Lisabetta found herself smiling as she walked across the very large grounds of the Hogwarts Castle. She had her bag full of her books and some parchment, ink, and quill, as always, you never knew when you would find the need to take notes on something. Lisabetta was aware that this kind of thinking was something a Ravenclaw would have, definitely not a common trait amongst her fellow Gryffindors. Thinking of Ravenclaw brought Lisabetta's mind to Horace, who she had met at the Dueling Room not long ago. She had failed, miserably, in her first duel against him, but she had learned a lot and that is all she had really cared about. She had remembered Horace suggesting that they meet up to work on some spells together and had taken it upon herself to make that happen.

She made it to the edge of the Forbidden Forest, loving the feel of the shade that the trees brought. It wasn't a very hot day, but the sun was still very bright and out so the shade was necessary. Lisabetta had always had very pale skin, even with her Italian roots, and did not like risking being out in the sun for too long. Being sunburnt was not only very uncomfortable, but it wasn't very fun to look like a lobster either.

She leaned against one of the very strong trees, crossing her legs at the ankle, so not to expose too much of her legs. She was wearing a simple blue dress that matched her eyes and had her hair down, happy that is was finally growing out. She took out on of her books, skimming through as she waited to see if Horace had received her owl and decided to come out.

Horace was happy finally spending some time alone in the common room as he usually wandered around the castle. But today with a wonderful sunny weather he just wanted to relax as he read a book. While Horace was reading he just realised that he was supposed to be in the grounds.

He promised Lisa that they will practice some spells together. He scrabbled about as got ready and ran for it as he was already a bit late. He ran through the castle slipping through the daily commute. He greeted the usual students as he went on his way. He ran all the way to the edge of the forbidden forest where Lisa was already waiting.

He was all messy and panting "....well that was all the exercise i needed for the say.... and sorry to be late....but i am here now.....better late than never right". He just recovered himself as he leaned on the tree next to Lisa. He didn't want to just jump to the spells right away. So he just relaxed a bit enjoying the nice weather as he closed his eyes calmly. He then stood straight "So Anyways how are you doing today? You look good by the way"

Lisabetta was starting to get worried, maybe she hadn't addressed her letter correctly and her owl was not able to find Horace, or maybe she had asked him to meet her somewhere else and he was there waiting for her. It would not look good for her to have asked someone to go somewhere and then not even show up herself. She decided she would wait a few more moments and if he still hadn't shown up she would go looking for him. Just as she was about to gather up her things, she saw him hurrying towards her. She was a little taken aback by his appearance, he was normally so poised and polished, but seeming him this way actually brought a small smile to Lisabetta's face. It was nice to know that she wasn't the only one who could slip up every now and then.

She had taken to Horace quickly, him understanding what it was like to come from a high society pure blood family, having the expectations of his family on his shoulders. He seemed to take to his responsibilities better than Lisabetta was taking to hers, but who knows, maybe he was just better at hiding it than she was. Either way, she enjoyed being around someone else that understood her struggle, and it didn't hurt that he was slightly easy on the eyes. As soon as the thought crossed her mind she shook it away, no way would she start developing any type of crush on him. She was just here to learn as much as she could and figure out what she wanted out of life. He just happened to be one of the most intelligence people that she had met so far here.

She smiled at him, moving over slightly on the tree she was leaning against so he could have a little bit more room.

"I was actually starting to worry that I had asked you to meet me somewhere else and I had left you waiting." She readjusted herself as he spoke, making sure that her dress hadn't raised up at during her time sitting there.

"I am doing quite well today, and I hope you are as well. Thank you, you look quite nice yourself, although a little bit different than usual."

After a bit of heavy breathing and relaxing when he finally was looking much better, more of himself that is, then he replied "Yep a 'bit' different of course i do not have any idea how i got here in time. Got the shabbiest look and ran all that way and still you can identify me well thats as good as it gets i guess" He said with a giggle.

"But what were we gonna do again?...yeah spells well i haven't prepared anything....uh....what about you do you have any in mind? If not i may just go through a few simple charms i was practicing" He discussed with Lisa as he searched he remembered he forgot to bring his book. "Well looks like i left my book back at the common room but no worries i am pretty sure i remember enough spells to practice for today.

He exclaimed as he confidently walked ahead to a bit more clear space and took out his wand. "So what will you like to practice usual charms or some dueling spells? i am not to good at charms myself but then again i will also get some practice out of this or i can teach you some nice dueling moves! you choose."

Lisabetta had to stop herself from smiling at how scattered the Ravenclaw boy was being at the moment. It was so unlike him, or at least, what Lisabetta had assumed he was like from the short amount time she had known him. She started to feel a little bad about having had invited him out, it certainly appeared that he was having a relaxing day off and not worrying about schoolwork. She really hoped that he hadn't come out here just because he was worried about standing her up, and especially not because of her status. This was a concern that Lisabetta had almost her entire life, wondering if people were really wanting to hang out with her or doing this extra for her because they liked her as a friend, or if they just didn't want to upset her family. She knew that Horace was aware of her family and her title, but she thought that they had gotten over all of that when they had first met.

"Horace, if you had other things to do today you are more than welcome to reschedule this. I don't want you to put anything on hold, even just relaxing, to be here. Our studies aren't going anywhere."

She had been looking forward to this study session so that she could learn more charms and spells, and to get to know Horace better, so she wished he stayed but understood if he didn't.

Horace noticed Lisa smiling at his looks and he couldn't do much about it he admits he isn't well dressed as he should be meeting some highborn like Lisa. He just thought maybe Lisa would be thinking how disorganized or messy he is but in such a situation Horace doesn't think much of it whatever happens just happens.

Lisa shows her concern of Horace's schedule and that they could do this later if needed. Horace understood whats going on Lisa's mind well kinda a bit. He didn't need to be a prince to understand such problems. Lisa must be thinking he is here because of her family status .Well that would be partly true but it isn't like he is forced by her blood to be here. Its still better company than many of his cousins. It was hard to find a humble highborn nowadays.

"Oh come on practicing spells is just as relaxing for me. Its no big deal really. Now will just stand there like a princess or actually ready your wand? Oh yeah i forgot you are a princess. Well princess how about you show me some nice spells you have learnt so far." Horace taunted her trying to get her to focus on spells instead of all this.

Lisabetta was very excited to hear that Horace did want to continue with their practicing together, she had been, secretly, looking forward to it ever since she had invited him. It was really nice to be making friends here, and friends of her own choice, not ones pushed on her, although Horace would definitely be someone that her family wouldn't mind her being around. He seemed to be a respectful type person, and his family were VERY highborn pure-bloods, the perfect type of person to be around her. Personally, Lisabetta never minded what someone's blood status was, as long as they were decent people and treated others with respect, Lisabetta didn't mind being around them. She had never liked it when she had seen some of her other family member's look down on others or be straight disrespectful to them just because of who their families were or what their blood status was.

Lisabetta blushed slightly when Horace called her a princess.

"I'm only a Dutchess, my mother is the Princess." She knew that he probably hadn't meant it that way, but her status had always embarrassed her, and she was no way ready to be a Princess. She got out her wand, standing exactly opposite of him. She was happy to just focus on spells and nothing else, it is exactly why she spent so much time studying, she loved losing herself in the world of spells and charms. She didn't have to think long before she found what she wanted to practice. She had been reading about this spell for a while and had been getting kind of good at casting it. She had been practicing on a frog, getting it to sing, so she wondered how effective it would be on a person. She pointed her wand at Horace.

"Cantis!" She spoke the incantation, not breaking concentration as a white light shot from her wand at Horace. She hoped he didn't think she was trying to cause any harm to him, she just really wanted to see if the spell would work.

Lisa corrected him that she was a dutchess and not a princess. Horace didn't really care about it "Princess, dutchess its all the same to me. At the end you are royalty and thats what matters i guess" Horace thought this would hurt the pride of Lisa as he knew how much royal people cared about of their titles but he thought surely Lisa would be above it as she even lets everyone call her by her name here and not use her title.

Lisa got ready in front of Horace and took out her wand. This simply was asking for a duel which is not what he really had in mind but he wasn't gonna interfere as he didn't mind blocking a few spells. But before Horace really thought of something Lisa casts a spell which he didn't pay attention to what it is. Well no matter what spell it is usually Horace just blocks it with one simple spell kreffent taught him. But as he was gonna block it he just stopped and instead smiled as the white light strikes him. He thought well he was here to teach her some spells not to show off his own abilities and he hasn't really been hit by any spells yet he wanted to see what did she cast. And also he thought maybe she would take it badly if he just undermined her at every spell.

The spell hits and nothing happens Horace smiles thinking it didn't work. But as he speaks "Well seems like it didn't work..." he stops he isn't talking he is singing the words. After a few seconds he realised its cantis it has to be it but it didn't work as intended. It should have made him sing uncontrollably but in this case he could remain silent if he wanted to. He grinned as he continued "Oh seems like your spell didn't work but it isn't a problem we can't fix and i don't know why i sound like a Opera singer". After a bit of teasing with his "amazing" voice he took out his wand touched it to his neck and.....sang "Finite!" and the spell's effects were no more. "well that was something....interesting to say the least" He laughed.

Lisabetta pushed his comment aside, not wanting to dwell on things that had nothing to do with her current conversation. She didn't care what he thought her status was, as long as he continued to treat her like any other student, she was fine.

Lisabetta couldn't hold back a burst of laughter at the way the spell had effected Horace. It didn't work the way that it was supposed to, but it was still a pretty funny reaction. She realized, rather quickly, that she shouldn't be laughing at him like this, it was extremely rude. She quickly got herself together, but had a hard time hiding the grin on her face. She knew that it needed to be tweaked slightly, but she was happy that Horace was willing to help her work on it. She knew she wasn't the best at casting spells, but she loved to learn. She wanted to get the most out of this study session as possible.

"Do you have any spells that you would like to work on? I think it would work best if we see if the spells will actually work out, versus just deflecting them. That way we can see what we need to fix on each spell."

Horace agreed that they should try to test the spells and observe their effects. After a bit of thinking Horace replied "....Well i do have a few spells i would like to try but i don't know what effects they will have exactly." Horace seemed serious on the use of spells on each other. "Like i do agree if you want to test out some spells to see their effects but to use a spell on a fellow student without being really sure of its effects seems dangerous to me.

Horace always believed in a sense of order and following the rules. And the rules of the school were to not harm any other students even unintentionally. Horace was duelist though he was a first year but he studied a lot of duels and such before hogwarts. He knew the ways to duel as well as the dangers of duels. Thats not to say this was a duel its just mere practice but he knew a lot can go wrong actually.

After a bit of serious consideration and trying to find out some way to practice without harming each other Horace spoke "Hmm...So i think we can work this out how about we get targets for practice. Now lets see if this works...." He took out his wand with a serious look pointed it in a random empty direction and focused as he spoke "Avis!". A few birds shot out his wand. Well this wasn't the most beautiful birds but Horace smiled as he seemed proud that at least his spell worked. "There you go now we have targets and i don't think they would mind much if we try a few harmless spells on them. I wanted to practice my Confundus charm for quite some time now. I'll go first.." Horace points his wand towards a bird as he casts the spell "Confundo!". The birds first seems to be unaffected but as it tries to fly it seems to be confused as if it forgot how to fly falling to the ground as he tries over and over. Horace smiled seeing the spell worked.

He grinned as he thought this would be a nice time to teach a new spell to Lisa which would be quite helpful to her. "Oh look at the poor bird...won't you help him princes-i mean dutchess. You will have to cast a simple counter spell its a handy one as it can counter any spell thats already casted." Horace does seem to be taunting often and kind of irritating but according to him this brought up the competitive side of others as to make them better at everything. He came beside Lisa as he continued kind of whispering to make her concentrate "Look its pretty easy just point your wand focus and the wand movement would be a 'Z' like pattern kind of zig zag and the incantation would be 'Finite Incantatem'...now try it".
