Personality: Care free, flamboyant, and excitable are all ways in which one could describe Bo. Bo has a tendency to take on whatever his current interest is with unmatched enthusiasm, while if he isn’t interested in an item leave it for others to pursue. He often speaks his mind regardless of the consequences to himself or the feelings of others. Like many other 11 year olds he sees himself as invincible and destined for great and many things, even if there is little evidence to prove such aspirations at this point in his life. He can be a fast friend and strong ally if he finds the relationship interesting, though once the interest wanes one will be left pondering if any of it was genuine.
Appearance: At 5 feet tall Bo is a little taller than the average 11 year old. He is of a slim build, and athletic. His interest in sports sees to it that even for a pre-teen he is constantly eating and on the move. Tall and wirey are the best ways to describe him at this stage. As for his usual look, he has slightly long blonde hair that has very little done to it. Instead it roams free in a constant mess that he can’t help but play with and flip on every occasion. Bright blue eyes, and a winning smile leads him to easily schmooze, even if it’s all shallow. As for his dress, his muggle upbringing has led him to be more akin with muggle clothes than traditional robes. Happy in a pair of shorts and a tight T, rather than baggy robes.
History/Background Story: Bo’s parents are originally from the Midwest, where he spent his younger years. His parents made their wealth off of real estate, quickly buying cheap land and then selling it off. Most successful with the airline industry, assisting in the expansion of several airports. Due to this, Bo spent a lot of time in the air, as his family traveled for business. This was what started his love for flying.
While his parents both were well aware of the magical world, they choose to work within the realm of the no maj. Finding it easier to navigate the business world with a charm or babble beverage they led their deals to even more profitable outcomes. Both parents magically trained, though only his mother was a Pureblood of American heritage. His father moving up by enticing her, and then bringing the muggle business to heel next.
His first glimpse of magical ability came within this very profession. At a busy airport he found his way into a conveyer belt, and then into the more dangerous baggage sorting. His parents wands almost drawn as they dove in to save him they turned to find him sitting behind them. In his arms holding a large stuffed animal magicked from someone else’s bags. Laughing they allowed the boy to keep the unicorn, as they continued on the trip.
After making their fortune in America they moved to England to continue the trend, seeking out even greener pastures. Buying an old house in the country, they started to recreate their estate like something out of Pride and Prejudice. With his magical abilities continuing to exude, they weren’t surprised to get a Hogwarts and American magic school letter, though they were not willing to send their only son across the ocean and they opted to stay in England.
Now at Hogwarts Bo has started to truly settle into his own away for in many ways the first time from his parents. Growing up as part of business deals and the high life, he’s learned from this and is trying to make a name for himself in the school. Having very little pre-knowledge of the houses he is quickly learning what it means to be a Slytherin, and how those around him will get his position to where he wants it to be.
