Pre-Hogwarts

Araminta "Mint" Perkins was born on a cold November morning to Edvin and Corliss Perkins. A small baby with black hair and a big smile. She was a quiet child that loved a good hug and adored it when anybody talked to her.

Five years after Mint came Ozwin and Oakley, twin brothers who came into the world kicking and screaming, twin charmers with huge smiles and unending chatter. Finally, three years after that, little Grayson is brought into the world, a tiny baby with a loud laugh.

Mints parents are good and kind people, but they have never been rich. Her parents worked long hard hours, so she ended up taking care of the house and watching her brothers. Mint didn't mind. She loves her brothers, even with all their antics.

Mint learned about her magic on a relatively normal day. Mum and Pa were out working and she was preparing pancakes for breakfast. When she turned she saw that Gray had managed to climb onto the counter without her noticing.

She watched her tiny brother slip and start falling of the counter. Mint was to far away to catch so in a fit of panic her magic sprung out and levitated him safely to the ground.

Mint was fascinated by her new powers. She had no clue what her new powers meant but she felt like it was gonna be the start of something amazing.

Her parents were worried bit supportive pf their daughter an immediately tried looking for someone to help her control her power.

They managed to find a to find a teacher in the form of their neighbor, Ms. Fernsby the eccentric art teacher. She taught Mint and her parents about the wizarding world.

Mint was absolutely awestruck. Mint regularly came over to Ms. Fernsby's flat, begging for a wand and taking care of all her Appaloosa Puffskeins.

Mint started reading all the books in Ms. Fernsby's flat. She read about the different wizarding schools and all the magical creatures. Her favorite creature by far is Wampus and her dream is to become a Magizoologist!

Mint was reading Fantastic Beasts and Where to find them when her parents and Ms. Fernsby approached her with a letter in hand.

Mint was going to Hogwarts!
