Aaron and his twin brother Avery were born to a married Muggle couple: a Welsh man named Richard and a South Korean woman named Sun-Mi. They both take after their mother more with Asian features and dark hair.

The identical twins were raised completely oblivious to the magical world, and they attended a primary school in Cardiff, Wales. They grew up very happy. Their mother and father worked at a university together, with Sun-Mi teaching Korean and their father teaching history.

Aaron has always had a best friend in his brother Avery. They grew up thick as thieves, but they do have differing personalities. Aaron was always the more adventurous, hyperactive and outdoorsy one, meanwhile Avery was always the more responsible, indoorsy type. He lived to please their parents, and Aaron was always the one giving them a heart attack.

Above all else, Aaron hated schoolwork with a passion. There were times when he would hide his schoolwork and it would completely disappear from the house, or once his homework randomly caught fire after he glared at it for too long (his first accidental magic). For a while, Aaron was convinced he had superpowers like Superman, and he noticed crazy weird things happening, but none of his family believed him. He was told he had an overactive imagination when he regaled them with a story about how he had flown down from his treehouse after falling out.

Their parents had another baby, Gemma, when the twins were six. Shortly after Aaron and Avery's eleventh birthday, the family received a single letter from Hogwarts inviting only Aaron to attend. It was a shock to the family of Muggles.

Being at Hogwarts is Aaron's first time being on his own, ever. He always had his brother at the very least to keep him company when it came to summer camps or sleeping over at friends' or grandparents' houses. Going to Hogwarts is a huge adjustment for him, but he's adjusting surprisingly well.

First Year

Upon arriving at Hogwarts, Aaron was immediately sorted into Hufflepuff - the house of loyalty and friendship. It made sense that he quickly became friends with his bunkmate Sean Hearth and just a few days later he became acquainted with the strawberry-blonde, Lydia Cooper, who would become his best friend over the course of the year.

Aaron has always struggled with schoolwork, and Hogwarts was no exception. He found wand-heavy classes particularly difficult, and History was the only class he consistently excelled in (thanks to his memory for names, dates and faces). However, with the help of his friend Lydia, he got okay grades through the school year.

Flying class is where Aaron really shone. He had a natural aptitude for the air and a love for flying from his very first class, precedented by learning about Quidditch during his first trip to Diagon Alley. Aaron was determined to join the Hufflepuff Quidditch team, so he flew as often as he could. Professor Bercegeay encouraged his love of the sport and even let him borrow school brooms outside of class hours to practice.

The other love of Aaron's life during his first year was Yoohoo. As a resident of the sports bar themed dorm in Hufflepuff, he had access to all kinds of snacks in his dorm, including this chocolatey drink. It is a drink he had tried only a couple times before considering it was an American drink, but loved it each time. Having access to it year-round from his dorm meant he drank it pretty often this year, and would even offer it to his friends. During his first year at Hogwarts, he never wavered in his love for it, but it was over the summer that he hit a wall and realized he had been drinking it so often that his love had faded.

Later in the school year, it was announced that Hogwarts' annual Blossom Ball had been cancelled and it was a devastating blow to the Hogwarts population, including Aaron who knew his friends had really been looking forward to it. He participated in the creation of the Secret Blossom Ball, organizing an illicit ball at the Quidditch Pitch that year that ended in disaster. Guilt-ridden, Aaron distanced himself from his friends for a couple months before eventually dragging himself out of his stupor and regaining the pep in his step.

At the end of the year, Aaron gained a spot on the Hufflepuff Quidditch Team as the Hufflepuff Co-Captain and a second-string chaser. This was one of the contributors as to why he was able to pull himself from his guilt and resume being happy about life! His dream to be on the team had been realized!

Over the summer, Aaron attended the Hogwarts summer camp located at the London Campgrounds by the London Quidditch Stadium. He participated in a Quidditch match against the foreign magical school Durmstrang, and the Hufflepuff team (representing Hogwarts) won their match!

Second Year

Aaron entered second year flying high - literally! He got a new broom just before school started as a congratulations for winning his summer match against Durmstrang. It was a Moontrimmer - the broom rumoured to fly higher than any other! Being unable to fly while at home after camp meant his first week at Hogwarts was spent solely flying and practicing with his new broom. It was great! He also developed a bit of a fascination with space and astronomy - particularly with the idea of wizards flying into space and maybe even reaching the moon. This led to him becoming friends with Sylvain Wyllt and they researched ways to reach it.

October was the first Quidditch game of the season, and Hufflepuff continued their winning streak! But at the end of the match, Aaron suffered his first fall from his broom. He spent the next couple of months having nightmares and hesitating to fly, but he eventually just threw himself back into training and practiced falling more safely, eventually getting to a point where he was able to get back on his broom and train normally.

Over Christmas break, Aaron goes home and gets to see his family. He thought he wouldn't be getting any presents because his broom at the start of the year counted as his big present, but before heading back to Hogwarts, his family takes a trip to Diagon Alley where he gets an owl as an early birthday present! The stipulation was that he had to write home more often, but Aaron was quite excited by the idea of having an actual owl. He had never considered owning a pet before this, but it turned out to be an amazing thing. Back at Hogwarts, he and his new snowy owl Chae-rin bonded immensely over their mutual love of flying. Aaron was so happy to discover that she would fly alongside him during his practicing or just when he was flying for fun.

After his thirteenth birthday in January (he was finally a teenager!), Aaron made the unwise decision to test out just how high his broom could go. His plans to take off from the Astronomy tower were interrupted by his friend Sylvain and they were promptly caught by the Astronomy professor, landing Aaron in his first ever detention. It was not a pleasant experience, and reminded him of the consequences that happen when you don't think things through.

In February, the second Quidditch match of the season came around. Aaron felt more than prepared - he had been practicing extra hard after reading a Headliner article on the school's best chasers and wanting to be named as one. However, this game had a lot of firsts for him: his first foul, his first penalty lap, and even his first save of a fellow teammate. It also ends in Hufflepuff's first defeat since Aaron joined the team, ending their winning streak. Aaron walks away from this match feeling weird but not really recognizing the feeling.

He continued to practice in preparation for the final match of the season, but finds himself feeling off when he goes to team practices. When May comes around with the final Quidditch match, Aaron feels very unprepared despite his constant practice - and just, generally unhappy playing. During the match, Aaron ends up scoring quite a bit, but also ends up feeling really bad and getting knocked from his broom. That night when he wakes up in the Hospital Wing, he heartbreakingly realizes he no longer wants to play Quidditch and feels like he is letting a lot of people down with this decision.

He waits a few weeks to send his resignation owl to the team co-captain, but doesn't tell any of his friends and resigns himself to hanging out in the common room rather than socializing until the end of the school year.

During his trip to Diagon Alley to buy school supplies, Aaron breaks off from his family to explore a shop called Quality Quidditch Supplies. He meets another upcoming first year called Ariana Walker, who introduces him to the future love of his life: QUIDDITCH.

Aaron meets Persephone Barret and spends the train ride in her company.

☑ Sour Patch Kids - [Diggory Digs]
Aaron is introduced to his dorm: Diggory Diggs, a Quidditch sports bar themed dorm. He meets fellow first year Sean Hearth, and they decide to be bunk mates and possibly friends.

☑ Pens and Pencils - [Hufflepuff Common Room]
Aaron meets Lydia Cooper, a fellow muggle-born Hufflepuff who is up late one night studying in the common room. They bond over Lays crisps and missing their families.

☑ Tainted Memories - [Great Lake]
Aaron meets up with Ariana Walker - the girl who introduced him to Quidditch - and they catch up about their times at Hogwarts so far. He congratulates her on making it onto her house team.

October 2019

☑ The Wingless Crow - [Flying Class]
Aaron and his friend Sean are in flying class. Sean is a bit of an awful flier, and a gust of wind sends him out of control! Aaron rushes to his rescue and helps him land safely back on the ground.

☑ A Place to Practice - [Great Lake]
Aaron has been feeling restless since arriving at the castle, so he goes to practice his taekwondo near the lake. A girl approaches and starts asking a lot of questions. He then shows Dealla Prince a bit of his routine!

November 2019

☑ Cold Night, Warm Quills - [Owlery]
Aaron meets a Ravenclaw girl named Breana Oliveire when he went up to the owlery to send a letter. When he realized she was crying about missing her family, he shares that he's been feeling homesick too and they bond a bit.

December 2019

☑ On A Mission - [Courtyard]
Aaron decides to make an army of snowmen and invites anyone who wants to join! Lydia joins in, and they meet Willow Anderson and Euphaustus Boppity, who join in making the army!

☑ Wizards Batting - [Quidditch Training Pitch]
Aaron heard about a Wizards Batting match against Slytherin, but he ends up being very late to the game. Even so, he scores a whopping amount of points in the final round and is acknowledged by Hufflepuff quidditch player Annie Morgan.

Aaron is on his way to Potions class when he spies his friend Lydia chatting with another girl. He teases her that they're late to class (Lydia is very dedicated to her schoolwork and classes), then continues on his way.

Aaron sees Willow is hosting a friendship bracelet session in the common room, and he decides to join her. He meets with Serena Bowen and briefly interacts with their Head of House Caradoc Browne. The friendship bracelet he makes is for Lydia Cooper.

Aaron practices his flying with someone else for the first time - Willow, Hufflepuff's first-string keeper! Together, they practice their chaser and keeper skills, then try a bit of tandem broom riding that doesn't go exactly as planned.

☑ A Spectacle [Hufflepuff v Ravenclaw] - [Quidditch Pitch]
Aaron is witness to Hufflepuff's final victory of the season! He is joined by his best friends Lydia Cooper and Sean Hearth as they cheer for Willow Anderson's first ever match as first-string keeper!

Aaron is asked to join Lydia at the training pitch for her flying lesson with Gryffindor's Quidditch Captain - Rafael D'Spacito. Aaron and Rafael do not have the greatest first impression.

Aaron is invited to Willow Anderson and Alan Vanes' joint birthday party - a pajama party! He brings them gifts!

One night, the Hufflepuff Common Room suddenly explodes! Aaron joins the rest of the house in panicking. When his best friend Sean falls through the hole and gets trapped, he ends up punching the person who closed the hole in the floor! Then he retrieves a rope ladder from the dorm to help with the rescue!

Following the Hufflepuff Common Room disaster, Aaron realizes he overreacted in punching George, so he goes to find him at breakfast to apologize. They come to the agreement that the only way to settle the score is to allow George to punch Aaron.

Aaron and George meet in the courtyard for the punch that will settle the score.

☑ Breakfast Ideas - [Great Lake]
Aaron and Lydia have breakfast by the lake. They talk briefly about the Blossom Ball being cancelled, then come up with the idea to throw their own secret ball! Thus, the Secret Blossom Ball is born!

☑ Take off for Flight - [Quidditch Training Pitch]
Before Aaron's first unofficial Quidditch match, he checks out the pitch and runs into Alan Vanes and his cat Tiger, and they talk for a little bit. Aaron invites him to the match.

☑ Gryffindor V Hufflepuff [Unofficial Quidditch Match] - [Quidditch Training Pitch]
Aaron participates in an unofficial Quidditch match with some members of the actual Hufflepuff team. He scores his first ever goal! Even though Hufflepuff tastes defeat in this unofficial match, Aaron is flying high!

Over the spring break, Aaron is looking for some fun to be had. He stumbles across Jack Warren in the Great Hall and they decide to play some wizard's chess!

Aaron sweeps up one of the greenhouses.

Aaron decides to do some Taekwondo by the lake, but runs into Santario. He asks if she wants to be a photographer for the Secret Blossom Ball, and she accepts!

Aaron and his friends put together a secret Blossom Ball after the first one was cancelled. Everything goes great! Well, until.. some terrifying vampyr mosps decide to make an appearance.

Santario Martin got hurt at the Blossom Ball, and Aaron pays her a visit feeling extremely guilty since he was the one who invited her to photograph the ball in the first place.

Lydia arrives at breakfast with a hurt hand, and Aaron questions what happened. He learns she punched someone the other day - and it's occurring to him how weird their strained friendship has become after the ball.

Aaron goes to the library for what is the first time ever - and he is looking for help on a Charms essay. He runs into a boy named Ruka, who he learns is the person that Lydia punched just the other day!

Aaron is approached at the pitch by Lydia, who has just found out about Aaron punching Rafael over the spring break before the ball. Their argument becomes explosive!

Aaron makes origami figures for the errand. He meets up with Maria Dee who tries to cheer him up during the errand.

Aaron's twin brother. He is a very studious kid - pretty opposite of Aaron - and places a lot of pride in his grades. He misses Aaron when he is away and feels the distance more than Aaron does because he is not as charismatic and has very few friends.

Aaron's little sister. Unknown to everyone at the moment, she has magical abilities as well. She really enjoys arts and crafts. Has an incredible eye for detail for such a young girl.

Sun-Mi Jones - [Muggle] [Mother]
Aaron's mother who was born and raised in South Korea. She is a university professor now, teaching the Korean language and culture. Although incredibly skeptical of the magical world at first, she has accepted its existence, but frets over her son being gone at boarding school for most of the year.

Aaron's father who was born and raised in Wales. He is a university professor and teaches history - European history in particular.
