised at how crowded the hallways had become and heard small groups talking and laughing everywhere, she found it hard to concentrate. For her everything was still so new and her mind wanted to perceive everything and not miss anything exciting. She shook herself briefly inwardly and tried to concentrate on the conversation again.
"By the way, I'm Haley, where were you going in such a hurry?" she smiled at her again and was curious about her answer. Haley wondered if she was in her first year too. She also looked quite young, but she was not sure.

"Oh my god, I'm so sorry, I really didn't mean to hurt you," Amelia replied, guilt washing over her features, "I don't need to go to the hospital wing, I'm sure it'll stop hurting in a few hours." she chuckled slightly, her back did still hurt but she had already decided that if it was still hurting tomorrow, she would head to the Hospital Wing by herself. Thankfully, Amelia is quite good with directions and found her way around the school quite quickly, compared to most other First Years.
She figured that the Gryffindor girl was also a First Year, judging by the fact that she looks the same age as herself. Her left arm was starting to hurt from carrying her books for so long, so she quickly swapped them and tucked them neatly under her right arm before responding to the Gryffindor, "I'm Amelia!" she smiled warmly at her, "It's nice to meet you, Haley. I was just on my way to the library before I bumped into you," she let out an airy laugh, "I was just going to start on my homework, I have a Potions essay due in for tomorrow and I've yet to start it." she groaned at the looming thought of the undone essay waiting to be completed, she hadn't had time to do it when it had first been set and now she found herself, the day before it was due, rushing to the library to complete it. She was never usually like this, always completing her homework as soon as she could, the essay had been assigned last week and she had been so busy with completing her other assignments that the essay had completely slipped her mind until today.

Haley thought it was very sweet how caring the Hufflepuff girl was, but she wanted to make her understand that she doesn't have to feel bad or even guilty - misfortunes happen to everyone. "Don't worry! I am glad that nothing worse has happened to either of us" said Haley and laughed.
Amelia was very sympathetic to her, she considered her to be a very warm-hearted person and was happy that she was allowed to meet another face at Hogwarts, even though it was due to an unpleasant situation.
"Oh, that's where I just came from, but then I don't want to keep you up and wish you good luck with your homework!" Haley thought back to her last potions class and knew only too well how stressful it could get.
"Maybe we'll run into each other again sometime soon. But then maybe without bumping into each other and you can tell me how your essay turned out!" Haley laughed heartily, but she didn't want to hold up her new acquaintance any longer and took a small step aside to give her some space on her way to the library.
"It was a pleasure to meet you" she said to Amelia as a farewell address and prepared for her departure towards the common room.

The Hufflepuff smiled at Haley, she was glad that she had bumped into someone nice and not someone who would've cursed her into oblivion for not looking where she was going. "Yeah, I'm glad nothing worse did happen to the both of us." Amelia laughed, she decided not to tell the girl that she would've felt really guilty if she had terribly hurt someone who was just walking along the corridor, she already felt guilty for bumping into the other girl in the first place, but she didn't want Haley to feel bad for her.
The Gryffindor had said about running into each other sometime soon, Amelia nodded enthusiastically. She was always open to making new friends, "Yes! Hopefully we can hang out sometime soon, send me an owl if you want to?" she asked the other girl, rocking back and forth on her heels subconsciously as she spoke.
She rolled the sleeve of her robe up to look at her wristwatch, "I should really head to the library now or else I won't be able to finish this essay," she walked a little ahead of the Gryffindor before turning back and saying, "It was really nice meeting you though! Hopefully we see each other soon, but let's hope I don't bump into you this time." she laughed before turning on her heel and heading off towards the library.
