Marissa squealed in delight as her snowball hit James and let out another giggle as Lucette's snowball hit him, he must be shivering by now. She grabbed another handful of snow and began packing it to form a ball, she stopped as snow sprayed up into her face. James appeared beside her, asking for a truce. She nodded and then motioned towards her sister who also wanted to join in on the truce. The cold snow was causing her to shiver slightly, even though she was wearing her coat, scarf and thermals underneath. She looked up from her work to keep checking around to see if any snowballs were coming her way.

Once Marissa, James and Claryssa successfully made 4 snowballs each, she stood quickly with one clutched in her hand. She didn't know many other people here, that she could see, so she pick a random boy. Another Hufflepuff, just for the fun of it. She found the perfect target when she saw a the Head Boy, Reid Kovacs. She pulled back her arm and shot it at the boy to hopefully hit him on the back of his head.

Rosemary has been relatively busy in the recent times. It was, indeed, that times of the month again. The time was she had to lock herself in that hideous location. Cold, Ice, Dark. Mistakes could take away everything and it was a crucial matter in her current life. Nevertheless, Rosemary was not in a position where she could complain. Her situation was unique, singular. She also had to be grateful to the Headmaster, but also to the Deputy Headmaster for keeping the secret about her unfortunate situation.

Sighing, the Italian woman has been down into the dungeon for a few hours. She had to prepare that potion. It was necessary if she wanted to be able to stay who she was. However, her body was starting to miss the light coming from the sun, but also, the fresh air. Brewing potion in the dungeon was rather inconvenient. In that sense, the professor of Potion extinguish the fire and had initiated her ascension to the internal ground of the castle. She thought that perhaps, it was the right location for her to enjoy some bit of nature.

However, she was mistaken. Once she arrived, the ground was not empty like usual, but full of students and even professors. It was a snowball fight. How... Childish. She liked it. Even if she only had a small coat on herself, one that she had taken from the dungeon, she decided to participate. Why not? she would not have that many opportunities and it could be relaxing.

She looked around and saw one of her colleagues. He was the perfect target, victims. She discreetly grinned and took a large amount of snow in her bare hand. Cold. A natural element. The creation of ice. The snow was something mystical. The burn from it was as intense as the one created by her paradoxical element, the fire. The professor of Potion threw her snowball hoping secretly hoping that it would get to her target, the professor of Transfiguration.

Lucette yelped victoriously as her snowball flew straight towards her target. She couldn't bring herself to duck down as her snowball exploded into white powder across the Hufflepuff boys chest; The sight was too wonderful a spectacle to behold. She heard her pal Eris scream victoriously, and Lucette turned her head towards her as she ducked down, a huge lopsided smile on her face. She whooped as her friend dived behind the wall of the fort along with the rest of them. Just glancing at their faces made her heart swell with emotion. *So this is what friendship feels like...She broke into a wild grin, as her hands quickly went to scoop more snow.

With soft crunches she formed a snowball in her hand, her face practically beaming like a light-bulb. The adrenaline was surely pumping now, and she needed a new target. *Perhaps a Ravenclaw this time?* Hitting members of the other houses would surely be easy; their colored scarves and robes gave their aligned house away. She straightened her knees, her arm ready to swing once more, until she noticed the Hufflepuff boy she hit was aiming right for her! With a small yelp, her glove let her snowball drop to the ground, and she bent her knees once more, hoping that she made it in time for the wall of their fort to protect her.

The Groundskeeper turned in the direction the snowball had come from, giving the boy a thumbs up for hitting him. Darren wasn't a hard target to miss but what mattered was that the children were having fun with it. He had spotted a snow fort being made, a team forming but it didn't look to be a bad thing. There were plenty of other students who were off on their own and others only having a truce and teaming up. He preferred to keep to himself, let his daughter form her own friendships without him getting in the way. This could be that kind of a time for her, rallying together with others and forming bonds with them.

There was no telling when the snowball fight would be over. Some were still coming late to the party, so to speak. A professor wandered in, the one that he had seen around the grounds sometimes but never confronted. He was shy and kept to himself, and didn't want to bother any of the other staff during their time away from their paperwork. Was she joining in? He smiled at that, glad that even the professors were getting in on the fun too. Just like the children, they couldn't stay inside all day in those stuffy rooms with their heads in books. No, fresh air was needed even for them. Rolling up a snowball, he grinned a big, toothy grin and launched the ball towards the professor.

Smirking, she was happy to have gotten someone, especially the Gryffindor girl since she did attack her earlier in the game. Looking back quickly at Ben, she smiled and ran away from the area. She felt like right now was perhaps the best time to hide. She just wanted to dodge all of the snowballs. Who knows? How many other people are going to choose to hit her and she get plummeted with too many balls to count? It would hurt depending on their aim and charge.

Bloom ran to a nearby bush and ducked behind it. She tried to usher Ben to follow her, but she was unsure of what plot scheme he wanted to do, and in this game, it's survival. Bending her knees and hiding as low as she can behind the bush, she hoped that no one would be able to find her, let alone hit her. She needed a second to recuperate and decide who to get next. She then wondered, what if she got Ben?

She also saw that Reid was playing, but he seemed to be around the Gryffindor girl that she hit earlier. Good, she joked. Bloom decided that perhaps just lurking and deciding her next victim was best to do.

Oh god, she hadn't hit her snowball. Really? And she was so confident in it, too. A wave of disappointment flowed through her system, but it was quickly shoved to the side. Just before she was going to pick up more snow, she felt a ball of snow create impact on her back. She turned around to eye whoever it was, but only to pick out one suspect - her dad. She had to get him back for that. Otherwise, she would probably be more disappointed in her self more than anything.

Though, again, just as she bent down to get some more snow, she got hit again! This time it wasn't even fair, and the backs of her legs were now cold, and slightly stinging from the impact of the snow. She turned to look and see who that was, too, only to find no one looking her way. She huffed, and she turned her thought process back to her dad. She picked up snow, thankfully not getting interrupted by getting hit with snowballs this time, and formed it into a respectably beautiful snowball.

Entertaining herself with the way the natural light shone off of the ball of white, she took a few seconds to throw the ball. She had never been good at pitching, but she pretended that she was playing baseball, like the muggles did. She sucked at it in muggle school, and she probably sucked at it even more around here. People seemed to be hitting snowballs left and right, meanwhile she's missed all of her shots so far!

Finally, she decided to aim and 'pitch' her snowball, and it sailed towards her father.

Peach had missed her throw and she frowned a little bit after seeing the failed attempt. Her cloak was soaked and her hair was a mess, she was out of breath and her cheeks were rosy and her eyes glittering with joy. She didn't know most of the students who were battling and she had troubles recognizing faces. She had seen most of them in the corridors, the same thing for the professors. She wondered who she would target next, as the number of people she knew was limited. She didn't want to hit a professor as it may affect her total end of year grades. She was standing a little to the side of the battle, in a safe place when she looked over at Dmitri.

He seemed to be enjoying his time here and he was very good at hitting people with snowballs. Peach smiled at the sight and bent down to grab some snow in her cold hands. Before she did, she slightly blew on them to heat them up. She grabbed a handful of snow and made it into a ball, ready to attack. She stood up and she stopped when she saw her Slytherin friend aiming at her. The young Hufflepuff dropped her snowball and dodged the best she could.

Missed again. Mary was mumbling about it and didn't notice the snowball that was flying towards her... and hit her right in the face. She didn't expect it and looked around to found the responsible for it but since everyone was throwing snow balls at everyone she couldn't determine who it was. She thought about hiding somewhere, but the only thing she could thought about was building a wall, and before it would be done, the battle would be over.
Of course she was frustrated that both her attempt failed but it was a game so she decided that she will not get this get on her optimism. She lower to gather some snow and started to make her third snow ball, scanning the surroundings to see who will be her next target (or what since she was not very good). Shall she keep the same one or aim it at some else? Close to her was Peach, one of her dorm companion. She had tried to hit a Slytherin boy but didn't succeed, plus she saw the boy targeting her in revenge.  Even if Mary was not very good, she could steel try. She did her best and pitch the ball towards the boy

The boy threw his hands up in disbelief, how could he aim so bad? The snowball was so off that it hit a tree of all the places. He might as well have surrendered there. Yet he didn't know there were people who had him in their sights though. If he didn't know any better, there were people out to get him. Being someone else's target was the last of his worries. He glanced around to see who was playing, some people he knew and some he didn't. Bloom and Ben looked like they were having a riot, Sabrina looked like she was on a warpath against her dad.

A rare smirk was plastered on his features as he bent down to scoop up some of the ammunition in his hands. The boy began to pack it as he looked for his next victim, a Hufflepuff, no, a Slytherin, no, a Gryffindor - yes. He drew his arm back and in that moment he noticed that there was something coming his way. He only saw one of them and attempted to throw himself aside to dodge it. In the meantime, he ended up dropping his snowball in the process. Darn, he was aiming for someone in Gryffindor too.

Serena flinched slightly again. What was wrong with her aim?! This was the second time she had hit someone in the face - and she did not enjoy that. All she wanted to do was help out the poor Ravenclaw that looked like he was being ganged up on. Hitting another randomer in the face was not part of the deal. Though, it was starting to become a bit amusing how bad her game was going. So far, she had been hit in the face once and hit two people in the face as well. There were a lot of face shots involved and pretty much nothing else.

It was pretty funny that her target fell into the snow though. Laughing softly, Serena covered her mouth with her hand. Whoops! That was mean but it was still pretty hilarious. She looked over to the Ravenclaw, as her target definitely pumped his fist at his hit. Smiling at him, she nodded in return of the boy's wave and show of gratitude.

It would have been more amusing if it was Reid that had fallen over though. Speaking of which, Serena glanced back over her shoulder. Reid had completely missed her. Like, where was he even aiming? She burst into laughter and shook her head. "Take what exactly? Looks like we should schedule aiming into practice," She joked at Reid. They were both hoping to join their house Quidditch Team and aim was definitely something that they would have to work on, if they did.

Looking back around, she noticed a Gryffindor girl getting hit by a giant snowball and falling into the snow. Oof. That looked painful. Serena's Hufflepuff instincts kicked in, running towards her to make sure she was okay. The girl sat up shortly after, so she was probably fine. However, she noticed someone throwing a snowball at the Gryffindor. Laughing, she scooped up some snow whilst running and formed a snowball that she threw at the attacker. That poor Gryffindor looked like she was enough pain already! She just hoped this one didn't hit anyone in the face...
