PERSONALITY
Lily has many insecurities. She often spends hours after a conversation going over every line and repeating things she said to herself, wondering if she said the right thing. She’s very insecure about how she acts, however she’s recently trying to be herself and no one else. She often speaks to professors and teachers outside of classes, whether it be for homework purposes, or for general discussions. She enjoys classes that you can participate in, allowing herself to have her hand up every question with an answer or another question. She often finishes tasks in the classroom early, allowing her to sit and read if the teacher allows it. Lily is a kind girl who is extremely loyal to her friends. She is forgiving, which can cause her to forgive someone for hurting her over and over, without having the mindset of getting away. Shes very nervous around big crowds. She tries to accept anyone, no matter their heritage. She enjoys a good book and can often be found with copies of her favourite books in hand, either from her own personal collection or the library. She absolutely loves magical creatures and often speaks to other students about them. She wants to meet as many magical creatures as possible. She originally believed that she would be a Hufflepuff or a Ravenclaw, however the sorting hat saw leadership in her and decided to place her in Slytherin.

APPEARANCE
Lily is a brown haired, hazel eyed 11 year old who often wears and looks however she wants to. Before she came to hogwarts, she would often wear different muggle clothing her mother and her picked out from the muggle shops, including t-shirts with random things. Most of her shirts have things to do with super heroes. While she’s at hogwarts, she will often be found with her robes in disarray and her hair messed up from messing around. She wears a white turtle necklace around her neck on a black cord. Her hair is curly and short, short enough that she can getaway with having it down, as it just sits there like a boys haircut. She has her ears pierced, wearing little blue and gold studs.

THOMSON FAMILY HISTORY
The Thomson’s are a very old pureblood family line. The family had a strong connection to snakes, even when they first started. Their first recorded Parselmouth encounter within the family was several hundred years ago. It was kept a secret from most of the family, until Parselmouths started to show within their bloodlines. Soon, Parselmouths were becoming common in one line of the family, so it was decided that that line would be the heirs of the family, and the first born son who could speak Parseltongue would be the heir.

When they first were recognised as an older pure blood line, they were placed often in Hufflepuff house, as they valued friendship and kindness. However, due to peer pressure from the other pure blooded families, they started to become Slytherins, especially after they married into other pure blooded families. Over time, the family barely knew of their kinder path, only that they had to work hard for their status. This lead to many of their children who married into muggle families, or muggle born families to be disowned. Their family became more harsh than what they originally was. However, as they started to see the horror of their ways, they started to open back up to muggles, allowing their children to grow and love muggles and muggleborns.

However, some of the family believed that this was a mistake, and caused a rift between the family. The pure-blood family became conflicted, and some of the Parselmouths joined dark wizards and ended up in Azkaban.

BJÖRNDOTTI FAMILY HISTORY
The Björndottis are a muggle family who have had some muggle wizards and witches, however, they are mainly a non magical family. One line of the family married a Veela and had a Half-Veela child, however, they were disowned because they tried to kill another family member. The family likes magical people, however, there are still people in the family who believe that the family should stay non magical.
They are a Norwegian family, and have lived in Norway for most of their existence,

PARENT HISTORY
Jacob Thomson was born an English wizard to a long line of pure blooded families. He was the sole heir of his family, meaning that he would inherit the wealth once he hit the legal age of 17. When he was 6, they moved to Norway, because his father, a auror for the Ministry Of Magic, had to work in Norway for some reason. He didn’t want to leave the life he had in England, however, his father wanted him to. Moving to Norway meant that he couldn’t go to Hogwarts. It also meant he had to learn a new language, as where he had moved to there was little English speakers. Thanks to the language, most of what people were saying was easy for him to translate, however some words were difficult. Until he was Hogwarts age, he was homeschooled. However, he ended up going to a school in Norway that taught magic, graduating at 17 and becoming an Auror, like his father before him.

Áshildr Björndotti was born a Norwegian muggle, growing up loving animals on their family farm. She worked with the animals and bred Jack Russel terrier puppies, one of which she chose to keep for herself. She went to a school in Norway and spoke very little English, however when she met Jacob, she started learning English to communicate with him. She graduated high school at 18, going to university with a course of Marine Biology. She graduated with Distinction, becoming a marine biologist in Norway.

Jacob and Áshildr met as children, as they lived in the same small town and often played together. Jacob accidentally revealed his magic to Áshildr when they were seven. They still were friends and Áshildr told him that her onkel(uncle) had shown her magic tricks and he was like him. Turned out that Áshildr’s onkel was an Auror and worked with Jacob’s father. Áshildr’s onkel was a muggle born wizard.

The two met up after going to school and started dating at 18. At 19, Jacob proposed to her and she said yes. At 20, they got married and moved onto a small property in the same town. After Áshildr finished her degree, they moved closer to the sea so she could work. Áshildr found out she was pregnant just after this.

FAMILY HISTORY
Áshildr gave birth to a lovely baby boy on the 21st of October, 2004. Jacob wanted his son to take her last name, so she agreed and they named the boy Arvid Asmund Björndotti, with his middle name being Áshildr’s muggle born uncles name. Arvid knew a small bit of Parseltongue, however, it wasn’t as much as his father’s family wanted, but he still became the heir. Arvid was a smart and playful child, and was sorted into Ravenclaw when he went to Hogwarts. He hasn’t got into any trouble at Hogwarts

Lily, his younger sister was born four years after him. Lily was a little rascal of a child. She didn’t crawl, she didn’t walk, she ran. At 8 months, she was a handful and hyperactive child. When she was four, she wandered into her father’s she’d and started speaking Parseltongue to his snakes, to the horror of her mother who found her with a Cobra around her arm. She grew up in a multilingual house, speaking both Norwegian and English. She didn’t have many friends in Norway, so she spent most of the time at her mother’s work, feeding the animals and cleaning pens under supervision. Her parents decided to move when she was 7, moving to England. They bought a farm and some animals.

Lily learnt horseback riding and soon started exploring the farm on Shepard, her gelding horse her parents had bought her. She bonded with many of the animals at the farm, including the reclusive feral barn cats that the last owners had left. Lily was close with many of the cats and when it was cold would smuggle them into her room, not that her parents cared. In fact, they supported her empathy and helped her every year with bringing the cats inside so they wouldn’t freeze to death. Lilys parents had a strict no magic in the house rule, so everything including cleaning was done by hand. Lily got her letter at the age of 11, and was whisked off to Hogwarts, ready to start her year. She was sorted into Slytherin house at hogwarts.

ÁSHILDR BJÖRNDOTTI, ‘MOR’
Lily’s mother is a Norwegian muggle who has known magic for years, as there have been muggle-born wizards in her family. Lily’s relationship with her mother is very strong. Lily and her mother share a lot of similarities, as they both are kind women who enjoy animals. Lily’s Mor taught Lily about muggle items and they often spent the time together doing muggle things, like games or cleaning. Lily loves her mother, and her mother loves her. Lily’s relationship with her mother is stronger than with her father, because they share so much in common.

JACOB THOMSON, ‘FAR’
Lily’s relationship with her Far has become rather strained in recent times, since she got her Hogwarts Letter. Lily and her Far share the Parseltongue talent, meaning they can talk to snakes. Her Far works with the snakes he owns, including a Cobra which Lily is close to, however, Lily has stopped speaking Parseltongue to, meaning he doesn’t understand why he’s stopped talking to him. Lily resents her Far because he kept the fact Parseltongue is considered a dark art. Lily has recently been avoiding her talent, meaning she doesn’t speak to her Far about much anymore. Lily’s Far is a strong and brave man, who works as an Auror.

ARVID ASMUND BJÖRNDOTTI, ‘STOREBROR’
Lily loves her big brother. The affection, however, is not returned. Her older brother is a man who enjoys pranks and went bald at a young age, without explanation. He often gets teased by the other students, however, he doesn’t care. Arvid is also a Parseltongue, however, his skill is much less strong than Lily’s, only being able to speak to Vipers, no other snakes that he’s found. He is jealous of Lily’s skill, as he is the heir to the family, however, Lily doesn’t care and just wants to help her brother learn. Arvid is a Ravenclaw 5th year, and stays well away from his sister. His favourite class is Defense Against the Dark Arts.

GRANDPARENTS
KEVIN THOMSON, ‘FARFAR’
Lily’s relationship with her grandfather is like a mentor/apprentice. Kevin talks to her mainly in Parseltongue when she visits, meaning no one but her father can understand. She enjoys hanging out with him, and they often go fishing together, as Kevin owns a muggle motor boat. Kevin and her enjoy their time together and Kevin often makes jokes and loves joking around with everyone. Kevin lives with his wife, Gale, in Norway, on a nice property enjoying their retirement.
GALE THOMSON, ‘FARMOR
Lily isn’t as close with Gale as she is with Kevin, however, they do enjoy each other’s company. They used to sit together under the tree near Gale’s house while Kevin and Jacob were working on muggle things together. She enjoys her company, and do miss her.
GABRIEL ‘GABBY’ BJÖRNDOTTI, ‘MORMOR’
Lily wasn’t as close with Gabby as she is with Gale. In fact, they barely talk. Lily barely saw her grandmother before she died, however, when she did she met most of the other side of her family. She doesn’t miss her, since she barely knew her, but the hole she left in her heart is still there.
BRION BJÖRNDOTTI, ‘MORFAR’
Lily and Brion are not close. Brion doesn’t like the idea of his daughter marrying a wizard, and he knew that his grandchildren would be wizards. She doesn’t miss him. He lives in Norway on a small property.

UNCLES, ‘ONKEL’
ASMUND BJÖRNDOTTI, ‘ONKEL ASMUND’
Asmund and Lily are good friends. He’s a messer, he enjoys pranks and works well with Kevin at family gatherings. He enjoys Lily’s family’s company. Asmund is a muggle-born Wizard, who was sorted into the brave house of the school he went to. He is very brave, and wise, however he uses his ideas to become a good uncle. He’s close to Lily and Arvid, and was given the honour of having his name be Arvid’s middle name. Asmund moved back to London with Lily’s family, as he had no where else to go and wanted to be there for his niece and nephew.
GRIFFITH THOMSON, ‘ONKEL GRIFFITH’
Lily and Griffith are close. Griffith is the married spouse of Lily’s aunt, Marylane. He’s a nice person and works with Lily’s father as an Auror. He and Mari moved back to London before Lily’s family and he lives in a small property at the edge of London. He doesn’t like his wife’s view on muggles, however, he respects it.
GREGORY THOMSON, ‘ONKEL GREG’
Lily has only met Greg a couple of times. Her impression of him isn’t good.

AUNTS, ‘TANTE’
MARYLANE (MAR-EE-LANE) THOMSON, ‘TANTE MARI’
Mari is a nice aunt, however, she doesn’t like Lily. She believes in blood purity, which means she doesn’t like her brother’s ideas of marrying a muggle. She doesn’t like that part of her family. She has just announced she is pregnant with her first child.
ANJA THOMSON, ‘TANTE ANJA’
Anja and Lily are friends, but they don’t talk. Anja is jealous of her brother’s status of being the heir of the family, so she constantly ignores them. She and her husband, Greg, stay away from Lily’s family.
