Sunset Conversations
Cleo was admittedly having a hard day, what with receiving a bad grade in Astronomy just that morning and decidedly rushing up to the Owlery to see if her father had sent her a letter only to find nothing; she was feeling particularly vulnerable. So rather than run into someone that may be able to pick and prod at her already fuming being she took to the Hogwarts grounds despite the chilling evening air. The sky was smeared with gorgeous pinks, blues and deep purples as the blazing sun set just beyond the horizon. If there was one thing Cleo could say about Hogwarts it was that it was insanely beautiful. The dense forestry that outlined the grounds held an eerie shadow, the mountains looming above all their heads reminded her that she was still a small girl despite her occasional belief that she was bigger than life itself, and the castle was a historical masterpiece filled to the brim with aging stone walls, dusting tapestries, and stories from years of consistent use.
Her father, if not a muggle, would adore the area and the history within Hogwarts walls. He would spend hours cooped up in the library, studying every and any happenings in the Wizarding world until he mastered every inch of every history book. Cleo wasn't like that, of course. She had an appreciation for beauty, but her mind was not equipped for studies; rather it was more equipped for action. She was a creator, an innovator. Primarily a writer. On days like this she would have her journal on her if only to write down the bumbling words rolling around in her head to calm the worries that never ceased. So that was where she could be found, sitting below a large Sycamore tree deep in the grounds of Hogwarts - watching the sunset with keen eyes, and writing out her thoughts word for word, wondering why life had to be so oddly mesmerizing yet also so inherently difficult; and why at eleven years old she should have to even think these specific thoughts rather than enjoying her childhood.

Sunset Conversations
Cleo had gotten up to switch spots, tailbone sore from sitting against the tree for too long. Her fingers grasped the edges of her notebook, quickly examining the lyrics of a new song she was working on before closing it and standing upright. There was no one around her from what she could tell, closer to the lake and further down the bank she was shrouded in the evening sunset. A small sigh past her lips as she turned to trek her way up the small incline and find another sitting spot, maybe somewhere a little more comfortable. She pulled her cloak tighter around her small frame as a blast of cool air brushed up against her, feet taking her down the bank and towards what looked to be a small alcove by a group of bushes. The bushes would shield her from the wind, no doubt.
Not paying any attention as she padded her way downwards, Cleo was shocked when a young girl came out from behind the bushes, clearly not paying attention either. "Ah, h-" Her warning words were cut off as the other ran into her, knocking herself and Cleo to the ground. Thankfully, because she saw it coming, Cleo put her hands out to catch herself but the other girl ( she was adorned in Hufflepuff colors, Cleo noted idly ) had taken a nasty fall down the embankment, the sound of her head hitting the ground an unsatisfying crack. Quickly Cleo stood, brushing herself off and tiptoeing down the hill towards the unconscious girl, genuine worry settling over her like a heavy blanket.
Once she was by her side Cleo crouched down, hands laying flat on the girls shoulders, examining her closed eyes. The first thing Cleo took note of was she was still breathing, but she must have at least hit her head... otherwise she wouldn't have been knocked out. "Hey... hey wake up." Cleo demanded, shaking her body with a firm grip, "Hey, are you okay? You need to wake up." She wondered if maybe she should go get someone... but would they blame her? Cleo's reputation at school wasn't the best, someone might say she pushed her out of anger. Cleo lifted her hand then, gently tapping the girls cheek to see if that would help.
