March was chilly but not too bad. It wouldn't snow with the temperature rising in the afternoons for a bit for the sun went down. Still, Dymphna had to wear her cardigan under her school robes least she catch a cold and miss classes. That just wouldn't do. Being called Miss Perfect and Teacher's Pet was annoying but what could she do? She liked learning, enjoying her time at school and if others were to fault her for it, she would think them an idiot but would never say it to their face, even if she wanted to at times.

Rumors and gossip was a waste of time. Who cared if two professors were possibly dating? She thought it was great news but only the two could confirm it. Are professors even allowed to date one another? She wondered, thinking of the time she and Ben had discussed his worries of Hogwarts staff finding out that he was dating his fellow Prefect. It didn't seem to be a big deal in the grand scheme of things but of course, the rumor mill made everything bigger than it really was. Having a newspaper column for gossip was both a blessing and a curse. The information only had to be rumor but didn't have to necessarily be correct. How annoying.

Feeling bored and uninspired, the blonde was strolling the school grounds. Making sure to stay very far away from the Forbidden Forest, just as the Groundskeeper had instructed of all students at the start of the term. There were a few others running about, someone seemed to be jogging far off in the distance and she had noticed a group of boys that were playing some muggle ballgame. She didn't feel like exercise or playing games. She didn't feel like studying or reading. Everything felt kind of bland and boring since she had woke up.

Like she had promised herself the first time she had left home for Hogwarts, she wouldn't hole herself away in the library. She would appreciate the little things in life; the chill in the air as Easter arrived and the evergreens that never lost their leaves. After spending some time outside on her own, observing the lives of her fellow students and trying not to think too much about anything at all, she was starting to feel better. It was only when she had walked too far, closer than she realized to the Forbidden Forest that she paused, her mind racing a mile a minute. What creatures made their homes in the forest? Was it true that centaurs lived there?

Turning to start on the journey back towards the castle and distance herself from the creepy forest, Dymphna ran straight into a blur of red and was able to stumble back before she fell. Looking at the stranger, she gave a sheepish smile. "Sorry," she began but didn't know how to explain why she was close to the forest. Would the girl tell the professors that she was breaking rules? It wasn't like she meant to be close to begin with. Wait, what was she doing here? "Um, I won't tell if you won't." It was worth a shot, right?

If the year went any faster, Sabrina would be graduated in a few months rather than moving up to her second year at Hogwarts. Literally yesterday had been September, and now it was suddenly March. If she kept losing time like this, she would never be able to fix her friendship with Reid. The fact she was acting so recklessly toward the situation bothered her deep underneath the surface, but for now her jealousy seemed to cloud everything else she was feeling. She thought that a walk around the Grounds would help, as she had a great love for the outdoors, but so far it had just given her a lot of time to think. Something that was definitely unneeded.

She actually didn't even notice that she was nearing the edge of the Forbidden Forest until she had run into a whole lot of blonde. Easily tumbling to the ground was the part that frustrated her the most. She rarely got caught offbalance, but since she was lost in her own thoughts about Reid's various new friendships, it seemed to be an exception today.

"Sorry.. Um I won't tell if you won't."

Sabrina quirked an eyebrow at the girl from her position on the ground. She slowly brought herself up to a standing position, brushing off the backside of her robe. "It's fine," She mentioned, glancing behind the blonde to the Forbidden Forest, then back to her. "I wasn't exactly paying attention either. So I'm sorry too." She shrugged her shoulders lightly as though it were nothing. "Were you really planning on going in there, though? I heard there's trolls and centaurs there. Are centaurs even friendly?" She wondered aloud, furrowing her eyebrows slightly. It was then that she noticed she should probably introduce herself. It would be rude not to at this point, considering they had literally ran right into each other. Or more like walked.

"My name is Sabrina. Who are you?" She asked, putting her hand out so that they could shake. It was a custom, her mother had told her, that people expected when they first met people. This was probably only the fifth person Sabrina truly introduced herself to this year. There was Serena, who she had met just a few weeks ago, and then there was Siege, and of course she met Reine and Rhea, her dorm mates, and found a great disliking for the girl Juliana. Thus being, five. She seriously didn't socialize much, and perhaps that should change. Starting with this girl, maybe? If she didn't just run off after meeting Sabrina, of course.

Even in her home of Ireland, there weren't quite as many redheads as most people believed. It wasn't the red hair that shocked her though, running into someone like that especially near the forest would spook anyone. Hand over her fast beating heart, she shook her head quickly. "No way. I'd never go in there, not even with permission." She shot a glance towards the forest. So creepy. "Maybe centaurs are but I've heard trolls are actually pretty lame." Who would want to meet a troll? At least centaurs could talk, or so she'd read.

"You can call me Dymph. Nice to meet you," the blonde shook her hand, happy to have made proper introductions. The girl was another potential friend. Dymphna thought that even though she had made a few friends already at Hogwarts that another one couldn't hurt. The more the merrier! Again, it was nice to meet someone that she didn't have to deal with all the time like the girls in her dorm. They were nice but it could get annoying to adjust to others schedules and have to tiptoe around as to not wake them up. It was nothing against them but even months into the school year, she was still getting accustomed to sharing a room. "So, what are you doing out here?" She didn't think that the girl was trying to go into the forest from her earlier words. Thinking of the forest, she took another look before turning back towards the castle. "Want to join me? It will take a while to make it all the way back." Besides, if they got called out by someone and got into trouble, they could be each other's witness.
