Before Coming To Hogwarts : 

Amaya's parents, Delilah Jackson, and Jasper Jackson, both went to Hogwarts as children. Her mother Delilah was a Ravenclaw, and loved to study interesting creatures. Her father, on the other hand, was a absolute troublemaker, and often broke rules. They met at Hogwarts and fell in love with one-another. Delilah was top of her class, always getting the best grades and praise from her teachers. Jasper often needed help with classes so it was a good thing he had Delilah. They were both born into wizard families, both with interesting history. Delilah was born into a stream of Gryffindors, and her parents were shocked when she was put into Ravenclaw. Delilah's grandfather was a wizard, but he often loved to do muggle "wood-working" and "carpentering". He died when Amaya was four, so she doesn't have a great memory of him. Amaya's dream was to come to Hogwarts, and she tried to study as much as possible before coming. Her parents said they "Always knew she would get in!" and even bet on what House she would be put into. She was delighted when she got her acceptance letter, and tried to read as many books on Hogwarts as possible before coming. She had always loved the idea of going to a real wizarding school, and loved the thought of coming here. She showed her first sign of magic when she was three, and her parents took her for a walk by a river in a park. She was looking in through the edge of the water, and fell in. Her parents rushed over to the river, and tried to pull her out, but she pulled herself out, and she was fine. After that, they knew she was a witch, and she would be a great one, too. She grew up with an Aunt ( Mother's sister ) who she called "Debs" but her name was actually Debbie. Her mother often joked that her parent's didn't like her, and that's why they named her that. On her father's side, he had a brother named Ace, whom disappeared when her father was five.

Personality:  Amaya is very shy, and often barely speaks to people. She is very kind, and quiet, and loves to make new friends. She is a very talented artist, or, at-least, that's what people say to her. She thinks of herself as a disappointment, and just wants to make her parents proud. She often rambles on about things when meeting new people, mostly because she has no idea of what to talk about, and doesn't want to them hate her. She thinks people won't like her, and has a hard time talking to people. She writes stories, and usually never shows them to people, but she is proud of her writings, and feels embarrassed when people see them. She keeps to herself, and tries to keep up with her class work, often doing a little more than she needs. She is an introvert, and tries to keep to herself.
