Gabriela has olive skin, that pales in comparison to the dark brown hair that runs down her back to the half point, although she normally ties it up so that it doesn’t get in her way during the day. She has softly arched, eyebrows that are distinctly quite thick, and that lay atop almond shaped, black eyes. Her nose is stubby and button-like, her lips are thin, and slightly darker than her skin, and her face is oval shaped, but slightly pointed at the bottom. Gabby is short for her age, something she absolutely despises, but she also is broader than most around the shoulders, which make up for her height. - | Gabriela doesn’t become close with a lot of people, but with the select few she does become close to, she’ll protect them with her life. This is probably why Gabriela takes betrayal so seriously and wouldn’t be afraid to break the rules when she takes her revenge. She speaks quickly, and often stumbles on her words. Gabby’s competitive too, so even if she isn’t the fittest in the room, she has a good chance of winning either way. She’s quiet when you first meet her, blunt, with a short temper, and a rebellious, tomboy-ish attitude, but when you get closer, she’s a quick-thinking girl, who acts before she asks, and has a big heart that’s easy to break. --Sebastian Marquez, more commonly called Seb, was born in the poorer parts of town on the outskirts of Bogota, Columbia, where he lived with his extended family. His childhood was rough, filled with violence and danger, which he grew accustomed to as he got older. Despite this, Sebastian was a smart child, and managed to earn a good education. By the time he was 22, Sebastian was eager to leave his home country in search of more opportunities and left as soon as he had the money.
--Mariana was born in Chicago, in the U.S., to a Colombian mother and white father. She grew up in the poorer parts of Chicago, and while it was crime-ridden as well, her childhood was far more safer than Sebastian's. Mariana lived with two brothers, as well as her parents, who she was extremely close with. But, as a teenager, she started to become more difficult, constantly clashing with her parents. As soon as she was old enough, Mariana left the States to travel the world with friends. When she reached England, Mariana met Sebastian, in a small pub on the west of Southampton. After a couple of dates, Mariana decided to stay there with her new boyfriend, and got an easy but small job in a nearby restaurant.
--When Mariana was 25, and Sebastian 27, they had Gabriela, a small but persistent baby who cried to no end. By that time, they had already had two elder children, Sofia, who was a year older, and Luis, three years older. The family of five were joined two years later by Samual, or Sammy, and a year after that by Sebastian Jr, who is known as Junior. They didn’t live a wealthy life and slept in an old weatherboard house that always seemed too small, but were happy enough, and content.
--Gabriela grew to be a strong-willed, fun-loving girl with boundless energy and a love for being around people. When she started school, Gabriela quickly held a disliking for art, music and English, but was good at maths and science. She made friends fast and would spend the majority of her evening hanging out with them, walking along the streets of Southampton, exploring a shopping centre, or playing games in a nearby park. This all changed when Gabriela was 8 years old.
--The accident took place at Gabriela’s dad’s workplace, a mechanic shop, that was filled with pieces of cars lying around, and had the harsh, strong smell of petrol. Gabriela was never told how the situation played out, only that the offender had been a visiting customer, and her father had died from internal bleeding. Straight away, people began to question Sebastian’s innocence, doubting that he had done nothing to aggrandize the confrontation. They whispered that he could’ve walked away before it got dangerous, and that they “always thought he was hiding something”.
--Gabriela started to quieten after her father’s death, the event had hit her with harsh reality that nothing lasts, and her childhood innocence disappeared the moment the doctor broke her the news. She knew that her father was not the person these people talked about, but after she heard the rumours once, twice, thrice, Gabriela started to doubt her memories, and the line between gossip and truth began to blur. She drew away from friends, and stopped playing their games, believing them childish and a waste of time. Instead, Gabriela started to work small jobs for the neighbourhood, delivering packages and running errands, doing nothing without incentive. She liked to be filled with that feeling of purpose, as if she had a reason, and was wanted.
--But the greatest change came from her family, and the members that remained. Her mother instantly sunk into a pit of despair and hopelessness, barely speaking a word, and spending her days on the couch with a bottle in both hands, and the television on. Not in a fit state to get a job, the only income of cash was support money from the government. Savings in the bank soon ran out, and the family had to move out of their house into a rented apartment room. All responsibility fell onto the shoulders of 10-year-old Luis, who now had to buy the takeaway for dinner, and make sure all the household chores were done. Gabriela hated her mother for what she had done to the family, and instantly shut off from her, vowing never to talk to the woman again.
--When Gabriela was 10 years old, she was already aware of the existence of witches and wizards, because of her elder siblings, but was nevertheless surprised when one night, sitting at dinner, the fish and chips sitting on the table had suddenly turned into pizza, considering the fact that she had been wishing for pizza a minute ago. Surprised and delighted, Gabriela was eager to start at Hogwarts as soon as possible, keen to get away from the gloominess of home, and keen for a fresh start.

Sammy, as he is called, is 9 years old, quiet, but extremely intelligent, with eyes that take everything in. But, because of the trama of his father’s death, Sammy is prone to angry fits of rage.
