History/Background

Pre-Hogwarts

Shelby Clark is from Jacksonville, Florida. She was born on August 10th, 2007 to Elijah and Isabelle Clark in Miami. She lived in Miami until she was three, when her mother, who was in the army, was transferred to a station in Virginia. She stayed there for two more years until her mother was given an honorable discharge after obtaining and injury and moved back to Florida. Being muggles, her parents had no idea about the magic world until the accident, when she was nine. Her family went hiking and when she and her siblings went off on their own, her brother nearly fell off a cliff to his death, but Shelby summon so much will that she levitated him back onto the ground, to safety.

Her parents were told and they acted without fear, just caution. They tried to figure out what was going on by themselves but eventually wizards came and explained. After coming to an agreement, in which Shelby would attend school in England, where her Aunt Greta lived, they obliviated her family and made them think she was going to a prestige private school for gifted children.

Shelby lives with her Aunt Greta, who taught her as much as she needed to know in the two years before she would be sent to Hogwarts. She learned about Diagon Alley, Quidditch, moving pictures, wizard politics, everything. At first she responded with fear and confusion, becoming a witch and moving to a whole new country, but she learned to accept it with happiness, because it wasn't that bad. Now Shelby, being the young and innocent girl she is, just wants to have fun and make good friends.
