Yew Wood has the reputation of being associated with the forces of life and death, and their owners are often notorious or otherwise heroic, but never mundane. In some cases, wands made of this wood can grow a yew tree from their owner's grave Snallygaster Heartstring has the power of the dragon heartstring, but the flexibility of a phoenix feather due to the snallygaster's half dragon-half bird nature. Their owners are courageous and curious, and it is said that these owners can rarely be surprised from behind. In the case of a powerful bond and the death of their owner, these wands have been known to commit "suicide", firing off spells until the core burns out.

Patronus Reducio Unknown until 6th year Occamy; Those with the Occamy patronus tend to be thoughtful and can often be found reflecting on previous events and on profound ideas, and often express a creative side too, excelling in creative subjects. They are highly protective of their friends, just as the Occamy is fiercely protective of its eggs. Piérre Luigi Marchonné Marvelous Spatuletail Hummingbird o - O - o - O - o (Loddigesia miribilis) Marking of Human Identity: Reducio Unlike the typical blue crest and violet spatules of a mundane Marvellous Spatuletail, the spatules and crest color of Mr. Marchonné's animagus form instead carry a structural coloration that varies all over the spectrum; resulting in his color being of all chromatic hues dependent on the way the light hits his feathers (in such a way that while he possesses the Marvellous Spatuletail body, he also expresses the Fiery Throated Hummingbird's various iridescent colorations). The head crest feathers of Mr. Marchonné's animagus form are slightly longer than an average Marvellous Spatuletail's and they seem to possess a slight curl like his human hair. This results in the formation of what can only be described as an ahoge of feathers that curls forwards over its head as if aiming towards the bill.

Description of the Marvellous Spatuletail Hummingbird:

Native only to the remote Utcubamba Valley in northern Peru in which it is a year-round native, these multicolored hummingbirds were first discovered by bird collector Andrew Matthew Loddiges in 1835. The marvellous spatuletail hummingbird is one of the rarest species of hummingbird in the world and is currently an endangered species due to both illegal woodcutting resulting in deforestation and being hunted for the male spatuletail's tail feathers (spatules) and their hearts (which are believed by natives to have aphrodisiac properties).

Marvelous Spatuletails are medium sized hummingbirds, averaging between the lengths of 10-15 cm (if including the male's spatules) and weighing 5 grams. Its body is described as being 'about the size of a fluffy ping-pong ball'. Its plumage is usually white and green on its underbelly, and bronzy on top. Males possess blue crest feathers, a turquoise throat patch, and a black line cutting down a white chest and abdomen, whose side feathers are green. Its call is of a high melodic frequency described as "a repeated high-pitched buzzy metallic note...'tzzz...tzzz...' during its aerial display". Its calls include "an upslurred high-pitched sweet note 'tswee'" and "a more strident 'tsik'".

The most distinguishing feature of the male marvellous spatuletails are of course his spatules; two outermost tail feathers which are long, raquet-shaped, and possess indigo or violet-blue discs (spatules) capable of being flicked about independently. These feathers are not fully developed in juveniles, but they can grow up to three of four times the length of the bird's own body. They are used in mating rituals in which the male will flick his spatules independently in front of the female during a dance in which he takes a twig and hops forwards and backwards at high speeds (up to 14 times in 7 seconds), all while making snapping sounds with his beak.

Like many hummingbirds, Marvellous Spatuletails feed on the nectar of flowering shrubs. Unlike other species of hummingbird, they go so far as to memorize a regular and well-established personal route of known plants and flowers, a phenomenon among the birds referred to as 'trap-lining'. Highly territorial, males establish feeding territories where they chase away other male spatuletails and bumblebees who encroach on their defined feeding grounds. They can be easily subdued by larger and more aggressive hummingbirds, however.

Curious Origins

June 6th, 2008, a Muggle couple were returning from a late-night celebration in a pub in Florence, Italy. Their names were Eleanor and Carlos Bianchi, a middle class couple who had been married for nearly five years, with no hope of having children of their own. Imagine, then, the surprise both of them shared when they found not one bundle on their front stoop, but two; a pair of boys held in each others' arms. They appeared the same age, the same appearance, twins no doubt of an unknown origin, and unknown past, and an unknown parentage.

Though surprised and greatly concerned with this evident abandonment, the Bianchis were elated to have children to call their own, and with all measures needed to take in abandoned children and proper adoption measures, the couple were able to keep the boys which they assumed to be twins, raising them as Muggles, which they assumed the boys to be. They named the boy with green eyes and a puckish demeanor Piérre, and the boy with the beautiful ice blue eyes and the handsome features, Romeo, after Shakespeare's heartbreaker.

From the very beginning, the boys were inseparable, and the moment they could crawl, they spent every moment in the other's presence. Though it was quickly discovered that they weren't exactly identical twins, they looked very near to it, and the Bianchis almost always considered the boys to be the same person, for if you called one, you would inevitably receive the other alongside the first. As time passed, the boys began to develop their own personalities, and Piérre grew to be the joker and practical mischief-maker, hoarder, and for all other intensive purposes, the gentle yet eccentric soul; Romeo was quiet, a silent intellectual, and always the studious half of the yin and yang pair.

Alas, at the ages of three and five, the Bianchis realized that there was more to the boys that what first met the eye, when the more eccentric of the duo, Piérre himself, began laughing so hard that not only did his head feel light and his sides began to split, but he physically began to float and bob about near the ceiling. With hiccups during his wild laughter, Piérre would momentarily 'blink' to another area of the room, in a crude form of what he would eventually learn to be Apperation. These bursts of energy were easily subdued, not contained or denied, by the Bianchis, who were more than surprised and in awe of this magic that they had been unfamiliar with until now. Thus, it came as a lesser surprise when Romeo too began to show bursts of momentary magic, through feats of sheer strength and constitution; whether in the form of enduring long falls, not sustaining any burns from accidentally touching the hot stove while Eleanor cooked, and in the most violent and destructive act, ripping the gas-burning stove from its restraints and then proceeding to throw it across the kitchen at Piérre, who began laughing and hiccupping like a hyena, resulting in his 'blinks'. The Bianchi family, smelling the gas from the stove, ushered the boys out as quickly as possible, but not before Piérre struck a spark, resulting in an explosion and the complete burning down of the first house of the Bianchi's.

Thus, the nomadic family began their ever-moving adventure on their way to secure and settle in a home that would be just right for their magical children.

Muggle Experiences and Travel

Though the family was mostly on the move, never staying in one location for more than a few months and sometimes, on an especially bad experience, weeks, at a time. Such were the cases of the Sicilian towns, and the first two cities of England that the family had attempted to stay in. All of those locations had resulted in extreme bullying of the gentler brother, Piérre, over his jovial nature and his peculiarly piqued ears like that of an elf. Though in every situation, Romeo came in, knocking assaulters down like an ox in direct protection of his twin, in every situation, the boys were expelled, forcing the family to move and take up education in another Muggle school. Naturally, this resulted in a the twins struggling to both learn about the Muggle world as normal children would, and also impeded their ability to socialize and make friends. The only consistent child companionship that the boys had... was found only in one another.

When the family was not scrambling to find a place for the boys to school, the Bianchis were fond of natural and explorative ventures into the sights, sounds, and experiences of everyplace they went; from cliff-scaling, running through groves of olive trees, touring historical landmarks and religious sites, taking trips on Venice's canal gondolas, and much more. The only adventure which the family did not participate in, well, more specifically that Piérre did not participate in, was swimming of any sort. This was because of a mishap which had taken place when the family had been together at the Mediterranean beach. Piérre, intrepidly, had tried to swim out as far as he could. Only being five and a half at the time, the young boy could not fight against the undertow and powerful currents, and had been swiftly drug under. With water crushing in on all sides, the first terror alighted in the young boy's mind, and it was not until his cries of fear and terror reached the ears of Romeo, who took immediate action and fought the tide with all his strength, dragging Piérre to shore and reviving him, that the eccentric Italian finally realized that that day he would not die. Ever since that moment, Piérre has had crippling Aquaphobia, evident in his weak swimming abilities, and his unwillingness to go more than wading in a river or a large body of water.

Thus, armed with a new plethora of experiences and the lad's first fear, the Bianchis kept most of their travels to the land, horse-riding, hang-gliding, ziplining, and all sorts of other sports and activities. When the family didn't have much else to do, or if the boys were to tired to do anything, video games, found mostly in the ColecoVision, Atari, and Nintendo franchises. Piérre fell in love with Nintendo, especially the Mario franchise, to the point that he gave himself his middle name, much to his adoptive parents' chagrins: Luigi. Thus, surrounded by active exploration and a healthy dose of video games, the twins grew up with hands-on experiences, even if their scholarly studies were rather lacking.

It was not long after their sixth birthdays that the twins grew wise to the fact that they were not related to the Bianchis. With a gentle agreement, the Bianchis revealed the night that they had found the twins. Taking the news in stride, perhaps with a little shock and with a nagging question of 'why?' in his mind, Piérre suggested to Romeo a variety of last names that they could take for themselves when they came of age. After quite a bit of a debate, the boys (though admittedly mostly driven by Piérre himself) decided upon Marchonné, a name deriving from an Italian title-- Marchon.

With a new name and with Piérre now with a new quest on his mind, the family continued their travels, the family eventually found their way to London, England, upon hearing hearsay of a magical essence being common in the area. In the Bianchis' minds, a magical hotbed would suit their magical children, and perhaps they would learn of the reason for the twins' special talents.

Unfortunately, as cruel fate would have it, it was not to be. On August 21st, 2015, tragedy struck the Bianchi family. Eleanor and Carlos were fond of motorcycling wherever they went, keeping the boys at home for alone marital bonding. On one of their dates in London, upon cycling back to their apartment where they had made a steady abode, a hotshot driver not paying attention to the flow of traffic or keeping an eye out for such a small vehicle as a Harley, engaged in a right turn, the equivalent of a left turn in America, striking the defenseless Harley and its two riders, instantly killing them. The twins, safe and sound, holed up in the apartment, were only seven, and eight blocks from the site. Nonetheless, both of them felt a chill down their spines, the very second that the motorcycle had been hit. Call it intuition... if questioned, Piérre will call it empathy. A part of him had died with his first adoptive parents, a part of him that would leave a particular hole in his heart that would take years to understand, acknowledge, and fill.

Mathilda Wendigo

Of course, in the Muggle way of investigation and informing, Piérre and Romeo were discovered, rebranded as orphans (as both Eleanor and Carlos had been single children with no living close relatives), and sent off to a Muggle foster home. Romeo, being the more mature of the two, had been run down as to his situation, meanwhile Piérre was in hysterics, not understanding why his adoptive parents hadn't returned home had thought that he was being kidnapped by authorities over his mischief-making. Of course, having the two twins lost in the Muggle foster system was something that the Ministry had been made known of, having been informed by the Italian sector that there was magic running about in Italy, Sicily, and recently, England. Therefore, in an action to prevent the boys from being shipped off to another Muggle family, an Auror by the name of Mathilda Wendigo nominated herself to take guardianship of the twins until they were of age to be independent. Retiring from her job, Mathilda took the two twins under her wings, hardly a week after the boys had been placed in the foster house's custody.

With Mathilda being their new guardian, the boys were swiftly introduced to the brand new world of magic that they discovered they belonged to. While Mathilda was aged, strict, and had never been a mother before, she was more than willing to teach the boys all that she knew in the five years before they would attend Hogwarts. Being a Ravenclaw alumni herself and a former Auror, her knowledge was extensive and easily and greatly improved the boys' acclimation to the sudden world that was thrust upon them. This was especially true for Piérre, who suddenly saw all the pieces click into place; his random 'blinks' the tendency for things to be slightly more surreal around him, and the reasons for the constant moving about of his family.

From then on, it would only be a matter of time until the boys each received their respective letters to Hogwarts.

On June 6th, 2019, their eleventh birthdays, Romeo and Piérre each received an owl carrying a letter with the Hogwarts seal. Mathilda, of course, had informed the boys of the letters and what they would mean if the twins received them, and so both Piérre and Romeo excitedly showed the letters to Mathilda, who immediately made preparations for Diagon Alley so that the boys could collect their school supplies and the wands that would be responsible for harnessing their first bit of controllable magic.

Piérre was frightened to go to school and interact with other children of his age; most of his life had been made up of interacting with adults, and running from children who wanted to bully him, which were most of the kids that he had met in Muggle school. With Romeo on his side, however, Piérre was more encouraged, and became just as jovial as he usually was. Going into Hogwarts, Piérre anticipated himself to be a Hufflepuff; loyal, true, and loving towards anyone he interacted... perhaps even a Slytherin; ambitious and always thinking outside the box to get what he needed... But Gryffindor? True, the now Britalian was willing to stand up for others and often risking his neck for reasons even he didn't quite understand... but Piérre always felt he was a coward. Romeo was a much better fit, a literal white knight in appearance and actions, as the younger twin had always protected Piérre when Muggles attempted to gang up on him in early schooling. As long as Romeo was with Piérre, the elder twin had nothing to fear.

Thus, when Romeo was transferred to Durmstrang hardly a month after Hogwarts' school session started, Piérre was shattered, scared, and felt that there was nothing that could go right. However, the past was destined to belong to the past. The only way Piérre could go was forward, making the best of his first year of magic.

First Year Recap

With the Muggle breakout of COVID-19, the incarceration of the legendary Harry Potter, malicious attacks upon the students of Hogwarts, and the hanging knowledge that the Headmaster Solomon Lear had not been seen for months, how could Piérre's first year be any more dramatic or worthy of a tale?

Though his first year had started small and without much excitement, Piérre joined the Quidditch team, applying as a Seeker, then as a Beater, until finally being put under the apprenticeship of Hugh Lowe, the current Part-giant First-String Keeper at the time. When Hugh was transferred, Piérre became the First-String in his place, though he did win the scrimmage with Hufflepuff's second string players and blocked two possible goals. In October's Masquerade party, Piérre finally managed to show some Gryffindor colors, standing up for a Dhampire boy by the name of Kaegan Deathmote, making a promise in loyal Italian solidarity that by the honor of his name, he would strive to protect the boy at whatever cost. Later, the two boys ran into one another a few days after the incident, and Piérre realized for the first time that there was someone in this school of madness that was like him, a special attribute that he could not place a finger on, yet was present nonetheless.

In December, in light of the Potter incarceration, Piérre took strong steps towards helping the cause in whatever way possible, and in doing so, found himself in the center of a war much greater and much more dangerous than he could have possibly imagined. The presence of a mad Nurse Finnlay and an almost deadly Sectumsempra curse that spring, the consistent breaches and attacking of student in their own common rooms throughout the year, and in the midst of this, a trio of three suspicious students who had witnessed the supposed crime that Potter had committed, one of which Piérre would interact with himself: Victor Moore. Something was off about every interaction that Piérre had had with the boy, something that was just off to the kid, but Piérre was committed to case at any cost, serving as the eyes and ears of the student population, sifting through information, being in places that he wasn't supposed to be, and interfacing with others that had a possibility of knowing anything that could help in the case or the overlaying mystery of the school.

Spring brought another round of dangers and intrigue, as when the Blossom Ball was cancelled and was instead set up by a group of intrepid students, resulting in the attraction of Mosps and the beginnings of frightening and aggressive fights, Piérre, with a sudden burst of intuition, flew away from the pitch at top speed, crashing though a window to gain the help of teachers that better knew how to deal with the situation before returning only to be stung by his named Mosp, Philipe. The moments after that are blurred, but the boy knew that somehow, he had made it out... by his own hand.

The rest of the year was quiet for Piérre, the final excitement of the year was the official Quidditch match between Durmstrang and Hufflepuff in the London Quidditch Stadium. Mathilda had surprised Piérre and Romeo with a pair of Moontrimmers for the upcoming occasion, one for the Keeper in the upcoming game, and the other for the Keeper who would be debuting next year. Without a hesitation, Piérre was in the stands, cheering for his Durmstrang brother, already shocked by how much his once little brother had grown, in strength, maturity, and socially.

With Piérre's first year out of the way, he now knows a bit more about what he could expect for the future... but what he couldn't expect was the Muggle diagnosis that was placed on him a few weeks after the return to London and Mathilda's home.

Hardly a week after the events of the Summer Hogwarts Camp, Piérre began to show small signs of antipathy and disassociation, far more on edge and bordering on paranoia than he usually was. Seeing this was not a magical inhabitation, Mathilda decided to do proceeded a little unorthodoxly and have the Britalian examined and checked up on by Muggle doctors and tests. What they found was nothing out of the ordinary bodily, but rather in his psychology. Muggle doctors diagnosed twelve year old Piérre with Paranoid Schizophrenia, a disorder which often causes the afflicted not to realize what is real and what is fake in their everyday lives. Hearing voices are common in those that are diagnosed with this disorder, that along with visual illusions, both symptoms that the Britalian had recently experienced.

With a positive diagnosis of Paranoid Schizophrenia, both facing the world and growing up in its topsy turviness is a new level of strange, especially with a little voice which is fond of whispering in his ear at opportune and unusual times, guiding him on many occasions on which path to take, how to respond, and certain instincts that drive the Britalian either towards safety or discovery, never in between.

Second Year Recap

Piérre's second year wasn't much less drama-filled than the first, though thankfully the kid seemed to have had at least a little bit of a respite at the times he needed it most. After a brief meeting with the Dhampir Kaegan that Piérre had met last year, he started to recognize similar attributes between them, namely their seeming ability to "peer though worlds" if need be. Piérre always attributed it to thinking outside the box, though he has wondered recently if this is all that those odd "gut-feelings" actually are. The on again off again nature of the meetings between the two of them only seem to cement the peculiarity of their meetings in the boy's mind, and admittedly, he finds himself curious as to if there's more than what first meets the eye.

The school year drug on as it was apt to do, and Gryffindor had been winning all of their games thus far that year, with Piérre excelling as a saver and a cunning (if not always successful) blatcher beneath his captains Evelynn Decipio and Rafael D'Spacitio. The fall ball was of course a mess, and not just for the reason one might think. In fact, there had been a most unfortunate incident that had occurred there that had almost been the cause of the boy almost being ripped apart at the hands of a much older Ravenclaw boy, Vladimir Athenatos. This involved a young woman named Marion Davenport who had come to Piérre specifically for an agenda that was unknown to the boy. Sensing her distress over something or another, Piérre offered to take her for a broom ride to clear her head and dissuade the venomous words of a Thomas Lestrange.

While in the air, however, Marion purposefully dropped herself from Piérre's Moontrimmer, prompting him to try his best to rescue her... and failing as she crumpled to the ground grievously injured despite a short fall. This would amalgamate into Vladimir, Marion, Piérre and a boy Selim Faust gathered together in the Hospital Wing once again, where Piérre would notice strange and bizarre things that were not normal of a healthy person's anatomy; namely black bile and what seemed to be glass bones, as Marion seemed more like a china doll than a person. After assisting at the chagrin of Vladimir, Piérre returned to his house with a tarnish on his name, a chip on his shoulder, and yet another rumor about the boy who was foreign, strange, and who wore the colors that were not of his house, whatever his house actually was.

Unfortunately, this would not be the boy's only misfortune, and on the ride on the Hogwarts Express back to school after Holiday break, the boy would be subjected to an attack by SCAR, a terrorist group that was known for advocating the rights of half-breeds and Squibs when compared to their Pureblooded wizard counterparts. Despite feigning innocence, the young 12 year old couldn't really do much against the much older and stronger men who invaded the train, and he noted once more that Vladimir seemed to be a crux of the situation, the source and seeming focal point of the attention. The train was derailed, and though the boy had survived the initial crash without much harm, when he tried to escape he was instead knocked out by falling luggage; breaking his nose and losing the last of his baby teeth. Surrounded by other Gryffindors and classmates, however, they all worked together to bring him back, and though battered, traumatized, scared, and unsure of his footing, Piérre once again seemed unable to die and would instead, supported by his friends Katrina Walker and Alan Vanes, go on to notice with a Keen Eye that Vladimir (by then being assisted by his father due to the grievous injuries that upperclassman Ravenclaw appeared to be expressing), like Marion, seemed to have some sort of strangeness upon him; blood that was black instead of red, and wounds that seemed to ooze darkness as opposed to vermillion...

Rightfully concerned about all of this, though unsure as to who he could speak to, Piérre kept all these things to himself and resigned himself to the fact that he would simply have to keep this to himself and understand that this was no longer a place to be giddy or cheerful for the sake of being a child enjoying his school years in bliss, but rather a game of survival that would hinge on every decision he made. So....

If the school wanted a fool; a fool they would have. Thus, the boy picked up the monikers "Jester", "Harlequin", and eventually "Pi", the irrational number.

Piérre would not attend the Spring Festival that year. He needed time away from the drama and the chaos that seemed to fall on all sides. However... he would attend the schoolwide event; the Trial By Fear run by former caretaker Kit Paine and Thomas Lestrange, in which he would face his boggart for the first time... and be unable to stop it... or rather, himself. Not too long after these events, Thomas Lestrange would vanish... Just like Victor died the previous year and how many other students around him his last year... Coincidence, bad luck, or something worse...? Not too long after that, the boy would be kidnapped briefly by the Dhampir Kaegan Deathmote once more, though the boy seemed to strike some sort of resonance within the strange boy with words and hopeful ideas of the world that could be bright and beautiful as well as strange and twisted, and after that... he has heard nothing more from him. Has this been for good or ill?

That summer Piérre would win the International Quidditch cup with team Gryffindor against Durmstrang Institute; Romeo would not be as lucky in his broom race, but alas, one could not win all the time, right? At the Camp, Piérre would be highly dissociated and disorganized, almost strange in his actions and movements. He was thinking... about many things... but especially of his reputation after the Trial By Fear and how the rumors of how he had "purposefully" injured Marion Davenport (who had also appeared to go missing after that moment) would haunt him mentally and emotionally.

Why was it that people constantly seemed to go missing around him without warning...?

Third Year Recap

The third year of the Britalian by comparison of the others was rather relaxed and almost laid back. Continuing his mission to practice self reflection, he seemed almost entirely absent from schooling for the first half of the semester. Heck, he hadn't even gone back to London to Mathilda's house for that Christmas Break, electing instead to stay at Hogwarts and deepen his studies. This little detail will help to snowball into a much larger event later, so make sure to stay tuned.

Although keeping out of the social light of the school, the boy would make his first appearance of the 2022 year in the form of assisting a group of students beat off a hag slug made out of pure shadow that was attempting to attack a Hufflepuff girl (Willow/Dorion Andersen). After he and a group of other students that included Jack Burnett, Flash Holmwood, Alec Mason, Galton Lansdale, and Evelynn Decipio, Piérre sneakily kept for himself a bit of the liquid guck that was formerly the form of the slug by picking it up with his wand and briefly smearing it on his scarf; he keeps this in a completely sealed phial in the darkness of his trunk. Would anything bad come of this? Who knows. But, the raven of a boy sure had his hands on something physical now...

The boy would continue to be entirely silent until the coming of the Spring Festival and its subsequent ball, where the Goblet of Fire would be presented to all six of the schools that were in attendance to the host of Hogwarts. Piérre would indeed place his name into the goblet, but would not be chosen. Perhaps that was for the better, after all the kid was rather unstable at times. The presence of his brother did not really help with this... and Piérre's rage would finally make itself known at the ball proper when his brother attempted to reunite with his twin after what he felt to be years without quality contact and connection.

That evening quickly went from bad to worse, ultimately ending in Piérre being chokeheld into unconsciousness by his own twin and being taken to the Hospital Wing by said twin as well as Gryffindor upperclassman Xailah Alptraum, a girl that Piérre had had on again off again contact with but seemed to be a halfway decent human being at the end all be all of it. In the Hospital Wing, as the party went up in flames unbeknownst to the two of them and as the names of the champions were selected one by one, Piérre would be unable to hold in his feelings about his brother and how he had felt that his twin had abandoned him those years ago. In a moment of weakness, Piérre harmed his twin by use of one of their identical twin wands, claiming that his brother was now dead to him. The smaller of the two twins never wanted to see Romeo's face, or speak his name ever again.

Such reckless casting would end up damaging Romeo's wand, the knowledge that its twin had harmed it causing it to falter in its prowess and reducing its usefulness for the much stronger brother. How much longer would the implement last, nobody could tell... but it would be a matter of time in the end.

From there, Piérre began to experience internal dissonance as he attempted to come to terms with his new nature and to decide what exactly he wanted out of himself. It had been so long since he had really relied upon his brother... did he need his twin at all? Then why did he miss that bastard so much? Why did he think about that person all the time without fail...

And what was the jealousy that he felt when he saw his brother fly with that albino seeker... or rather... what was that curiosity? Could it be... that there was a reason for all the madness?

Out of curiosity... what exactly was Piérre's role going to be in the continuing story of this madness?

All good things, the boy was more than sure.

Katrina Walker;

There was something about Katrina when Piérre first met her at the Gryffindor tea party that caused them to... click. This was further solidified when Piérre ended up saving her life in the January of his first year. Still unsure of the emotions that Piérre feels, the Britalian is not sure how to take this friendship that seems to feel more than a friendship and siblinghood.

Alan Vanes;

Though Piérre hasn't spoken to Alan directly, Piérre considers him a friend from a distance. He is a calming beacon, almost like Piérre himself, and Piérre knows that if he can just speak to Alan, they could be fast friends.

Charlie Woodward;

A formal friend, Piérre has a respect for Charlie that hardly any others possess. After helping Piérre escape the Blossom Ball, Piérre holds Charlie in highest esteem, especially after learning that this rather intriguing Pureblood attempted to catch and tame Philipe, a Mosp that Piérre himself had named.

Evelynn Decipio;

A fiery redhead with a knack for thinking outside of the box, Piérre immediately found himself intrigued by this Ravenclaw Gryffindor. With a sound head on her shoulders and a determination that few can match, Piérre is proud to call Evelynn a friend and sister to him.

Rafael D'Spacito;

Rafael is Piérre's best buddy, almost brother, and epic dormmate. If not because of the fact that Rafa is his captain, it is because Rafa has a certain blunt quality that Piérre admires. He doesn't hide the truth. Just being in his presence helps Piérre to feel calm and reassured, almost like he has found a piece of himself that he didn't know was missing.

Zykeal Lane;

One of Piérre's tentmates in his first year summer experience, Piérre thought of the redhead as almost equal to him as far as his comedy and lighthearted humor. As time goes on, perhaps they could form a meaningful relationship!

This was Piérre's victim during his first experience playing "Spin the Bottle". Just a cool bro-hug, no homo, man! Maybe even brotherhood is in store between the two of them.

Griseldis Edelhardt

Piérre thinks that this Gryffindor Prefect is quite sweet, hosting many errands for him to partake in, being a splendid Beater, and just being an all-around great person. Now if only he could actually have a mono e mono conversation with her...

Ivy Bellamy;

Piérre's replacement Second-String Keeper, Piérre feels obligated to form a close relationship with Ivy. She seems a little rough around the edges, but Piérre is convinced that he can bring out the best in her.

Jane Victoria;

Piérre has flitted in and out of contact with Jane. She seems harsh, that's all that Piérre can say about her at this point.

Jürgen Hess;

Piérre met the boy during an event in the Hospital Wing with Galton Lansdale. While Piérre is not against the lad, he can't help thinking that perhaps this Gryffindor knows more than what he is initially letting on.

Juniper Irving;

Piérre met this Gryffindor during an Autumn cleaning errand that had been set up by one of the Gryffindor Prefects. Piérre thinks Juniper to be rather mellow, not too harsh and not to exciting, peacefully cruising on that medium level.

Kyle DeRook;

The former Quidditch captain of the Gryffindor team, Piérre never really was on speaking terms with the captain. However, that did not mean that Piérre hated the boy, he just wanted to see a better side of the werewolf.

Ruka Tân;

Piérre met Ruka during a Transfiguration Errand about the Chinese New Year. He doesn't know much about the fiery boy.

Wren Caster;

Also a member of the Gryffindor Quidditch team, Piérre had his first formal meeting wiith Wren while decorating for Christmastime. Piérre thinks her chatty, which in and of itself is not a negative trait... but it grows wearisome after a time.

Aurelia Notrésvace;

To say that Piérre and Aurelia's relationship is peculiar is an understatement. In fact, does not know Aurelia, for his first meeting with her was when she provoked a Dhampire. Piérre was unaware that it was Aurelia who provoked Kaegan, and even without knowing that, Piérre finds Aurelia a bit of an uptight individual. He hopes to get to know her better, however, and hopes that eventually they will warm up to one another.

Xailah Alptraum;

While Xailah is outwardly intimidating in Piérre's eyes, there is something about that Gryffindor Prefect that Piérre finds intriguing and he longs to learn more about her and her incredible wit and skillset.

Bastille Aurelius;

Piérre first met this Second Year during a brief errand. He was nice, if a bit of a wallflower... Didn't even speak to Piérre directly, if Piérre recalls correctly.

Elsa Veronica Bennett;

This Second Year Gryffindor was once on the Gryffindor Quidditch team, and Piérre also interacted with her briefly when decorating for Christmastime. She didn't make much of an impression on him, and unfortunately he has lost track of her.

Euphrasia Millie;

Piérre met this third year Gryffindor through Maggie. He hasn't spoken to her directly, but she seemed nice enough.

Elizabeth Smith;

Piérre didn't know this First Year exceptionally well... She seemed awkward, but more than that, she was a bit forceful and almost clingy. She somewhat faded into the background after their first few interactions.

Grayson Ackley (No User);

Piérre met this Second Year at the Gryffindor table just after his Sorting. The boy spoke a few words to Piérre, but then went away, and Piérre hasn't seen him since.

One of Piérre's first friends in Gryffindor, Maggie, a Second Year, was supportive of Piérre as if he were her little brother. She was there when Romeo departed from Hogwarts to attend Durmstrang, but after that moment, she and Piérre never spoke again, and they drifted apart.

Piérre first met this First Year Gryffindor on his ride to Hogwarts by gondola. While he wasn't especially fond of them, Piérre couldn't help but be charmed by the kid's tricky nature, especially when crashing the Puff party even before Piérre was there.

Piérre met Atlas during the chaos in the Hospital Wing. Piérre also remembers her from the Hufflepuff and Gryffindor scrimmage match where she scored on him. Not negative, not positive.

While he is not exceptionally close to her, Piérre and Ginerva did have a small intimate conversation while the former was serving his duty as a Host in one of the clubs he was a part of. Piérre thinks her very sweet and kind and hopes to grow closer to her.

Being a loudmouth, Piérre let it slip way back in the Winter of his first year that the Gryffindor house was forming a Liberation club for freeing Potter. Logan was one of the three individuals who both believed and joined him for the Liberation meeting.

Piérre met this First year Hufflepuff at the Hufflepuff pride party. She seemed highly strung, and he only spoke a few sentences to her before he was kicked out.

Lindsey Bush;

Piérre met this First Year Hufflepuff during an Autumn cleaning errand run by one of the Gryffindor Prefects. She seemed fine enough, softspoken and rather easy to lose in a crowd, but nothing extremely negative.

Maya Hunter;

Like Libby Holmgren, Piérre met this First Year Hufflepuff at the Puff Party, spoke a few words to her... but she didn't make much of an impact on him.

Piérre briefly interacted with this Hufflepuff First year by the Great Lake, where the two of them were discussing a funny-looking magical creature that had washed up on shore. Piérre hasn't seen her since.

Thrown together by the winds of chance (and a stinkbomb that Piérre had planted), Pericles and Piérre became fast allies in a horrific experience of the Sectumsempra curse being used in effect. However, even without that binding experience bringing them together, Piérre and Pericles share quite a bit in common, namely curiosity. A Ravenclaw and a Gryffindor; a fine pairing indeed.

I don't know if he considers me a friend back... but I feel that there is something that connects us in a positive light. Maybe if I could show him that the world isn't as dark as he believes it to be, we could be inseparable... I feel obligated to him, after defending him at the Masquerade Ball.

Piérre first met this shy Slytherin during Maggie's movie night. Remi somewhat disappeared shortly after Piérre spoke to him, and the lad hasn't seen him since...

The teacher of Transfiguration and a young, playful teacher at that, Piérre thinks that Miss Cy is the cat's pajamas. Along with sharing his mischievous streak and always keeping the boy engaged, Piérre longs to become an Animagus, just like the Transfiguration teacher. Piérre hopes to form a closer bond with Miss Cy, and thinks of her as his surrogate mother.

Once his professor of Astronomy, now the Head of House Ravenclaw, Piérre had his first altercation with this Dhampire professor during the Masquerade Ball where the Britalian had attempted to help another Dhampire. Though they had started off on the wrong foot, Piérre is determined to form a better relationship with the intriguing professor.

Artimis Vernatis (aka. Mister Artie);

Piérre's Charms teacher, Artemis and Piérre met during the ill-fated Blossom Ball, when Piérre crashed through the Great Hall's window in order to call for help. Piérre then blatantly ignored the instructions of Artemis, returning to the party even though he had been told not to.

Hjørdis Jensen (aka. Miss Nora);

The White-haired head of House Slytherin, Piérre met this head of house when partaking in an errand harvesting Mandrakes. She seems nice enough, if a little stern.

Kateri Karr (aka. Miss Kara);

Piérre's Professor of Astronomy, Kateri had been one of those wwho had responded to Piérre's cry for help when the Blossom Ball had gone south. She hadn't made much impression on him, but Piérre thinks she's pretty cool.

Rosalind Kiblitzer (aka. Miss Blitzen);

Miss Kiblitzer did a tarot reading for Piérre. He is excited for his Divination classes, and can't wait to get more in tune with his third eye. Perhaps it can offer some insight into the little voice in his head that is commonly brushed aside as Paranoid Schizophrenia.

Though the Professor had been a bit harsh at first, getting on the boy's case for falling asleep during the meeting, Piérre knows that bitter behavior comes from a great concern related to the issue. Price was an awesome teacher, and Piérre misses him dearly.

Olphie Bercegeay (aka. Miss Olphie);

An eccentric after Piérre's own heart, Piérre loved his flying teacher dearly. Though even her silliness could overwhelm the Britalian, Piérre made that a point to force himself to improve and up his game.

From the start, Piérre could sense that Fin was insane. His actions, words, and methods were not that of a rationally thinking individual. If permitted to continue going free, Piérre knows that Fin will be the death of more than one student, and will shed blood in order to meet his goal, whatever it may be.

Piérre first met Victor while he was pillaging the Caretaker's Office looking for something. He seems scared of the easygoing Britalian, and that is something that hurts Piérre deeply. However, for some reason, Piérre feels that perhaps the kid should be scared. He's too shady for the Britalian's comfort...

About the Patch Ipnotizzatore

Born within wedlock in 1968, the first of 8 children, a firstborn son was christened Gitano Luca Vero in Messina Sicily by parents Marius Aristide Vero and Anete Cosima Altomare-Vero. His 6 brothers are from eldest to youngest: Ettore Fiorenzo, Sante Fausto, Moreno Alvise, Bonaventure Aurelius, Ottone Paolo, and Noé Rocco. His youngest sibling, a sister, is Chiara Rosalba.

The Vero family came from little renown, and of even lesser renown through Marius, who had been a youngest child in a family of 3 elder sisters. Whereas the sisters had been wedded off into further wealth, Marius had found himself drawn to an elusive prize, that of the single daughter of the Altomare family. Though he had been told that his inheritance would hardly purchase the right to wed, that he should be sparing and find a better, more fruitful venture with another, wizarding or otherwise, Marius would not be swayed, and found himself more entranced with the idea of defying the challenge the universe had placed before him than the scoffing of his elder, wealthier sisters. The Altomares took advantage of this obvious weakness, and by subtle means, fine print, and blackmail deriving from the two lover's wedlock scandal, the Altomares embezzled most of Marius' sparse inheritance into their own coffers.

Still, despite these misfortunes, both Marius and Anete found themselves happy with their circumstances. It was a classic tale of young love that reigned victorious over the odds, almost picture perfect... Even with the snags which came with any relationship, especially concerning finances.

Marius was a potions prodigy, though with his inability to come into the possession of more valuable components and lucrative business closures, the greatest of his brews were that of healing or minor mind-altering potions. Nothing dramatic, nothing noteworthy, though incredibly high quality for the ingredients he could come by. Anete herself was an adept in magizoology, as her family had been affiliated with the protection services and methods of cloaking the native creatures from Muggle eyes in populated areas. But, as her family had claimed a monopoly in the local area, there was no overtly profitable work to be had for herself.

Because of this, the lifestyle of the Vero family was mediocre, bordering on lower class. With 8 children, income came and went, and it was only by a hasty pooling of funds and determined saving that the Veros were able to send their oldest, Gitano, to Beauxbatons. None of their other children would have that luxury.

Charming and incredibly polite to his teachers and his classmates, Gitano, unlike his mother, didn't seem to have an affinity with animals, though he was rather good at realizing the things that could be harvested from them in the pursuit of alchemical practices healing and hindering alike. Because of this, he found himself excelling in similar things as his father; potioneering and in charms.

It came as no surprise, then, that as he became more adept at potions, he began to grow more ambitious in the complexity of his potions, the desire to provide for his family brood apparent in his interrogative questions and sometime reckless brewing. Indeed, when he was practicing on his own during his 4th year, he had an incident involving the use of Swooping Evil venom which cost him his right eye.

When his first four years were completed at Beauxbatons, Gitano paid his own way to be educated for the remaining three as a potions maker with expertise in charms on the side; specifically in the realm of mental magics and Occlumency. Though chastised for being graceless and reckless in the movements of his brewing or the way he rationalized his often unorthodox methods of thinking and performing the craft, Gitano always exuded a constant, charismatic side of him that often diffused all criticisms against him the more he spoke and subtly flourished his native tongue. French never seemed to stick with him, maybe that was the reason he never seemed to follow the grain of his intructors' methods, instead electing to attempt his own.

At the conclusion of his additional 3 years, Gitano made his way as a freelance potioneer-- taking requests or selling that which he had on hand-- moving about Sicily as the charming, sweet-talking, and rather handsome "Patch Ipnotizzatore" (Mesmer Patch) or simply "Patch" as he was known in passing.

When he started expanding his wanderings to mainland Italy, nobody thought it odd. It wasn't until an incident occurred in which a father realized that their newborn looked nothing like him that suspicions were aroused. This was especially proved when two more cases were reported... And a certain potionmaker had vanished during a rather suspicious timeframe. However, despite the accusations leveled at a representative of of the Vero house, nothing could be proved. There was not enough substantial evidence, and Gitano always seemed to have an alibi strong enough to stand against a Norwegian Ridgeback; as well as his own irritatingly suave aura and honeyed, charmingly deflective words which coaxed away most of the ire thrown his way.

After fines had been doled out, Gitano made his way north to Norway and its adjoining countries to tactically distance himself from the slowly fading rumors of the South. There, while beginning to learn one of the languages of the area, Gitano managed to aquire the services of a small clutch of performers and oddities. Bound together by his charisma and shrewd business head, Gitano named this new troupe the Jubilant Bazaar. With more successes and further reach and travel, Gitano collected oddities and performers that caught his eye or that he believed would catch the eyes of any patron.

The Bazaar travelled throughout the Northern countries of Europe, specifically circling between Russia and Norway. Its cast was made up of acrobats, trapeze artists, jongleurs, tamers, firebreathers, and minor magical beasts. However... With the addition of glamorous magic and a strong, assertive voice directing the audience's attentions... It made a quite impressive show indeed.

Yet despite his incredible direction of the attention of a spellbound audience during a performance, the claims that these things were of the nailbiting and bizarre alike, Gitano was far from an affable person when it came to money and especially children. He was shrewd and slimy when it came to paying performers or dealing with the rowdy children that scampered and scrambled all about the circus' grounds. Evidently the markers of his poor upbringing due to his enormous family's brood had left the telltale signs of indescribable greed and apathy of the idea that he might one day return to that poor lifestyle.

It seemed that Gitano's most evident goal in his life as of now is to ascend to the top of the totem pole with decadent pleasures and vices.

And to stay there permanently.

The 2007 Gemini Incident

In June of 2007, Gitano took a temporary leave of the Bazaar to pursue a homecoming to Motherland Italy. He couldn't help the fact that those tawny beauties seemed to possess a trait that the pale northerners didn't possess. Besides, it had been nearly three decades since he had seen, let alone set foot upon his home turf; the start of everything.

The suave Ringleader had learned his lesson from previous flings, the fact that on occasion some individuals were not very good at keeping secrets. As a result, Gitano had come prepared. "Precaution, I assure you." Gitano had always expressed when it was most necessary. Fortunately it was precious little, only by using his affinity with memory magics and potions that he would subtly manipulate the situation and thus neatly cut himself out of a rather scandalous portrait that his poor father Marius would otherwise be unable to contend with.

Ah yes, he made another mess... but why would these two whelps be special? Abandon them like all the others, the brood parasite made his way north after the dirty work was done.

Patronus Reducio Corporal Patronus Messenger Coming Soon? Hippogriff; Hippogriffs are a rare Patronus that is half-eagle and half-horse. Hippogriffs are extremely dangerous and powerful, the type of creature that people tend to revere and hold in high respect. Those who have this Patronus are passionate and fierce, but they have a loving side to them as well. Those with this unusual patronus are truly unique in character. Fiercely loyal to those who earn their trust, often willing to go the extra mile for those who they care for, the bearer of the Hippogriff is most Loyal to their friends above all others. Those with the Hippogriff patronus are often very proud and self assured; almost never forgiving insults easily. Occasionally this pride can drift into arrogance and cause friction with those around them, but the ultimate characteristic which makes them so rare to find is the presence of their large heart. Upon shaking, the liquid offers no complaint, smoothly swishing about and remaining just as it had been when the hair was first added; nearing the end of the mixing, it starts gaining small granules of a slightly more scarlet red coloration, almost like sugar not totally saturated in water. By the time of imbibing, the potion smells like a strange mixture of sandalwood and sea salt, just potent enough to sting one's nose, but soft enough that it isn't overpowering. The liquid has settled on a 'healing potion red' coloration. It tastes like it smells; slightly salty and woody but with an aftertaste of sweetness (present in the slightly granular texture), going down as easily as and warming a person like brandy on a cold day.
