⇒ Unicorn hair could be used in wand-making, as wand cores. Wands with these cores produced the most consistent magic, were least subject to fluctuations and blockages, were most difficult to turn to the Dark Arts, and were the most faithful of wands. However, they do not make the most powerful of wands (unless the wand wood compensates) and are prone to melancholy if mishandled. The Wandmaker Garrick Ollivander made wands with unicorn hairs.

Background Story:
Being born on the 4th of July (and yes, the Americans' holiday) at the cottage of their family home, being one of the cottages owned by one of his uncles though it was unclear, by the confusion of who properly owns the cottage and that both of his uncles were still alive; even though, they were, apprantly, ancient by muggle terms but still around Great Britian reigon just...
Somewhere. Or maybe his family was wrong about their rumors and they could be in China, or in Africa. Heck even the states.
But getting back to how Keenan II came into exsistance, this is where Keenan would be born and stay for a little bit before his mother and father would try to find Muggle housing with a couple of reasons that was explained later when Keenan was getting around Hogwarts school age. Wanting to slowly introduce magic ruling, what to expect once he goes to school and what he should expect into going in a new life style. His father, Keenan Sr, would often relate it to learning into a different language or a different customs and that sort of makes sense.
Being in the middle of nowhere of the woods in the Republic of Ireland with the 'Family' cottage and until Keenan turned 2 moved around a little before getting a house in Black Rock.
Muggle life, when he was around toddler age, was very nice! Life, in it's moment, was a learning experince and flourished the boy's interest of learning about almost everything of life. Also, blocks were pretty fun as well.
Though, he had many moments of his parents just floating things into their hands. Tapping on teapots to make water turn suddenly boiling. Wild imgination but it all seem all to real for even for his childhood self. Keenan was always told, "Keep yer lips closed, knucklehead." His parents would smiled, cheekily. Keenan was always confused when they done this until the recent year of going into Hogwarts.
With talking to his father about what house he might. Without skipping a beat, his popsand his mom would say Hufflepuff. It would be the same trend unless a couple of individuals from his family. His grandmother was a Gryffindor and his two other uncles were Slytherin. Funny enough, they've both disappeared long before Keenan's, the first and second, life.
Before going to Hogwarts, he had a feeling of wanting to be one. Being apart of the rebellion side of his family that were mysterious enough to just leave out of the blue without telling the rest of the family.
Like an anti-hero not wanting to the expose the greater evil of life and protecting people, even if it hurts a little bit. That would be a true hero in his eyes and he saw his uncles like that, even though he didn't know about them.
