Well, Hello There PV Marco Smythton Closed

Hogwarts' weather was always nice. Honestly, Mars was pretty sure it hadn't rained a day they'd been here, other than during their first Herbology lesson. Whistling, they meandered out onto the field with nothing much on their mind. Homework had been easier to manage than they'd assumed and all their professors so far had been wonderful. Most of the wixes that had bothered to interact with the Ravenclaw hadn't been entirely bad either.

But boarding school came with one drawback—there was no place to go and nothing to do. Always the same surroundings and the same activities. That's why Mars always jumped at the chance to participate in any and all activities offered by the Hogwarts' staff. But today—they were bored.

The sun smiled down on them lazily. Maybe it was bored too. Whatever the case, it made perfect weather to sunbathe and forget about life for a hot moment.

Finding a warm patch in the middle of the grass, they plopped down, falling from a sitting position to the laying one a split second later. They crossed their arms behind their head and looked out at the blue sky. It really was great weather. It was honestly too bad that most wixes didn't have an interest in muggle sports. It would have been a great day for a game of soccer.

Mars smiled at the blooming clouds. Soccer was just another good memory of their brothers. It was, in a way, the ultimate equalizer; make even teams, kick a ball around, avoid each other's noses, everyone's happy. Even the twins didn't mind being split up for the sake of a good game.

Anyway, it didn't matter much around here. Quidditch was the reigning sport in terms of popularity. Mars wondered how some people could be such hardcore fans of a sport, but then, wasn't it the same in the muggle world?

They sighed. Again, thinking of home, are you Mars? It seemed they'd never be able to escape it. Oh well. Hogwarts was a fine place and the wizarding world was beautiful, but some part of them would always miss home. They looked out across the lake, surface shining clear in the light of the sun. Mars snickered. The one thing they wouldn't miss though was swim unit during PE. Maybe sometimes it was a good thing that wizards didn't value physical ability as much.

They turned their attention back to the sky. It was clear out as always, bright with no obstructions. Until—a shadow appeared in front of Mars' face. They grinned.

"What's up, kid?"
Hi, sorry I'm so late! I got caught up in something and forgot to start this.

[ Home, they said. I should like to go home. ]
