History/Background Story

Skylar Celine Evans is a half blood witch, she lives in London with her two brothers and her parents. She was born in France on the 17th of October, to two moderately wealthy parents. Shortly after Skys’s second birthday, her family moved to England, where Sky grew up with her two brothers Chase and Andre in the busy streets of London.

From a young age the girl was always very curious, reserved and sneaky. Her stubborn nature contrasts greatly with her mother's carefree, spontaneous attitude. However, with her father she isn't so lucky. Their personalities are almost identical and Sky finds it often difficult to get along with him. As he spends most of his time at work however, Sky finds herself peaceful at home, well almost, if it weren't for her two brothers.

Chase, her older brother and undoubtedly the person she argues with the most, is 4 years older than his sister. Smug, arrogant and ‘pig-headed’, as Sky likes to call him, he was sorted into slytherin, fitting for his ambitious personality.

Skys younger brother, Andre is more tender-hearted. Sky gets along much better with him, although his sensitive, fragile character sometimes annoys Sky bitterly, especially when he takes her snarky jokes the wrong way. She is certain he will be sorted into hufflepuff, like his mother.

Sky’s mother is a kind hearted, tender woman and is of french origin. She works in St Mungos as a healer. Sky loves her mother dearly, they certainly get on well.

Sky's father is a strict and resourceful man, he works in the ministry of magic in the department for magical international cooperation. The Slytherin princess doesn't get on too well with him, biting at each other's heels with snappy remarks are probably the only signs of their dear love for each other deep inside.

The bubblegum haired girl is typically referred to as Sky, [or Ky by her brothers] preferring it significantly more than her full name. She has always been relatively quiet, extremely stubborn and persistent.

One of the many first accidental signs of magic produced from the young girl was when she was about 7 years old and she accidentally dyed her hair a brilliant shade of bubblegum pink. Although this mishap was not permanent, she took a liking to the colour and this is how she has worn her hair ever since.

Sky has always loved quidditch and reading, she is often quite shrewd, sneaky and ambitious, much like the stereotypical Slytherin in her cunning, sharp-witted ways.

Sky’s first sign of accidental magic happened shortly after her 6th birthday. Sky and her brother Chase were fighting in the back yard over a bag of pepper imps. Being shorter than her brother however, she was most successful in her attempt to snatch them from his grasp. Giving up all effort, she resorted to glaring at him with seething resentment while he smugly opened the pack in front of her eyes. This momentary victory was not to last long however, as barely a few seconds after touching the wrapper, the bag caught fire and dropped maliciously to the ground. Chase had taken a step back, eyeing his sister with profound shock. The young slytherin stared back at him in surprise, her shocked grimace turning into a smirk as she bounced back towards the house ready to inform her mother with what she had accomplished.

The second time Sky displayed any signs of profound magical movement was when she was at her Grandma's house, for a new years celebration. She had been told to sit aside patiently and not to touch anything, lest she ‘destroy’ anything else. She had previously squabbled with her brother again, the result being a wasted cake that was sent flying as the two children wrestled persistently for the longer side of the tablecloth. She now sat, her arms folded over her pretty purple dress, glaring spitefully at her brother across the room, for what seemed like an eternity. Perhaps she should have refrained from this act as it almost never resulted in beneficial outcomes, however she did not, as it was only the sound of smashed china that brought Sky out of her trance, starting her as she swerved to evade the splinters of china that now littered the living room floor.

A clatter of footsteps, Sky and her brother shared equal looks of panic before the door banged open and they were met by the disapproving faces of their relatives, aside from Skys grandma, who looked beside herself with delight. She hobbled over to her grandchild and scooped her up in a warm hug. “That was my first sign of accidental magic too,” She winked, “Broke my mother's best old vase I did.” Sky gave into her grandma's knowing smile, returning the hug gratefully. The place was cleaned up by the wave of a wand, and the evening turned into one of the best Sky had ever spent with her family, as they celebrated the powerful magic that dwelled within the young witch.
