[font=book antiqua]The locket was missing. After a stay in the hospital wing, Dymphna had been practicing a few moves for Quidditch. It was her first time on a broom since the disaster at the ballroom and she didn't want to let her team down. A few of her teammates had landed themselves on bed rest too, but she was determined not to get left behind whenever they had won the first Quidditch match of the year. It wasn't exactly that she was extremely passionate about Quidditch, not enough to go professional anyway, but more likely it was brought on by her competitive nature in the sport.

It was only after Dymphna had left the training grounds to head back towards the castle that she realized her locket was missing. She had been in a rush on the way out, tucking it through the zip of her heavy winter coat and she didn't remember taking it off before practice as she had before the first match. The locket was too important to her to be worn playing a dangerous sport like Quidditch.

On her way back to the castle, the blonde kept her eyes peeled for any hint of a dark shape in the snow then once she reached the doors, she began to retrace her steps towards the pitch again. The snow had been falling for a few days already. That didn't mean that it would be impossible to find, or so she hoped. It was a black locket with a golden lobster motif, a present from Reid on her thirteenth birthday. For her, it was a symbol of their friendship and the thought of it being lost was just unacceptable.

If only they had learned the summoning charm already. She gave a sigh, having reached the pitch and started back towards the castle once more. If she wasn't able to find it before dinnertime, she would ask her cousin Hjørdis for help. Scratch that, her cousin might think too much into it. Reid was only a close friend and nothing more. Dating wasn't something that she even cared about at this point. Quite the opposite after what happened with Oliver. Heck, she would avoid it for as long as possible, throwing herself into her studies and clubs instead. No, she would have to search for the locket on her own least she get teased for some non-existent crush.
