Festival Grounds
Oktoberfest Grounds
The Oktober Festival grounds are small, and located off the side of the the Groundkeeper's cabin. It includes a large pumpkin patch, with magically large pumpkins as well as regular pumpkins. Come here to pick out your pumpkin for the carving contest late in the month! You can only take one that you can carry though, so be careful.
Here as well is a corn maze, created and carved by our staff for the students to run and frolic in. Feel free to race your friends in solving the maze. Don't worry about getting lost, though, the maze will magically lead one out if they find themselves turned around.
This is an IC location for your character to roam between before curfew. Make sure to follow all OOC rules including 200 words per post. This location will only be open for the month of October.

Amber was extremely excited about this fairground. She walked around and looked at the pumpkins trying to decide whether to get one now or wait for another time. She decided that the pumpkins could wait for now but she still walked through them. It was very calming and relaxing so she walked around them for a while.
It was relatively empty but there was at least one other girl. She watched the girl go in the maze but didn't think anything about it. She continued going through the maze and walked for a while before she realized the girl was still in there. Amber flashed back to a time when she got lost in a corn maze and her parents didn't even look for her. She wanted to go help that girl because she knew what it felt like so she went in there to look for her.
Amber looked through the maze and eventually found a dead end where the girl was sitting down, probably waiting for someone. She walked up to the girl and held out her hand to grab it.
"Hi, I'm Amber. I realized that you were in here for a while so I wanted to go make sure you were ok." She sat down next to her for a while "Do you want some help finding your way out of here? I think it would be fun to work together on this."

With her help accepted Amber was ready to help solve this puzzle. The plan was for them each to go separate ways and to meet back at the dead end. Amber walked down a pretty clear path that had no brambles and she continued walking. The path went on for a while so this was probably the way to go.
Amber continued going along the path for a while. Amber then realized that it had been more than 10 minutes that she had been gone. She rushed back following the path that she had been on and made her way back to the dead end. "Sorry for the delay, I just lost track of the time." Amber sat back down with the girl to explain what they both found. "I found a relatively long path that I think might be the way. What did you find?" After the girl explained what she found, Amber realized she didn't know her name. "You know, I never actually got your name..."
The path still loomed ahead but there was plenty of daylight and there was time for a conversation. Amber didn't mind how long they stayed there and she honestly didn't mind how long it took to get out of the maze, she honestly just wanted it to be a fun thing to do with this possible new friend.

As they started walking Stella started up a conversation about Octoberfest and Amber was glad to have a chance to get to know her. "Well, I want to go Trick or Treating since my parents never let me go when I was younger." This Halloween was going to be her best yet and Amber was excited about this opportunity. They continued walking along and Stella asked a few more questions.
Amber noticed that they came to a crossroad but only when Stella pointed it out. "Hmm, well I think we should go to the right. It looks a bit spookier but it also looks like it might be the direction to go in, plus it's Halloween so a little spooky is pretty fun!" Amber took Stella's hand and let her down the right path.
"I think I want to be a Neko, they are cool and I have always wanted wolf ears and A wolf tail. What do you want to be?"So, do you know what you want to be for Halloween?
"I am, I never really got to do anything for Holloween so the fact that there's this big party is fascinating and exciting."Are you excited?
"Not quite yet, I think I'm going to wait till the pumpkin carving contest is closer."Have you picked out a pumpkin to carve yet?
And, um, which way do we turn?

"Harly Quin sounds like a great idea! Maybe you could find someone to be the joker or something." As they went down the creepy path Stella ran off and Amber noticed that she went towards somthing shiny. Amber kind of wanted to check it out too so she went down the path afer Stella before there were a few turns. Amber tried to follow her the whole way but wasn't able to.I think I'll be Harly Quin from that muggle thing
Amber found herself lost in the maze and looked around. There was just a few dead ends but she could'nt find where she had come from. Great... now we're lost and don't know how to get back to stella Amber knew she had to stay in there for stalla though so she stayed as calm as she could. Amber looked around and eventually found an area that wasn't a dead end and reconized that as the path she came from.
As she steped ofut of the area that was almost completely comprised of dead ends a few of the leaves crunched under her feet. She made her way back to where they were when Stella ran towards the shiny thing and tried to find her. Amber walked down the path again looking for the place she ran off to.

Festival Grounds
The festival. Something that came out of nowhere, at least by Thea's standards and kept her surprised by new adventures coming, also out of nowhere, also by Thea's standards. The baking workshop, the Butterbeer Tasting tent thing, a lot of things you had to sign up for and now the festival grounds being off to the side, but still beautiful, decorated by both large and normal pumpkins, along with a corn maze.
Thea was... excited, to say the least.
She loved Halloween and the month of October, and if they got to have some fun, she was all up for that. She wasn't the most social person though, making finding anyone who would want to talk to her or be partnered with her during the aforementioned baking workshop was hard. The girl sighed, keeping her trusty bag close to her sides, walking towards the maze and sat down by the entrance to get a good view at the magically enlarged pumpkins. She wanted to draw them as her sister would definitely love to get at least some of a look at the world she's living in now.
The girl started to sketch, not much of realistic drawing of the pumpkin patch, but hearing whatever was happening in the maze behind her made her... curious, to say the least. She got up, packing her things back in her bag and entered the maze with a curious expression, turning left, as she always did. Where people went right, she went left. She heard once that going right is the sure fire way to get out of a maze, but no.
Thea continued her journey, walking further and further into the maze.

Festival Grounds
The cool, autumnal air swirled around Devina. An assortment of leaves laid upon the ground. Reds, oranges, golds. The leaves were beautiful. Devina imagined what it looked like back at home. Every year she and her older brother would gather up all the leaves in their yard, and and play in them, tossing them in the air and watching as the many colorful leaves floated around them. Her cat, Moon, would also play in the leaves with them, attacking the leaves as they landed on her small nose.Open to Interactions
The festival grounds were now open for the entire month of October, as part of the Oktoberfest celebration.
Devina walked onto the grounds admiring the many pumpkins she saw. Some were normal. But the others, they were enormous. Magical pumpkins they were. And her favorite. She walked over to the patch of pumpkins. He decided she was going to pick out her pumpkin early, so she could pick the best one.
Walking along the field of pumpkins, she ran her fingers over each one. Her mother always told her how to choose the best pumpkin. The best ones were the brightest shade of orange, were firm to the touch, and had smelled strongly of pumpkin. She felt each pumpkin, feeling the ridges in each, looking for the perfect one. She wanted the perfect pumpkin to win win the contest at the end of the month.
After walking about halfway through the patch, she came across what seemed like the perfect pumpkin. It was such a bright orange, it could be seen yards away. As orange as the the sun at dawn. She picked it up. The large, heavy pumpkin sat in her arms. Devina knocked on it to check its firmness. Perfect. She lifted it to her nose, the tip red from the chilly air. It definitely smell like fresh pumpkin. Yes! She found it. This would surely help her win the contest.
There was only one thing left to do. She took the large pumpkin, struggling to carry it, and went over to a large tree on the grounds. She put the pumpkin down at the trunk of the tree. She sat doen next to it, nestling herslef between thr thick roots of the oak tree. She wrapped her olvie colored cardigan around her and began to hum the tune of "Popular" from the Broadway show, Wicked.
