Backstory ────────── Reducio Ariana Isabella Walker is a quarter Veela. Her mother Isabella Luciana (Garcia) Walker, is half Veela and was born the first child to her parents Francesco Fabio Garcia and Luciana Camille Garcia, in France 17th February. She lived there in France (originally where her mother is from) before moving to Italy (originally where her father is from) with her parents. She was raised and grew up in Italy to very strict wealthy parents. They wanted to keep her locked inside to protect her beauty and powers, rarely letting Isabella go outside. This angered the young girl, who was keen to go and socialise and play with other kids. Instead she was taught at home, not allowed to attend school. At the age of 4 her younger sister Eleanore was born, and another half Veela was welcomed to the family. Eleanore was always the favourite in Isabella’s opinion. Her mother always used Eleanore as an example for everything, praising her and showing her off to anyone who would listen. Eleanore always did what she was told, and seemed perfectly fine with avoiding social interaction, something with which Isabella disagreed with on many levels. Despite this however, the two girls were better friends than anyone would ever have known. Eleanore understood Isabella in a way that Isabella could not put into words, and while Isabella was good at getting Eleanore to open up (and get in trouble for that matter) the other sibling returned the favour by trying (and mostly failing) to keep her older sister in check. Isabella’s father didn’t take down Isabella’s mothers ideas and opinions very well, though he was good at hiding this from his wife. He secretly agreed with Isabella's desire to have more freedom and his first daughter was his favourite child, adventurous, curious and optimistic, there was never a boring time when his eldest daughter was with him. He enjoyed her company very much and hoped that she would one day be free to settle her own decisions without the control of her mother. At the age of 11 Isabella finally convinced her parents (well her father mostly) to allow her to attend wizarding school in America. Her mother strongly disapproved of this, wanting both of her daughters to attend Beauxbatons academy in France (the same place she attended her education) Nevertheless Isabella got her wish and was off to America in no time, to start a new life ahead of her. She was one of the few part Veela students in the school, but not the only one. After being locked away with minimal human interaction for years, this was definitely new to the young witch. She had no trouble in making friends however and in no time was very popular among the students, her carefree optimistic attitude inspiring and fun. As a young girl she much reassembled Arianas personality. Her features are interesting, being mixed Italian and french, her hair is light brown/dark blonde, her eyes a sparkling sapphire blue. She is unusually fair-skinned for someone who had grown up in Italy, due to her Veela heritage. Nevertheless, you can see Veela more prominently than ever in her features, when the sunlight shines on her, illuminating her hair so that a silvery glimmer is visible within the light blonde/brown. She was admired for her beauty throughout her school years and beyond, although she stated that she doesn’t like being a Veela much. Isabella believes that what’s in the heart outshine beauty and looks by far, and so she set out during her years of education to prove this statement right, that she was worth more than looks and charm, much to her mother's disappointment, as her reckless behaviour often got her in trouble. During her third year Isabella got news that her father had tragically passed away. Devastated by this news, Isabella became even more determined to fulfill her wishes in memory of her father, although others wanted otherwise. After her father's death, her mother Luciana, was determined that Isabella move to finish her education in France. Isabella was shocked at her proposal, defiantly answering that she would stay at ilvermorny until she graduated. After many fights, howlers and arguments that shook the bedroom floors, Isabella won and she went back to America, more determined than ever before to prove her mother wrong. During her later years at school she met her future husband, Arianas future father, Julian Miguel Fernandez-Walker. After graduating there were to be married, to both of their delight. However Luciana did not want this for her daughter instead she had wanted her daughter to marry a wealthy french man and a family friend. When Isabella refused this, her mother turned against her, cutting off all connection and turning away from her own daughter, refusing to see eye to eye with her rebellious attitude. Isabella, however distraught at the severed connection with her family, happily got married and became one with her husband's side, who welcomed her gracefully into their midst.They lived in Italy for a while before moving to Argentina after Ariana turned 2 years old. Ariana was 7 when they moved to America where 5 of Arianas brothers attended school (Ilvermorny) there. However Ariana and her youngest brother James attended Hogwarts after they moved to England when she was 10. Till this day Isabella prefers to keep her family history with her Veela mother, a secret, to avoid unwanted questions, although her close family and friends know, her children don’t, which is why Ariana is oblivious to being half Veela.This power enhances her pretty features making her look young and beautiful and perfect in some sense, however many people put this beauty down so genetics, unsure of Ariana's mother race as a half Veela. Ariana unknowingly carries some powers and charm of a Veela, inherited from her mother, though she does not know this and so her charm is cast unknowingly, randomly, whenever she feels a burst of emotion. Unaware of this, she is used to ignoring any keen sudden attention, from others who react to this, finding it startling and confusing. Isabella does not know when she will tell her children about her story, but she hopes that one day, the time will come. Thread Info ────────── Reducio Physically part-Veelas are incredibly beautiful and their hair is most often blonde naturally. Beyond that there is no physical markers for a Veela. If the user enticed is the only person in the thread with the Veela, this is mechanically represented by the attack automatically failing. If there is more than one person in a thread in conflict with the Veela, the attack intended for the Veela would target another opponent of the Veela (chosen randomly if there are multiple, cannot be used to force a user to target themselves) rather than the Veela. Veela Description ────────── Reducio Where full-Veelas have their own type of magic, so would not be admitted to Hogwarts, part Veelas may have some wizard blood which grants the Part-Veela magical potential making them viable candidates for admission to Hogwarts. While most Veela and half-Veela are women, there are some male half (or lesser) Veela that also possess the charm and beauty of their parent or grandparent as well as the magical potential of their wizarding heritage. Because they are half-breeds, half-Veela may experience the same prejudices that befall other half-breeds, though they are more difficult to detect than other half-breeds, such as Half-giants, because apart from their great physical beauty, they are otherwise identical to humans. Appearance:

Face: Tanned complexion, smooth and soft, faded/light freckles across bridge of nose and cheekbones.
Eyes: Bright Green iris' with large pupils, flecks of golden brown if you look closely.
Nose: Small, Light freckles dotted here and there across the bridge.
Mouth: Normal size, rosy pink lips, smiles a lot. Lip is bit slightly when concentrating or when nervous. Teeth are straight and pearly white.
Hair: Silky smooth, thick, dark-honey brown in color. Is usually worn in a high messy ponytail that falls down to her shoulders. Other times she wears her hair in two braids, with strands of hair blossoming from the sides and framing her face. When her hair is let down it tumbles in waves to the middle of her back.
Frame: Small in height but not too small, average weight but somewhat athletic

Posture/Mood:

Casual Standing: Arms loosely by the sides or in pockets of her hoodie, they would most likely be holding the strap of her bag [if she is carrying one] or fiddling with an old snitch or piece of paper.
Casual Sitting: Sometimes with her legs crossed. Other times swinging legs around, doesn't sit still for long periods of time. Usually in class would rest her chin on the palm of her hand or sit back in her seat elbows out and feet crossed.
Happy: Genuinely happy smile most of the time, smiles with teeth, sometimes throws head back slightly if laughing, but most of the time, will look at the person while smiling.
Laugh: High, pretty, alluring. [due to Veela charm]
Voice: Ariana has a rather high voice and it sounds bubbly and sweet, yet still carries the bouncy tones of everlasting energy. If you listen carefully you can still hear traces of a spanish accent, since she has spoken this language for most of her life. Some might say that her voice is distinctively alluring, infectious with its euphonious tones, mellifluous even.
When sad: Eyes dull, she would avert her gaze to the ground and shuffle her feet, hates people to see her weaknesses. When crying, her eyes would go puffy and red, her cry isnt that loud at all, it is one that is quite heartbreaking to hear, mostly silent aside from sniffles and small sobs of pain.
When stressed: Moves around ALOT, makes jokes to calm people around her, either rambles or goes unusually silent periods of time.
When annoyed: Stay unusually still, look the person/thing dead in the eye, a slight scowl or glare of annoyance would be apparent on her features and her green eyes might twinkle with a dangerous glare.
When tired: You would rarely see her as her tired self, she is quite energetic most of the time and can go for long periods of time without sleep. However when she is tired she often is quite distant and uncharacteristically quiet. She might zone out and have a lack of attentive skills.
When angry: Eyes narrowed, her hands might be curled into fists or crossed across her chest. Slightly intimidating.

Character Traits:

Respect: She had respect for her peers and teachers. Now and then she might take the joke too far, but does apologise when she realises her mistakes.
Charisma: Has extraordinary skills in leadership and communication, very motivational and supportive, also very confident. Possesses a charm to allure others to listen most of the time; is very good at influencing and exciting people.
Caring: Very careless a lot of the time, doesn't really mind what people think and doesn't get hurt easily. She likes banter and teasing, it makes her even more interested in the person.
Mischievous: A born troublemaker, she is always looking for opportunities for a fun experience, whether it's a mystery to solve or a prank to play. She is there being the brains and the fun of the plan.
Doubting: Doesn't take long to trust others, in fact she is quite open and has a lot of friends who she trusts. However she has a certain few who she will hold close above everyone else. Those she would do anything for.
Sassy: She can be quite sassy at times, along with being cocky and self-confident. She often shoots light insults as a joke and can reply to an offensive insult within a flash because of her witty ways around speech.

Wardrobe:

School Robes: Messy and all over the place most of the time, especially if she has just changed out of her quidditch robes because she is quite impatient.
School uniform: Normal length skirt, most of the time would wear socks [except for winter] her blouse would be untucked and her sweater off most of the time. Her tie would hand loosely, the flashes of red gryffindor colours complementing the red hair tie she normally uses to fasten her dark locks. She usually red tennis shoes/sneakers they would be grass-stained and the laces would come undone a lot of the time due to her never ending movement and careless nature in tying them.
Casual Wear: Often a hoodie and [skirt or jeans] with her regular sneakers. Other times she would wear a blouse with a skirt and her casual wear is commonly neater than her school robes and uniform.
Fancy: She has a few fancy dresses [her mother's choice of course] but her collection would consist of a simple but pretty pale pink skater dress and a ballgown that now would hold special memories-stuffed at the bottom of her trunk along with her other prized possessions.
Other: Various Jeans, skirts and hoodies. She also has a pair of white trainers and fancy shoes, but she chooses not to wear these, claiming that her pair of red grass stained tennis shoes are more ‘comfortable’.
