Personality Reducio from the moment icarus arrived into the world, the heavy responsibility of being the heir of the sable estate and fortune hung upon his shoulders. his parents molded him into what they deemed to be a perfect heir: obedient, intelligent, and ambitious. a bookish lad, you can often find him with his nose buried in the pages of worn and ancient books. the eldest amongst five siblings, icarus often finds himself playing the role of protector and nurturer. from an outsider’s view, the lad is stoic, calculating, and cold as his arctic blue stare. the warmth that lies beneath his icy exterior is hardly apparent at first, hidden away except to those who manage to venture deeper to find affection and loyalty. mild in temperament, nothing seems to rile icarus enough to break the neutral expression on his face. candor to a fault, icarus prefers a difficult truth to a comfortable lie. despite his initial aloof disposition, icarus is rather amiable and polite...to most, that is. coming from an old pureblooded family, the prejudice towards muggles unfortunately survived within the sable family. years of being taught to look down upon those not born in the wizarding world has ingrained an unconcious weariness in the boy towards muggles and those who freely associate with them.

History Reducio born on the 26th of april eleven years ago in the grandiose sable manor on the cliffs of southern england, icarus allister sable made his way into the world on a frigid spring morning. his father cadmus and mother calliope sable are both important ministry officials, respected and often feared among their peers. the sables were an old wizarding family known for their strict adherence to blood status and mastery in the art of charms. on his mother’s side, icarus comes from another ancient wizarding family, the wolfsbanes, who are known for their status as ruthless lycan hunters up until the practice was frowned upon. for his entire childhood up until his acceptance letter to hogwarts, icarus spent his time in the sable manor amongst his parents and four younger siblings. being the eldest child, responsibility was forced upon icarus as soon as he could understand his role as an heir. while his younger siblings were allowed to do as they pleased with their time, the eldest sable child’s time was taken up by studying and accompanying his parents to social gatherings. icarus took his destiny in stride, juggling his responsibilities as well as caring for his younger siblings in the frequent absences of their parents.
