Why Would You?!
It had been three days since the ball went down in flames. Three days since her interrogation plan had failed. As much as she blamed herself for the organisation of the ball, someone else was to blame for Willow getting hurt and her personal plans failing. She had prepared for that day. She had high hopes for that day.@Rafael D'Spacito28th April
And it failed because Rafael D'Spacito lost control of either his fists, brain or both. Opeila had been angry. Very angry. For the last days she had just wanted to beat that stupid Gryffindor. Actually, she still wanted to beat that stupid Gryffindor, but she'd rather tell him what he had ruined with his thoughtless act. That it was likely him who turned the ball into an entirely unnecessary chaos of injured students. Not that he caused the injuries, but made it pointless. He had ruined the possibility to get anything out of Vladimir.
Unless he knew other things than she did. Maybe he had found something out that she didn't see. That was the main reason why she slipped a note to him at breakfast. If he didn't know anything... Well, maybe then Opeila got herself a chance to beat him after all.
It was no formal or friendly note. For that she was still to angry with him.D'Spacito,
Please meet me this evening after supper on the grounds. There is something we need to talk about.
-O. Seilun
After supper she would wait on the grounds, near the entrance, preparing herself to stay calm in the conversation that was about to come.

Rafa was a patient person.
Well, in hindsight, perhaps patience wasn’t the right adjective to describe the young man – after all, it wasn’t as if the child was renowned for his serene and tranquil attitude regarding problem-solving and ill acquaintances. There was a very fine line between anger and patience, yes, so what was the word the narrator was looking for? Receptive? Tolerant? Perhaps tolerant would work. Rafael was a tolerant person, especially in the more recent months of his expenditures at Hogwarts. After all, a lot had happened within the walls of the cursed school, some he’d seen with his own two eyes, some he’d heard about first-or-second-hand – his fellow students, he’d noticed, seemed to cope with the danger in different ways. Some drew into the shadows, learning to thrive off their pain, turning them into sour, dark individuals. Some found fear to be their companion. Some found strength in adversity, and decidedly pushed through the fear and darkness, reaching the peak of an ominous mountain of calamity and finding they rather liked the view. Perhaps Rafael was a mix of the three, anxious to what was going on, angry at those causing his mates grief, refusing to hide and let things pass. Tolerance could only go so far. Rafael was not tolerant to pain.
Pain – pain was, in a strange sort of way, the only thing that could throw the child’s mind off balance. You couldn’t see pain. But you could feel it, wherever you chose to venture, wherever you looked, be it in the past, the present, the future. Sometimes you could forget it was there, forget that the world was a horrible place where everything died and nothing good lasted. Forget that your mom’s warm hug only came at the expense of a family member. Forget that she’s dead, that they’re burning, that the world is on fire, a fire that no one can possibly hope to put out. And sometimes, you couldn’t. Watching his friends at the ball, Victor offering Wren flowers that were none too safe, Ana pricking her finger… walking along the cobblestone pavements that was the path to the grounds, the young Captain couldn’t help but shiver, pushing the thoughts from his head and his hands farther into their pockets. Anastasia and Wren were like his family, closer than anyone else could ever hope to be to the boy during his first year. He couldn’t lose any more family, not for anyone’s goddamned vendetta. There were some things you couldn’t ignore. Tolerate. The school was under siege by an enemy whose name no one really knew yet, save for the whispers of a murderer within the walls, witnesses, hags… the pain was lurking, the fear and danger only a heartbeat away from manifesting itself in the physical world and taking with it all that was good and right. Rafael just couldn't tolerate that.
Opeila’s letter, in a way, was no surprise to the Gryffindor Boy. After all, from afar, the girl seemed to be the sort of female to not tolerate crap from any child, especially the sort that ruined her marriage plans with her beautiful blonde-beauty boyfriend Vlad. [That guy was objectively hot. Not that looks mattered when someone was obviously evil. But sometimes they did.] Her opinions, of course, didn’t matter to the young Captain – why would they, when her decisions clearly spoke for her mettle socially? Where was she going, in buddying up to Vladimir? Only one direction, and it certainly wasn’t heaven. Her actions had… confused Rafael, initially, or perhaps a better term to describe his feelings, disturbed him. She’d seemed like such a lovely young woman upon their initial meeting, though he may have acted less than admirably… their interaction had left him wondering, pondering the meaning of being Slytherin. Of course, the curse proved true – Slytherins would always be cursed, and there was simply nothing the child could do about it. Perhaps that was the way the school was supposed to work. Perhaps Rafael would never truly understand.
Nonetheless, the girl’s Slytherin status would do nothing to hold him back from pursuing the meaning behind the girl’s mysterious meting offer.
Strolling through the grounds, the boy’s classic maroon Hollister Hoodie on, matched with dark blue skinny jeans and grass-stained sneakers, the boy ominously whistled the melody of ‘The Itsy Bitsy Spider’, his footsteps slow and head bowed as he approached the Slytherin girl. She was pretty, he absently noticed, her face much like that of Anastasia’s, and the new Gryffindor Keeper’s. Indy, was it? Ivy? It didn’t matter. He was here now, just like Opeila. The boy would nod towards what he would assume to be his verbal opponent, keeping his face starkly emotionless and barren as he spoke in a smooth tone. “Some meeting place,” he would begin trivially, much like Tony Stark would talk to someone lesser than him. “What is this, MI6?” Shrugging with a gesture of the head, he would begin pacing, his footsteps slow as he began to walk in an arc around the girl. Whether she followed him, would be up to her. Then, stopping what would be behind her back should she stand still, seemingly giving his next words some considerable thought, he looked up wryly, shrugging. “Listen, it’s nothing personal – I don’t want to join your super-secret boyband.” His nose scrunched. “Girl-band. What do you even call those these days?” His mouth was running once again, his impulse control failing him miserably as he searched the grounds for another face to bear witness to the events unfolding before his eyes. Was there anyone to watch his monologue? Truly enjoy his genius? Or more relevantly, would there be anyone to save him from the wrath of Opeila? “Look, if this is about your boyfriend, I should have you know that he started it.” Did that fact matter? Probably not. But that wouldn’t stop him from stating the obvious.
I probably haven't collected my allowance yet.

Why Would You?!
He actually showed up. Somehow Opeila didn't count on it. It was weird how she could say of herself that she stood up for her mess one way or the other, but was surprised when others did the same.
Another thing she was very aware of, was that standing up for ones mess and agreeing with the accuser made it almost inpossible to hold up an accusation. Opeila used that tactic quite much. And it annoyed her even more that she fell for her own method. It was harder to be angry with him now that he was there to talk. The secret, very irrational part in her wished he wouldn't have come. So she could just keep being angry with him, even more then.
But of course this was not about her. This was bout making up for the failure of a ball. Opeila needed a clear mind.
Rafael walked past her, starting to make some sarcastic, almost defensive comments, that confused her. What on earth... and then he called Vladimir her boyfriend. Opeila walked after him, shaking her head. "Yeah... I think I have no idea what you are talking about"
Why was this boy so confusing the moment he opened his mouth? And blind obviously. "And seems like you are completely wrong informed. Fortunately one could say, because otherwise I would have almost thought about considering you an enemy. Vladimir Athanatos is not my boyfriend." She put her hands into the pockets of her coat. "It seems like you didn't even think for a moment that there could be people with a better plan, that they thought through for longer than 2 minutes. I assume that's about the time you needed to come up with yours. It got one of my friends hurt and destroyed my plans. So I have asked you to meet me here, hoping that you were somewhere successful."
She felt her insides heating up with anger again. "For Merlin's sake, I hope you got something, otherwise you successfully made this chaos of injured students that the ball was completely pointless."
Oh she wanted to yell at him. Ask him why he didn't use whatever was inside that thick skull of his back then. But she forced herself to stay calm. Her face was straight, emotionless, as the other option would have been anger. So she walked next to Rafael, waiting for his answer.
