Backstory and pre Hogwarts history
Terrance is from a centuries long line of pureblood witches and wizards. His parents Esmeralda (also called Esme) Ross and Fredrick Ross met at Hogwarts being the same age. His mother was a Hufflepuff and his father was a Ravenclaw. After Hogwarts his father became a pub landlord of a small wizarding pub in their area and his mother became an esteemed healer. They had his eldest sibling fairly young at 23, Damian easily becoming a Ravenclaw prefect, working hard in whatever he did. He was considered “the perfect child” the example child. Someone who developed his powers at a strikingly young age. He was everything Terrance aspired to be when he grew up, who when he was a little toddler never left his side when he was there. His other older brother Kenneth just recently graduated Hogwarts.
His childhood was spent with a loving pair of parents. They did whatever they could to make sure each child succeeded and knew how to work towards their wizarding future. When he was born his parents couldn’t have been more excited for another wizard to be born into the family. He took up a love for the arts to keep him busy along with reading. He wanted to explore as much as he could, also incredibly fascinated with muggles and muggle born wizards and witches. His parents answered what questions they could. To them it was already pretty clear where be belonged. And to him for the most part he was always enamoured with Ravenclaw. It would have been a way for him to feel closer to someone he idolized for so long.
Regarding his magic discovery It was his 5th birthday when he first discovered his powers. He had been a little impatient, levitating his cake, once his parents had seen the cake he had dropped it out of fear. It was the first and last time he had truly been in trouble with having his parents somewhat excited about his powers being revealed.

Best qualities: He’s creative, always wanting to look at things from each prospective, having a unique take on life. He’s ambitious, he knows what he wants out of life and even young wants to always ask to figure out a way to do it. Once he makes friends with you and you manage to get him out of his shell he’s a super loyal friend and will stick by your side through thick and thin. Remarkably honest and trustworthy, kind of like a wizard Boy Scout. A big nerd with a big heart. Sticks to what he believes in. Intelligent and studious too.
Worst qualities: He can seem aloof at first. Usually completely enraptured in what he’s doing rather than other people. He’s stubborn almost to a fault, once he’s set on something there is no way he’s being pulled away from it. He can be a little nosy and pushing seeming, accidentally getting into people’s business when he doesn’t mean to. He’s really shy at times, not the most confident especially having a lot to live up to. Sometimes it’s really hard to tell what he’s thinking.
Sexual orientation: Straight (though relative to change, he is 11 after all)
Additional basics to know
-His family is known for being really tall so him being considerably taller than all the other kids is to be expected, his eldest brother is 6’8” after all. His mom is 5’11” and his dad is around his eldest brother’s height.
-His bogart would probably have to do with the ocean.
-Terrance has been called a good luck charm by his brothers and parents for his naturally lucky qualities and ability to avoid trouble.
-used to own a Puffskein named Custard.
