Chloe had had a terrible day and wasn't good at making friends. She had a tendency to speak without thinking, and because of it, she would sound judgmental or rude. She didn't mean it. She never was trying to be judgmental or rude, but that's how it would come across sometimes. She hated it and just wanted to take a walk to clear her head. She wanted more than anything to explore the Forbidden Forest, but students weren't allowed in there. She was walking towards the forest, enjoying the feeling of the breeze in her hair and the sound of the water. She wasn't paying attention to anything- or anyone- else, just walking and thinking.

She did love Hogwarts. She was glad she got to come, she just wished it was easier for her to make friends. She wanted someone to go on adventures with, to explore secrets around the castle. She wanted someone to play Wizard Chess with, not like she knew how to play, but maybe they could teach her.

She watched her feet kick at a pebble on the ground, then turned her focus to the beautiful pink and blue sky, not paying attention to anything. Chloe got to the edge of the forest and looked into it longingly. What she wouldn't give to explore. Explore anything.

A voice broke the sweet silence of the area, crisp and laced with humorous sarcasm.
"Looks like someone's about to break the rules. Lucky you I'm not a professor."

Kira was perched on top of a fallen tree, her feet balancing her body on the round log. Her hands were stuffed inside her pockets, a lopsided smirk on her face. Her long locks of strawberry blonde hair gently swayed in the air as the cool breeze blew against her. Her peacock blue eyes stared at the girl about to approach the Forbidden Forest.

Kira didn't like to meddle with other people's business. Truth be told, she really didn't care if this girl broke the rules and entered the Forbidden Forest. She was just wandering around, enjoying a nice lonely walk after a long day of tiring classes, and happened to stumble here. When she caught a glimpse of the girl approaching the forest, Kira told herself to just turn around and go back to her dorm room to perhaps enjoy a short nap. But both boredom and curiosity drove her here to speak to the other girl.

Kira jumped down from the log, her hands still in her warm pockets to keep from the cold breeze.
"You know, it's called a Forbidden Forest for a reason, right?" She tilted her head sideways in question. She couldn't blame the girl for wanting to venture down into the forest that we were forbidden to go to. Kira herself wanted to take a peek, to see what secrets the school staff so badly wanted to keep from us.

Chloe jumped when she heard the voice. She didn't see anyone when she was walking. She turned to the girl on the tree.

"Well, I know that. But WHY is it the Forbidden Forest?" Chloe shrugs, laughing slightly. "And anyway, I wasn't going to go in it... yet." She looked at the girl's robes, noting that she's a Slytherin.

"You can't tell me you aren't wanting to explore and find out what's in that forest too? What are they hiding from us? Dragons? Trolls? Voldemort?" She laughs, thinking back to things she had read about. Voldemort, of course, was dead. He had been dead for several years, she was simply making a point.

Chloe looked back at the forest, taking a deep breath. Was she brave enough to step foot in the forest? Maybe she could if she wasn't alone. She contemplated if she should ask the Slytherin girl. She had heard bad things about Slytherin. She wasn't sure if they were true or not but thought that maybe, if someone was going to break the rules and explore, this girl would be one to do it with.

Kira thought on the girl's statement. Dragons.
Now that's something she would like to see.

Kira smirked at the girl. "Dragons, trolls, and Voldemort are all dangerous things. It'd be wise if you didn't go alone." Kira then stripped her robe off, leaving her in her Slytherin coloured vest, polo, and her skirt. She rolled  her sleeves to just above her elbows and tucked her robe by the log, placing it at an angle where it would not be that obvious that it was there, slightly hiding it from anyone who happened to walk by.

Kira strode past the girl and began making her way towards the forest, only stopping when she was just a few steps away from the nearest trees. Kira turned her head back to look at the girl and offered her a full smirk, mischief and trouble twinkling in her eyes.

"Come on, then. Let's go see what everyone wants to hide from us."

Kira turned back to continue facing the Forbidden Forest, heavy fog and mist shrouding the woods, giving it an eerily glow to it. She took a tentative step forward, then another. Then full on strides into the woods. She didn't bother turning back to see if the Hufflepuff girl followed her. She had a feeling the other girl's curiosity would drive her to follow Kira.

Curiosity killed the cat, a part of Kira's consciousness told her.
But satisfaction brought it back. The other half, that mischievous and sneaky side of her, snapped back.

Chloe watched her as she grinned excitedly. Finally. REAL adventure! Don't screw this up, Chloe. She heard the voice in her mind talking.

She copied the girl, taking off her robe and hiding it by the log. She made sure it was hidden as she bravely followed the girl into the forest. She quietly ran, trying to keep up. The girl was walking fast. After passing a few trees, Chloe caught up to the Slytherin girl.

"So, in case we do come across Voldemort or trolls, what do we do?" Chloe curiously asked the girl. She sounded so timid, so small. This wasn't something the was used to. She wasn't used to breaking the rules and putting herself into danger. At the same time, she was extremely curious about what exactly was in the forest that students were forbidden to enter. She felt the excitement rushing through her blood. She couldn't believe she was doing this. She turned as they walked through the trees, looking at the castle getting father away.

The sound of footsteps coming from beside her made Kira look to her left, and there she found the Hufflepuff girl walking alongside her. Knew it.

She looked to the girl as she asked a question, and Kira thought of a reply before looking forwards again. "Well, if we do come across Voldemort's ghost then I'd say close your eyes and make a run for it. I've heard stories of him being ridiculously ugly." Kira chuckled, remembering a memory from her younger childhood of her mother telling her haunting tales about Voldemort. She was only 4 years old when her mother told her the stories of how Voldemort used to scare children and slaughter families. Odd bedtime stories for a mother to tell her child, but her mother was just that way. Kira would always hide under the blankets, scared to the bone, but her mother would then describe (quite exaggeratedly) Voldemort's features and how he was blue like a smurf and had no nose, and that would always cheer Kira up with laughter.

"And if we come across any trolls, let's hope wizards aren't in their diet and they aren't hungry." Did trolls eat humans? Kira wasn't so sure.

Chloe took a deep breath as they walked, thinking about that the girl said. Hope wizards aren't on their diets.

"Okay, but what about dragons? What if we find some dragons? We're pretty much dead in that case" Chloe asked the girl. She heard some branches cracking far away to her left, and Chloe jumped. She slowed down, trying to calm herself down before she caught up to the girl again. The branches were probably just thestrals or something. She couldn't see them, so she wasn't sure.

The Slytherin girl seemed to not be nervous at all. Chloe wasn't sure if she was just really good at hiding it, or was genuinely not scared, but so far, she had only been walking. Not hesitating, not walking slowly. She had been walking like she was walking into completely familiar territory. Chloe took another deep breath as they walk, Chloe's hand close to her wand. She was trying not to think about the scary things that could be in this forest.

Giant spiders, snakes, dragons, trolls, Voldemort's ghost.

She couldn't decide if she was more excited to see what could be lurking in the forest in the shadows, or more terrified.

"Yes, we'd definitely be scorched by flames or ripped apart before we could even think to make a run for it," An image flashed in her mind, one of scaly creatures with fire breathing mouths and claws like knives ready to strike at their prey. Kira shivered at the thought. "Let's just hope we don't actually come across any."

Kira continued to walk, her eyes darting around the place to see if she could spot anything mildly interesting. So far, their walk in the Forbidden Forest had been. . . simpler than she expected. Bland. She expected to immediately come upon something cool and exciting, like giant spiders that won't eat her or something, but perhaps they needed to venture further in the deep woods.

A branch snapped nearby, and Kira's chestnut wood and unicorn hair wand was immediately pulled out of her pocket and held tight by her left hand, the wand's tip towards the source of the sound. She stared intently at the bush where the sound had seemed to come from, begging for it not to be dragons or anything hungry.

I would like to return to the castle in one piece, thank you. She thought to herself.

Chloe gasped again, standing behind the girl. She was holding her wand in her hand. She wasn't sure why- she didn't know any spells off the top of her head that could protect them- but for some reason, she still felt safer holding it. She faced the sound and took a deep breath as she heard a few more branches cracking, getting closer to them.

The trees were so thick, she couldn't see through them to identify what was making the sound. All she knew was that it sounded big.

"Hey....what is it? Do you see anything?' Chloe whispered, hoping the girl would tell her it was nothing dangerous. Chloe watched in the direction of the sound, waiting for something to step out of the shadows. A moment passed without a sound and Chloe realized she had been holding her breath. She released a breath as she saw a beautiful creature stepping out towards them.

A unicorn! Chloe stared in fascination at the beautiful horse-like creature. She dropped the arm holding her wand, putting it back in her pocket where it had been before.

I looked up creatures that could be found in the forbidden forest and thought that something scary and dangerous could happen a little bit deeper. Forbidden Forest Creatures

Kaiser made his way among the dense woods and thick grass. Somehow he had gotten lost and ended up in the forest, truth be told he wasn't sure what forest he was in, there were many man woods surrounding Hogwarts, he just hoped this was not the forest he as well as every other student was forbbiden to enter.

Truth be told he had a really really bad sense of orientation, something he became aware the first day he got to the castle and though he had managed to somehow deal with it on the castle with daily exploring a and the occasional realization he was not where he expected, it took time yes, but at least he didn't go lost in the castle anymore. But it seemed this awful sense of orientation was not limited to the castle, he was exploring the grounds, trying to expand his view of the castle and while attempting to find the stables or whatever it was where they kept the creatures for the Care of Magical Creatures class was, he ended up in this forest.

It had passed about an hour since then and though logic would demand him to go back from where he came from, he was more curious that that and got deeper in the forest, now he was sure he was lost. But as he started worrying, he heard a voice, no, not a a voice, two of them, female voices, non of which sounded familiar, or grown up so it was likely not a professor was among them. Thinking they could help the boy walked in their direction, breaking fallen sticks and the occasional branch that hit him in the face of course, all of that to get to the girls he heard talking, but it seemed his orientation was still bad in short distances, instead of reaching them face to face as he expected, he managed to get to them but appearing behind them "hey, what are you two doing here?" he said with a calm voice as he cleaned his hair from leaves, maybe not a nice or appropriate introduction, but one that could give him a lead on where they all were now.
